Dunblane Nature Kindergarten

All of my children have gone to DNK, my daughter is now at school, my middle child is in the bumblebee room and my youngest is in the rainbow room. I can't recommend DNK enough, from the care and attention given to each child to all of the fun, educational outdoor activities they do on a daily basis. All of my children have thrived. Leah, in the rainbow room has been the perfect key worker for our little boy, he absolutely adores her and she has brought out the best in him, she's so attentive to his personality and just gets him. Linzi, in the bumblebee room was our daughter's key worker and is the same for our middle child. He absolutely adores her and feels very safe in her care. She's always thinking of new ways to challenge him academically and spends so much time with him. I can't thank DNK enough as without them our children wouldn't be the confident, caring little people they are today, thank you

my son attends DNK once a week and has loved his time there, the girls are great and are so nurturing and attentive to my child's individual needs! The girls in the sunbeams especially! He always comes home happy when he attends the nursery and always looks forward to going in.

We are so glad we chose DNK for our boy, the staff all seem so lovely and allow children to thrive!

Would 10/10 recommend DNK as a fantastic nursery.

Our son started at DNK in August 2025, in the Bumblebee room! We were greeted with such warmth and friendliness by the staff. Our son has loved attending nursery, his speech has developed so nicely and he has made amazing friends along the way. We are always given informative updates on our son and feel he is given so many opportunities to learn, grow and express himself in all the interactive play and lessons!

DNK have been wonderful in welcoming our family to the area, making a huge, stressful transition from England to Dunblane a lot easier. Management have been so flexible and understanding of our situation which has been so helpful. The staff are caring, knowledgeable, and brilliant with the children, and really lovely to interact with, thoughtfully updating us on how our son is doing (particularly after difficult drop offs!). He's beginning to settle well, helped enormously by the stimulating environment and the amazing opportunities for outdoor play. I'd really recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

Lyla moved to DNK in August last year so we could be closer to home. When we first moved I was worried she wouldn't settle or find the change too challenging due to being happy in her previous nursery. From the moment I reached out to the nursery for more information, I've had nothing but reassurance and filled with confidence that I was making the right decision. Within the first week of doing settle sessions, I knew this was the best place for both Lyla and myself. She settled in amazingly as if she had been there from day dot and built such strong relationships with Mia and the other staff in the baby room. Lyla is now in the Sunflower room and I couldn't be happier or prouder of how much she has come on in every aspect of her development thanks to the incredible care and support from Leah and all the team. She waves bye bye every morning without a second of hesitation, it's like a home from home for her. I can't thank DNK & all the staff enough for everything they do for my family!

We're really happy with the care they provide and would definitely recommend this nursery.

They do so many lovely activities with them and they get outdoors as much as possible which is great. Any issues or fears I have are listened to and addressed promptly and with compassion. Please keep doing what your doing - your amazing and should be told that more often.

Both my daughters have been attending DNK and it has been the best experience for them! All staff are lovely and show such a great care and love to children they support. You can feel that the work is driven by passion!

Absolutely brilliant nursery. Staff take so much care to engage with the children and communicate with parents at pick up and drop off. The activities provided are amazing and my sin loves going. Thank you for taking such good care of him!

My daughter has been attending DNK since October 2025. We had a big move from Cornwall up to Scotland and the team were brilliant in helping her settle in at what must have been a big transition for her. She had trouble moving rooms in her previous nursery but here she seemed to settle very quickly and I think thats down to how great the staff are. They've been great at taking her lead on developmental areas she's going through and she's made really strong bonds with all the staff and many of the children in the pre-school room. We really rate the space and outdoor learning whether at nursery or the walks and forest school she goes to. I would recommend the setting to anyone :-)

The team at Dunblane Nature Kindergarten have been so wonderful! They have been caring, accommodating and flexible right from the very beginning. We are so happy our son has settled so well. Thank you!

He now absolutely loves going to nursery trotting in on his own with a big smile and waving bye bye. I have noticed his development come on leaps and bounds with eating independently, speech, walking etc. The staff are great at keeping me informed as to what they've been up to, eaten, slept everyday. I am so happy I chose this nursery as it has made going back to work much easier knowing my child is having a nice time and is in an environment that he is thriving in.

We were new to Dunblane Nature Kindergarten as of 2025. The three Nursery Practitioners have been fantastic in helping my little boy and I with settling in. He has only been on full days for 3 weeks but I am already seeing his confidence grow. Excellent staff, healthy food and lots of play and learning both in and outdoors.

I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful care and attention my child receives at Dunblane Nature Kindergarten. From our first initial visit it was clear that the staff is passionate about nurturing and educating the children. The environment is warm, welcoming, and safe, with a variety of activities that keep my child engaged and excited to learn each day. The staff are incredibly caring, always taking the time to provide attention to each child's needs. I appreciate how they maintain open communication with parents, keeping us informed about our child's progress and any special moments. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their little ones.

Child has been going to Dunblane Nature Nursery for nearly a year and has had a great time during their time with them. Staff are always receptive and helped resolve an issue where my child was missing their friends as they aged out of the younger groups, so let him head up earlier, which has been great for his development. Play environments are also full of fun and they have a great exposure to play and activities outside the room which is fun to see. The amount of information we get from them is also useful, and help with dietary problems has helped. Did have some issues with communication earlier on and access to systems, but all gets resolved in good time.

Our son joined the nursery aged 1 in August 2024. He struggled with separation anxiety but the staff made loads of extra effort to help him settle. Now he absolutely loves nursery and toddles in barely noticing we're leaving. The leaders in the sunbeam room are always doing extra activities and changing the room to make sure it feels new and fun. I am so happy with our choice to send our son to DNK.

The team are kind, caring and dedicated to the children's happiness, wellbeing and welfare. I feel happy dropping off my child each Day knowing he will be safe and properly cared for by care workers who have genuine affection for the wee ones.

Our little boy attends Dunblane Nature Kindergarten (rainbows) twice a week and absolutely loves it.

He has come on leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and just as a wee character since starting here nearly 2 years ago.

The biggest selling point for me is the outdoor focused play and learning. Our little boy absolutely thrives in this environment and it's a pleasure and joy to watch through Instagram updates.

The girls are so attentive and kind with all of the little ones and they always make time for a chat with the parents at drop off/pick ups.

Lovely bunch of staff and a fabulous nursery that we can't wait to introduce to our newest addition to the family!
