Our Nursery Awards 2026 celebrate excellence in nursery care by recognising the Top 20 nurseries across 12 UK regions. These prestigious awards honour nurseries that have received outstanding reviews from those who matter most – parents and individuals responsible for children attending the nurseries.
All nurseries listed on daynurseries.co.uk are automatically entered into the Top 20 Individual Day Nursery Awards. To qualify as a winner, nurseries must meet all the following criteria:
- Have a review score which might place them in the Top 20 in their region at 11.59 pm on the cut-off date, Tuesday 31st March 2026
- Have 5 or more reviews published in the awards timeframe (between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2026)
- Be compliant with the regulatory authority as per our specified criteria
Our Nursery Group Awards 2026 celebrate excellence in nursery care by recognising the Top 20 highest-rated Nursery Groups in the UK, across 3 categories. These prestigious awards honour nursery groups that have received outstanding reviews from those who matter most - parents and individuals responsible for children attending the nurseries.
All nursery groups listed on daynurseries.co.uk are automatically entered into the Top 20 Day Nursery Group Awards. To qualify as a winner, a group must meet all of the following criteria:
- Have a group review score which might place them in the Top 20 in their group size category at 11.59 pm on the cut-off date, Tuesday 31st March 2026
- Have at least 75% regulatory-compliant nurseries within their group as per our specified criteria
The 3 categories in the Nursery Group Awards are:
- Top 20 Large Nursery Groups (12+ group members)
- Top 20 Mid-Size Nursery Groups (6-11 group members)
- Top 20 Small Nursery Groups (2-5 group members)
