Situated in the heart of the Edwinstowe community, on the edge of Sherwood Forest is Cherubs Edwinstowe. Cherubs Edwinstowe has been providing high quality early years care and education for children since March 2019. Spread across 2 floors, 3 age-appropriate rooms and with a Baby Garden and large outdoor space for children to enjoy - this nursery really does tick all the boxes. The nursery prides itself on its community links and was shortlisted for Community Nursery of the Year in the Nursery Management Today Awards (2020).

Their approach to early years, inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School has been reflected in the look and feel of the nursery and translated into the broad and ambitious curriculum for children. Children’s learning is planned and tracked using Blossom Educational software - and parents are encouraged to be part of their child’s nursery experience by downloading the parent’s app.

Cherubs Edwinstowe is an all-inclusive early years provider, fees are inclusive of:
1. Biodegradable nappies and wipes - from Kit and Kin
2. Sun Cream
3. Healthy snacks and meals
4. Amazing extra-curricular activities including Forest School, sports coach and baking/cookery sessions

Children and their families are central to everything at Cherubs Nurseries. To support parent partnership, the nursery has its own Family Room. Here parents are encouraged to get together with other families, meet with the nursery team and even work from the nursery. Every morning parents can also get a tea or coffee to go - making those early drop offs a little easier!

Excellent staff- diligent, conscientious and thoroughly dedicated. Their hard work has made a huge contribution to our son's development over the last two years. Clare, Jo, Lyndsey and Joy are excellent teachers. Highly recommended.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Our son found starting nursery difficult but the team were amazing building bonds with him an reassuring us. He now loves nursery and excitedly tells us about his day. He has learned so much and I love the structured curriculum - it was important for
me that he was learning while being cared for. There are some lovely extras included as standard like sport coaching and a good nursery community. Would 100% recommend!

Our girls have been attending Cherubs since being 9 months old and are now four. They absolutely love coming and enjoying telling us when they get home all the fun things they have done. All the staff are lovely and go over and above for each child they look after. I really would recommend this nursery
to anyone it is fabulous!

Cherubs is a lovely attentive nursery and they have been very supportive of myself and my son. He really enjoys coming to nursery and his development has come on loads since starting especially his speech and social skills. Really happy with their service and all the brilliant staff.

Cherubs have been wonderful with our daughter. She always wants to go to nursery & loves every second. Staff communicate any issues well & are responsive to the needs of the child & views of parents. Our daughter initially struggled with sleep but staff worked with us as parents to problem solve. She
eats so well & comes home a tired but content girl. Always updates on lots of activities - especially arts & crafts.

My daughter has loved her first month at Cherubs Edwinstowe. The staff have made her feel so loved and comfortable, she settled in so quickly thanks to their attentiveness. They provide loads of updates throughout the day to keep me at ease about how she's doing, and I get to see all the different activities
she gets up to. These activities have really helped with her schedule, sleep and development too which is such a big benefit. My daughter always comes to pick up presentable, happy and excited which confirms that they really look after her. I couldn't be happier with our experience so far at Cherubs Edwinstowe.

My daughter really enjoys her time at nursery, we have seen an improvement in her development. We receive daily picture updates so we can see the diverse range of different activities. We love Cherubs nursery and are so grateful for all of the amazing staff members.

My little girl thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery, and I have loved to see her thrive. The staff are all so lovely at Edwinstowe and she talks about them all so fondly. Staff are attentive and friendly, and I feel my little girl is safe and in good hands.

Leaving my child at Cherubs is like leaving him with family. The team are so great. The Manager Sarah is so knowledgeable and professional. The early years educators have a challenging and tiring job but they have a great energy and the nursery does loads of extras. My son had thrived there. They keep
up to date on the app really well and they do great observations on his progress. Its always daunting taking your child to nursery you want them to be cared for and happy and cherubs definitely provides that and is worth every penny. The chef is brilliant too, she makes a variety of food and my sons seems to be enjoying the food. Highly recommend Cherubs Edwinstowe.

Cherubs was very adaptable to our requests and was very happy with the progress our child had made so far. Our child is always happy to see the staff and in pictures had when we pick them up they are always in good spirits.

My child has been attending the nursery since June 2025 and we are extremely happy with our experience. When she first started she didn't speak any English, but the transition went smoothly thanks to the incredible support from the staff. Both my daughter and I were given so much are, especially during
the first few weeks when she would cry. The team was always there to reassure making us feel welcome and supported. A big thank you to all the staff for your kindness and professionalism.

Both my children have attended Cherubs's for a couple of years each since 2021. They have absolutely thrived at this nursery. The staff are attentive, caring and nurturing. I have seen my children's confidence grow, their social, physical and emotional skills develop and they thrive in a nursery environment.
The nursery has great resources, including indoor and outdoor and has recently had a lovely refurb. The menus are excellent and the updates we get through nursery in a box are fantastic. We are given regular observations,reports and opportunity to sit down with staff at a parents evening to discuss my child. All of which relate to the EYFS curriculum meaning they are ready for school when this comes round.
