Overall Experience

My son started Thornhill in Oct-25, joining the baby room. As a first time mum, I was anxious about leaving my son at a nursery, but the staff at Thornhill have been brilliant. My son took no time at all to settle in and absolutely loves being there! Even though he's only been there a couple of months

now, I can tell he's already built up a bond with the staff and his development has come on loads. There's always different activities and they've got my son eating a wide variety of food. The staff who run the baby room are so lovely and do such a wonderful job. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice of nursery. Thank you!

Our experience at Four Brooks has been brilliant. All the staff are amazing, and our little boy has thrived. He is always so excited every day to go, and even asks to go on his days off. Overall Experience

The team at Field House are so skilled, warm, caring and considerate not only of the children their care but also of parents experiencing the same separation angst as their child who might be attending nursery for the first time.

My daughter certainly struggled initially but the team were so patient

and kind with us both as she settled.

In a matter of weeks I'm seeing brilliant photos of her playing with others, she sleeps far better at nursery than she does for me and the breadth of foods she's trying and enjoying is beyond anything I could do at home.

I'm truly very impressed and would recommend to anyone. The facilities are of course very good but it's the team you need to trust in.

Overall Experience

Our little one has been attending Thornhill since Feb 2025 and is absolutely thriving. She took a little while to settle when she first started but the staff were so patient and caring and gave her as many settling-in days as she needed. Now, many months later she loves it and I can see that her speech

and other areas of development have come on leaps and bounds. We get updates and pictures every day which I love and she's always smiling and doing something new and exciting. All the activities provided definitely aid in her development and she always looks like shes having so much fun. The staff are so caring and I never worry when she's in their care. Staff are always quick to reply if I send a message on the app. My little one loves all the staff and even says all their names before bedtime. :) Thank you to everyone at Thornhill.

My Daughter has recently left for school. She thrived whilst being at the setting and used to tell us how much she loved being there. Our son now attends in the baby room and the staff were amazing with settling him in. His speech has come on tremendously and he loves going in. The nursery has a home

from home feel and being a smaller nursery the staff know all the children individually. The garden is lovely and is a big space for them to enjoy. My Daughter also enjoyed the forest school sessions that are also offered at the setting

My daughter joined when she was 8 months old and all the staff took great care of her. All staff are very attentive, loving, encouraging and supportive from her transition period - all the way to her preschool graduation. My son has joined recently after swapping from another nursery. He has settled in well and has taken a keen liking to his new nursery teachers. I like that the nursery upload pictures daily, this is something his other nursery didnt do. I receive a catch up about his day on collection too. Overall happy

My daughter attended this nursery for about eight months but never truly settled. In her final weeks there, she became visibly distressed - crying, refusing to go, and becoming anxious even when we drove past. She began waking repeatedly at night, pleading not to return.
At one point, she started biting

herself in the toilet and repeating disturbing phrases such as, "Sit down, I told you to sit down," which was deeply alarming. When I raised these concerns and showed a short video, the nursery offered vague explanations, suggesting language barriers or other children's behaviour, which I found unsatisfactory.
I requested access to footage under GDPR, but this was denied, and no proper investigation followed. Ofsted was notified, but months later, we have received no update.
After moving her to another nursery, she settled within four sessions. The new staff have been caring, professional, and supportive, and she is finally recovering emotionally.

We take any concern about a child's wellbeing extremely seriously. When your concerns were raised, the Nursery Manager completed a full review in line with our safeguarding and complaints procedures: meeting with you, speaking with staff, and reviewing CCTV. We also sought advice from the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), who advised that the matter didn't meet the threshold for formal involvement. As you were unhappy with the outcome, your concerns were escalated to our Area Manager. After a further and thorough review, no evidence of inappropriate conduct was found, and all requested documents were shared. We're disappointed to have reached this point despite our efforts to support your family. Our priority is a safe, nurturing environment for every child. If you'd like to discuss your concerns further, don't hesitate to get in touch directly.
