Hazel Tree Montessori

Both my children have attended this nursery. My youngest is currently in class three. I always get a warm reception off any member off staff on arrival and collection many of them who have been there for many years. The warm friendly clean environment enables our little boy to feel safe and thrive in all areas of his development. He is happy and enjoys the lovely meals. The daily diary updates and messenger enables me to see his exciting day. Trips to the local park and exciting activity's such as creepy crawly's coming into the nursery is just outstanding. You really do go above and beyond thank you for looking after the most precious people in our lives.

We honestly couldn't be happier with the nursery. The staff are so caring and supportive, and the communication is always great. On my daughters first day they even gave me a telephone update to reassure me of how she was getting on and settling. We love seeing her smiley face doing all the different activities in the app. It's been amazing to see how much our daughter has grown in confidence and how many new skills she's picked up.

A wonderful, highly recommended nursery! The staff are professional, friendly, and so caring. They have truly supported my sons ongoing development every step of the way, and he loves going every single day.

We're really happy with this nursery. We like the Montessori-style approach to learning, which encourages the children to develop their independence and learn at their own pace. The staff are lovely and create a nurturing environment, with a good variety of seasonal activities throughout the year.

Since joining, our son has come on leaps and bounds, particularly with his confidence and independence. It's been lovely to see his development, and he's always asking to go to nursery, which is a great sign that he enjoys his time there.

We absolutely love Hazel Tree Montessori Nursery. The environment is such a clean and inviting space, the activities are well rounded and they even give similar activities for us to create at home if we choose. The children spend lots of time outdoors and if there is poor weather they bring the outdoors in. The food is healthy and balanced and well loved by both our children and it changes seasonally which is really nice touch. All the girls are caring, kind and wonderful teachers. My children love them all and I go to work knowing they'll have the best day!

My daughter has been at Hazel Tree since she was 10 months old and we are have been so reassured and impressed by the care she receives! Every member of staff knows her by name and they all seem genuinely fond of her (which is unsurprising as she is a top-tier baby!). We love how enthusiastically staff recount her day when we pick her up and how they are excited to tell us about any new developmental milestones or funny things she has done. We also love the detailed updates we receive via the app with photos and descriptions of what Sophie has been up to.

The breadth of activities she enjoys is amazing and she eats very well at nursery!

Despite all this, the single thing that has impressed us most about Hazel Tree is the fact that all the staff seem so happy and to genuinely love their job and the children they look after. They care deeply about my daughter and enjoy looking after her, and I don't think we could ask for more than this from a nursery!

Daughter has been attending for 2 years this month, and in that time we have become fully convinced that this is the best possible environment for her to learn and grow as a little person. From the early 'settling-in' days right up to the present, she has received an exceptional level of care from all the staff and genuinely looks forward to each day. Timely updates on her day to day activities via the app which show us what she's been up to (and a rotating seasonal food menu which I'm genuinely jealous to be not eating myself). Also, the apparent ease with which she warms to newer staff members (and chats about them at home) highlights the quality of the ongoing recruitment to bolster the top notch roster of practitioners and behind the scenes colleagues. Can not recommend the nursery enough.

Both of my daughters attend Hazel Tree Nursery and I couldn't recommend enough the staff and the management are amazing you can see clearly how much they care for the children and how much they prepare to make every child's experience one of a kind. My girls are always happy to attend and have made such great progress with only doing two days a week, I know they feel comfortable expressing themselves! I feel very lucky that I found such an incredible nursery.

Our daughter has been through 4 classes at Hazel Tree. She loves her time there and always has lots to tell us when she gets home. The staff always have time to talk to parents and form great relationships with the children. We love the Montessori approach and that children are exposed to new ideas and activities regularly.

We've always felt well looked after as a family the staff are open and responsive.

I have a two year old at Hazel Tree, and my eldest four year old has recently graduated pre school here. This nursery feels like family to us and we have been so impressed with the level of care they have given both our boys. I highly recommend this nursery. My four year old was so well prepared to start school after his time at Hazel Tree. It was incredible to watch him blossom from a shy toddler to a confident and independent school ready little boy. The team are so lovely, and you can just tell that the staff are really happy in their workplace. Thank you for everything Hazel Tree.

His class teachers always give me a very detailed handover at the end of the day which I really appreciate. I receive regular reports which give me up to date information about his development and helpful tips and strategies to further promote his learning. I also really enjoy attending the parents evenings and learning more about him in the classroom setting.

Great nursery amazing staff out little boy always leaves with a smile perfect place for your little one to grow and learn many aspects of education and skills ,they do great healthy meals and trips to the park great place !

Our daughter has been at the nursery for a few months now, and she has grown as a little person so much with the help, teaching and support from the nursery. Our daughter always looks forward to her days at the nursery and that is down to the friendly, warm, attentive and interactive staff that work there. The nursery is always clean, well-maintained and safe for the children, which always gives me positive piece of mind when dropping her off.

From the moment we were given a tour around the place, it was love at first sight. I didn't even have to visit any other nurseries to be sure. It was obviously nerve wracking when the day finally came to drop my baby off at her first settling in session but I needn't have been. The staff are all amazing and put you completely at ease. They go above and beyond to communicate, answering any questions I have. The babies have a good amount of time outside, either in the buggy or in the garden space, which isn't huge but it's enough for them and well thought out. The food is great and her milk allergy is well catered for. The activities are fun and creative and even one activity was set up to be personalised to her cultural roots, which was so lovely. I feel she is safe and most of all I can see her big cheeky grin on her face when she is there. She shows her true personality there and that says a lot. I wouldn't want her anywhere else. An excellent nursery.

My daughter started Hazel Tree in January this year and we have been so incredibly impressed by the nursery as a whole and the whole team there! All the staff seem to genuinely love what they do and the children they look after. She now gets excited when she wakes up and it's a nursery day, and she sings the staff member's names as we walk there together in the mornings. I love the updates they give us throughout the day and how hard they all work together as a team to put on new and exciting activities for all the children. We honestly couldn't be happier with the nursery and I've recommended it to a lot of my friends! Very happy!

My son currently attends Hazel Tree and my daughter previously attended before leaving for school. From greetings at the door, to activities that they do, city sports, nativities, family days, parents evening, transitions into different rooms, support with Speech and Language everything is just amazing. All the staff are so welcoming, caring and professional. Most of all my children are and have been extremely happy at this nursery..We couldn't have found a better nursery for our children!

My little boy has been attending Hazel Tree for a few months now and I couldn't be happier with the nursery. I feel so fortunate to have found it and so grateful to everyone there for helping him to settle in so well and making his days so enjoyable. It's clear he adores his time at nursery and I'm always so impressed by the range of thoughtful and engaging activities he does each day!
