We love Raphael nursery! Both my boys go (went) there ans we are very happy with the nursery. I particularly like the ambiance of the nursery, small, close and friendly. All staff are responsible, professional, and caring. It becomes a small, united community with kids, families and staff, which is
really great for children development. Bi-lingual environment is also a big plus. I was recommended by a friend a couple of years ago for my big boy and I have since then recommended several friends to choose Raphael as well! Last point, food is super healthy! Never fries, fried chicken etc! Chef was great, and you can see the healthy French eating culture is embedded in everyday diets.

Our daughter attended Raphael Nursery between March 2025 and December 2025 when was just eight months old, and we couldn't be happier to see the little person she developed into in such a short period of time. Initially we were worried as she was shy and had separation anxiety, but the team in the Caterpillars
room was so tender, attentive to her needs and patient that in a short period of time, she was thriving and enjoying her time at the nursery. In fact, she used to be excited in the mornings to hear that she was going to the nursery. Even as she moved from one room to another, we could see that she was always in good hands, was safe and happy. We unfortunately had to cut her time at the nursery short as we moved an hour away from it, but would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone considering it.

Raphael Nursery is fantastic. My son has attended since he was 9 months old and will continue until he goes to school, and my younger son will attend soon.
The staff care deeply about the children, independence is highly prized, and the app provides regular updates. High-quality home-cooked food is
prepared onsite, whereas most nurseries bring in ready meals.
Activities are varied and include going to the playground, cooking, and looking after animals (e.g., guinea pigs).
The bilingual aspect is awesome, but don't worry if you don't speak French; it's a great nursery otherwise. Your child will not be negatively impacted. Plenty of the parents are monolingual.

All three of my children attended Raphael nursery from the age of one. With three kids under age of 3 and both parents working full time, having a reliable and loving nursery where our children can thrive was critical and Raphael was everything we could hope for. During the 3 years our children attended,
they had a structured learning plan designed for their age of development, daily bilingual exposure to French and English language and most importantly staff that care about the children and passionate of what they do. One of kids has special development needs, his key person Nada was exceptional. She used a patient and personal approach catering to his needs and successfully potty trained our boy. Nursery manager, Silvia, goes above and beyond to support the development of our children and the process of SEN referral for our son. Thank you Raphael. We will miss you.

We have been beyond impressed since our daughter started at Raphael's in September. The staff are all so kind, positive and caring towards the children giving them all the love and attention little children need. Our daughter runs down the corridor with excitement.
Everyday there are so many planned
activities for her to engage in and she's developed so much as a result.
The food she is given is varied and nutritious and I love that they all sit at little tables and chairs to eat even in the baby room. Her independence has come on leaps and bounds including her ability to use cutlery!
The nursery staff even organises events for parents to meet and recently did a little Christmas show which involved even the babies. We're so lucky we found this nursery and I couldn't recommend it more. Thank you for everything you do.

Raphael Nursery has been an absolutely exceptional, nurturing environment for my son. He attended for a year and a half, and leaving has truly been heartbreaking - he loved every moment of his time there. The nursery has a beautiful sense of calm and grounding that was incredibly important to us as
a family. Every single member of staff is warm, patient, and genuinely caring, and it is clear how deeply they care about the children. The impact they have had on my son's confidence, happiness, and development has been remarkable. Silvia, the manager, is outstanding. She is always approachable, open to feedback, and consistently goes above and beyond to support both children and parents. From day one, the entire team has been nothing short of fantastic. We feel so grateful to have been part of the Raphael Nursery community and honestly could not recommend it highly enough.

We moved our son from another Clapham nursery to Raphael shortly after he turned 3. Our experience has been fantastic; my partner and I truly believe he is receiving the best care available. We are thrilled with his overall experience and with the level of communication/feedback we receive about his
development. This is truly a special place - every member of staff is warm and nurturing. Moreover, the bilingual aspect of the program means our son is receiving an enhanced learning experience. Additionally, Raphael has helped him further develop social-emotional skills like sharing, patience, and considering others as well as developmental skills such as independence, following directions, and letter recognition. Curiosity and creativity are encouraged. Celie was also a miracle worker and helped him go from nappies to fully potty trained in less than a week! Our son loves the meals, and we appreciate the variety of food and how nutritious the meals are. Great fellow parents, too! 10/10

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Raphael Nursery, Hammersmith. Our son Robin has been attending since he was just 6 months old, and over the last 18 months we've seen him grow into a confident, curious, and wonderfully happy little boy.
As French parents living in London, the bilingual
aspect was especially important for us, and Raphael Nursery has exceeded our expectations. The staff integrate language so naturally into daily activities, and it's been amazing to see how comfortable Robin has become in both English and French.
The team is truly exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They take the time to understand each child's personality and needs, and we've always felt fully reassured that Robin is in the best hands. The daily updates, photos, and thoughtful activities have been such a joy for us as parents.

Both our kids have spent years at the nursery, and there isn't a single day they don't want to go.
The key persons who have been in charge of them have always been outstanding, establishing a strong nurturing bond with them and supporting them in their development.
The most important thing for me
was the bilingual aspect of the nursery, being the lone French speaker at home. The key persons (and the nursery staff as a whole) have honestly over-delivered on that point, providing a solid source of French in their lives and really developing their skills. It is not rare for me to discover that my kid has learned new words which do not come from me. And they typically learn words and concepts in both languages simultaneously thanks to the morning/afternoon activities.

Words can't express how grateful we are to Raphael's nursery. Our daughter had an awful experience at another nursery and we were so worried about our precious baby going somewhere else. We needn't have worried as under Raphaël's staff care, she has blossomed into the most wonderful little human, full
of imagination and curious and loving life! The staff have been nothing short of phenomenal at every stage of her development, we have felt that she is genuinely cared for and nothing is more important than that! The opportunities afforded to her, be that singing, dancing, reading, creative play, are just awe inspiring. Finally 2 things that are very important to me are food and languages and she is supremely well taken care of in both! The fact she eats almost everything we put in front of her, is in no small way thanks to the wonderful range of food she gets at nursery. The fact that I get some sentences with German, French and English words thrown in makes me very happy indeed.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful bilingual English-French nursery! My daughter has attended since she was one year old, and at 3.5 she still walks in smiling every morning. The staff are warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in each child's wellbeing. The bilingual environment has been
incredible - she's picked up French so naturally through songs, stories, and everyday play.
She has grown in confidence, independence, and curiosity thanks to the stimulating, creative activities and the nurturing atmosphere the team create every day. Communication is excellent, management are caring and fabulous, and I always feel she is in the safest, kindest hands.
We are so grateful for the love and stability this nursery has given our family. I couldn't recommend it more!

My husband and I couldn't speak highly enough about Raphael Nursery. My daughter started at 1 years old and was there through to starting school last year and my son is now in the Pre-School room having also started at 1 years old, so we have been Raphael parents for over 5 years! Right from the beginning
we were confident that we had chosen the right nursery for our children as the staff are unbelievably caring, supportive and nurturing. As well as starting to learn another language, our children are confident, kind, social and excellent communicators, thanks to their time at Raphael.

Very warm French-English nursery. My son has been attending this nursery for almost a year, and we absolutely love Raphael nursery. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Raphael Nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in our daughter's development and wellbeing. Both of my children attended Raphael nursery from the age of 10 months through to when they started at school and it was the best choice we ever made sending them there. We cannot rate Raphael Nursery highly enough, and would recommend it to any parent looking for a safe and stimulating childcare environment. Both our 1 year old and 3 year old attended the nursery. The staff are very kind and patient with the children, creating a caring and considerate environment for
the children to evolve in. There is a lot of time taken to give personal and in-person feedback on each child at the end of the day, which gives parents a lot of reassurance in how their child is growing, learning and living with their peers. There was a lot of room for indoor activities but also outdoor play and the children were taken out to the local park nearby regularly (in good weather). Communication was always swift and easy, and every effort was made to make us feel welcome straight from the start. We are very grateful to everyone at Raphael Nursery for their care and dedication.
