Puddleducks is a wonderful place for a child to build their personalities and learn. Such a pleasant environment with lots to keep the children engaged throughout their day. The staff are warm and friendly and make the children's day by creating imaginative play scenarios on a daily basis. Great place
and great location if you work in the city centre

Puddle ducks is a perfect place for kids, the staff is so helpful and caring, there are several activities for kids, which is very helpful in their development, my daughter gets really excited as soon as we enter the building, when I compared puddle ducks with other nurseries I was looking for the nanny
vs child ratio, cleanliness, how engaged the kids are kept, how much space the facility has and in all the parameters I found puddle ducks to be way ahead, the only thing I can say they could improve is the timings due to work it is difficult to pick the child before 1715, I have to leave office by 1630 everyday to reach on time, if the time could be extended to 1800 it would be huge help.

I currently have 2 children attending puddleducks - one of which has been there for almost 3 years. From the management right through - the staff are exceptional, welcoming and warm. They make both parents and children feel at ease. Their professionalism and passion for what they do is like no other
with key workers assigned to children giving developmental updates, working through major milestones like potty training, movement and speech to support parents and intentional play. Puddleducks is far from a daycare where you drop your kids and go, it is like a second home and both my children are absolutely thriving. Regular updates through the day, an on sight chef who provides menus each week with tasty food (and the kids LOVE), staff are highly trained and noticeably extremely knowledgeable, I couldn't fault it.

We love Puddleducks and send both our boys here, one with additional needs. The love that is shown to both boys is incredible and the nursery were so understanding with both boys having a tough time settling in.

They work one-to-one when they can with my son with additional needs and both boys have

come on leaps and bounds since joining Puddleducks.

The girls all show so much love and care, and its wonderful to see!

Our little girl has been at Puddleducks since the baby room in 2024. She's moved up and has recently just started in the "big girls room" called Cygnets. She really loves it and has been so happy in each room, with different staff and wee friends. I would really recommend Puddleducks to anyone thinking
about it.

Puddleducks has been a wonderful nursery for my son. The staff are caring, warm and friendly. My son is excited to go to Puddleducks. He loves the toys and activities there. The Manager and Staff made sure my son is comfortable and enjoys his time there. My little boy sometimes doesn't eat well. I have
seen the staff offer him food later, if he doesn't have lunch. The staff sat beside him and was encouraging him to take bites of food.
The Manager and Staff organised a lovely Christmas party for kids and my son totally had fun. I was worried about my son being comfortable in the starting days and the Staff were very kind to my son. In the initial days if he cried, they held him until he settled down. Once when I went to pick him, I saw him sitting in one of the Staff's legs and happily playing :) They also teach kids to sign, have story time, painting and outdoor fun times. Overall it's a happy experience for my son in Puddleducks

I would recommend Puddleducks to any family. The care and compassion that the staff have for the children shine through. I can raise any concerns or queries easily or even just talk about my child's development, likes, dislikes, any issues, with any member of staff. management staff are very available,
easily reachable and responsive. Also great food and car parking for drop off. It is so reassuring to leave my child in their care and I will be sending my second child when I go back to work without hesitation.

Fantastic Nursery they have been looking after my baba since 5 months old and I am so grateful for the care and attention they give I have popped in a few times randomly to drop things off and the girls are always being so attentive to the kids weather that's rocking them or playing and engaging with
them they girls are all so so lovely and it really comes across like a little family they always keep me informed and they work with you when your baba is at different stages and keep the home routines in the setting it's such a unique setting they give advice and guidance, I was recommended here by few people and I'm so glad I got a space my little one had come on so well and she absolutely loves it as much as it can be so hard leaving them it really helps to know I'm leaving her here cause I know she's looked after and they are straight on the phone and app with any concerns I would highly recommend Puddleducks

My daughter has been attending Puddleducks since she was 11 months old, and it has been such a wonderful experience. She truly enjoys her time there and loves all the engaging activities they provide. The team is absolutely awesome-the love and care she receives is amazing. With great food, a consistently
clean environment, and such a welcoming atmosphere, I couldn't ask for a better place for her. Kudos to the entire team of Puddleducks.

I couldn't imagine a better childcare setting, both of my children have attended Puddleducks since they were 9 months old. You just need to look at the kids to see how happy and comfortable they are in Puddleducks. My youngest can't wait to get into Puddleducks and start her day. Even on the days that
she is not feeling 100% she puts her arms out to one of the team for cuddles. The chef continuously provides menus that are nourishing, healthy, and delicious. My son was very disappointed that he wasn't offered the same standard when he started school. When a child is sick, they inform all the parents by sending an info sheet giving the signs and symptoms to look out for, also tips on how to ease the child's suffering. Throughout the day they send updates/photos of how the child is getting on and regularly give developmental updates. Their patience and understanding is invaluable. I could not recommend Puddleducks highly enough, they all go well beyond the call of duty.

My little boy (aged 34 months) just adores attending Puddleducks! I was a bit concerned as to how he would settle in as he'd had very little contact with other children prior to starting there but from day one he has absolutely loved it and hasn't looked back since! His speech and ability to interact
with others has really noticeably improved in the six or so months since he started and he always comes home happy with lots of stories about his friends and what he's been up to. The manager and the team are so welcoming and always ready and able to answer any questions. When we started potty training they were very helpful and really put me at ease that it wouldn't be a problem for them to assist with it while he was in their care; I feel this has been a significant factor in how successful it's been. With fantastic staff, great, healthy food and all the indoor and outdoor facilities you could ask for, I really can't recommend Puddleducks enough!

My son has been in Puddleducks for nearly 2 years now and I could not be happier. The team are brilliant with the children, diligent, kind and patient in their care but also very considered in the children's activities. He has come on leaps with his speech, his love of play and books and his diet. I
could not recommend Puddleducks to parents, who are looking for a nursery, more. My son is very content and happy when there, and I never have any concerns when he is in nursery.

My little boy has been in Puddleducks since April and I cannot recommend it enough!
The staff are fantastic with him, and he's come on leaps and bounds in development with their help. He's clearly very happy there and it helps soften the blow of leaving him in the nursery when I see pictures of him
there having a brilliant time with the staff and other children.
The communication with parents is fantastic from helpful tips on how to help your child with language development to giving updates on the developing childcare funding initiatives in Northern Ireland.

They are so good at what they do! They gave me enough time for my child to settle down and made him feel second home. He feels so secure to be around them, he has never been away from us still he prefers to go there every day. They give so many updates about the kids' growth, achievements and milestones
which is super helpful for parents. They also find the child's interest and encourage them towards it. The app is very helpful in every possible way! I absolutely recommend anyone to trust and choose Puddleducks.

My daughter (1 year old) has just started attending Puddleducks. Being a first-time Mom, leaving her was not at all easy. But the staff at Puddleducks made the settling much smoother for both myself and my baby. They were very approachable and friendly since the nursery tour. Settling in sessions were
very useful. They are very proactive in letting us know how my baby is doing there by sending us messages, videos and photos which I love the most. Puddleducks was recommended by my friends who had sent their kids there and I can now do the same for anyone who needs good care for their baby.

I utilise Puddleducks as a back-up facility for my child when her usual childcare is unavailable, and Puddleducks always make my child's experience a great one. The staff are always welcoming and my child settles really well as a result even though it is not her usual childcare facility.
I've used
Puddleducks many times in the last two years and have always felt like my child is well cared for and has a great experience while she is there. It is always a positive when we arrive and the staff recognise my child as she does not attend regularly.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.876)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.876) out of 10 for Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 18 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.926 for Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast is calculated as follows: ( (200 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 216 Ratings = 4.926
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.95 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast is based on 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.95
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 70 number of registered child places is 14, which has been reached with 18 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
