Overall Experience

Clearly Kids is run as a business, the management are not receptive or responsive to concerns raised about children, in particular with regards to safeguarding. They do not discuss concerns with you and their responses are hostile and do not investigate the issues raised. In our experience (4 years)

the children are not given individual care or attention and the failure stems from management level. I had to remove my child after a series of serious incidents over a period of time. Very poor and disappointing.

Overall Experience

Our little one joiney around September 2023 and has been in this amazing nursery ever since. She has grown in confidence and character by each month, and I can't thank the staff enough for nurturing and helping her on this journey.
Each room is well equipped and has loads of educational and fun material,

they do arts and crafts, loafs of singing, playing, role play, outdoors play - regardless of weather, which is amazing!
The daily tracker offers peace of mind, overall developmental review and photos of what our child has been up to that day. Lunch is cooked at the nursery, fresh and nutritional, with snacks always having some fruit & veg.
Staff always go above and beyond, nothing is too much for them, I know I can trust them with my child.
I can't recommend Little Gems enough!

Overall Experience

My daughter has attended here from 10 months old and is now nearly 3. She loves nursery and the staff are always so good with her and she runs to get in when we arrive.
The management are always there to help and door is always open.

I have seen my daughter build strong bonds with the staff and

it makes me feel so much better about leaving her when I go to work.

My daughter has been attending first steps now for around 5 months, it was difficult for me to leave my child as she is my first but the girls at first steps couldn't have been better! They were so supportive of not only me but my daughter! They made us both feel so welcome and helped us relax into

this new routine.
The girls really provide a person centred approach in my opinion for each child- ensuring they are doing anything they can to make life easier for them- it is very clear that the staff there really care about each child. My daughter loves going in to see to see the girls and goes to them with open arms! Staff from all around the building are so friendly, chatty and caring. The staff show such a positive attitude everyday and are so thoughtful- I couldn't ask for better girls to care for my daughter

Overall Experience

First, 4 out of 5 is actually harsh, 4.8 is much more appropriate! There is just one small thing that irks me.
Overall, the staff are fantastic, so engaging, my son actually taps on the glass of the door to come in in the mornings. He's happy, well fed and, well rested with lovely touches like father's

day or Christmas cards.
My son started at c9months and is now 18months old and thriving. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining Little Gems and we couldn't recommend the nursery enough.
My one and only bugbear is the buggy storage. There are other bulky items in the shed which greatly reduce the capacity and each Monday I have to move bags of dry cleaning to make room for the pram. It is so petty of me to even mention it, but with it being an offer, more could be done to ensure sufficient pram space is available.

Overall Experience

My daughter moved to Little Gems in Summer 2025 as she was starting Pre-School in September. The staff are all wonderful, and she absolutely loves it. They do a range of activities each day, have outings and parties, and are excellent at keeping parents informed. I'm so pleased that we made the move.

First Steps has been brilliant, our son loves going to the toddler room two days per week. The daycare have great ladies who care for the children, it was daunting sending ur first and only child somewhere but he has so much fun. His development with speech, colours, numbers and nursery rhymes has come

along amazingly and I have the girls in the daycare to thank. We have the app which shows us all the great activities he gets involved in daily from art to baking and outdoor play. It's been the best place for our son while we are at work. Thank you ladies

Overall Experience

We are always recommending First Steps to anyone who asks.
All of the staff are so friendly and caring and our children absolute love going to daycare.
The care and attention that the staff provide is clear every day and they're always able to give a thorough run down of our kids' days at pick up.

It provides great reassurance knowing our kids are being so well looked after whenever we're at work.

Overall Experience

We are so happy with kids@bt9. Our youngest is in the nursery and he loves it. The staff are great with him and he is so well looked after. He loves going in! The staff are great at keeping us updated via the app and when we collect him.

Our eldest is in the preschool. The staff are amazing at encouraging

independence and getting the kids ready for school. He absolutely loves going to preschool! The staff are so friendly and helpful and always keep us updated on how he's getting on. We have also loved all the extra activities that they put on- the big bedtime read, the daily mile, the stay and play session, the nativity and all the outings they arrange!

We feel that kids@bt9 is so well run and are so grateful for the care they give both our boys! Thank you! And we would 100% recommend to friends and family :).

My daughter has been at Holly House since she was 10 months old. She is just about to turn 3 and she loves it there. The staff work tirelessly to care for all of the children's needs and make plenty of time for fun and developmental activities. My husband and I feel so content, knowing that our wee

girl is so happy and so well cared for there. We can't praise all the staff enough! They all know her name, even staff from other rooms or who don't work directly with the children. To me, that really shows the ethos of the nursery - the children are central to all that they do. Also a quick note about the food - my daughter eats like a queen! The food provides a varied, nutritious diet. My daughter will eat most things, but I think the menu caters to children with plainer tastes too.

Overall Experience

My son started Clearly Kids when he was 6 months old in the baby room. As any Mummy knows, it was extremely hard to leave him while I went back to work. The ladies in the room were absolutely fantastic and worked hard to ensure he settled in after a few weeks. Over two years later he has moved through

the Wobbler room and is now in the Toddler room. He talks about all the staff in the room all the time like they are family. Nursery has been fantastic for his social skills and he loves all his friends. The experiences and play they organise daily for the children are excellent and he likes the food better at nursery than he does at home! I couldn't recommend Clearly enough. Thank you to Barbara, Zoey and all the team.

Overall Experience

The staff at Greendale have all been so welcoming to my son and I trust that he is very well cared for, and cared about as a result. They have a genuine interest in his personality development and milestones and have been very reassuring when he has been unwell. My son appears to love spending time

at nursery and has bonded with all of the staff. Management were so easy to work with in terms of settling in and induction and they too are very friendly and welcoming. We are delighted with our choice in Greendale.

Overall Experience

Holly House has been the best nursery I could have asked for for my son. They have gone above and beyond what I would have expected a nursery to do for the children, and the kind gestures they do to show appreciation for their parents as well as the children has always really been such a lovely touch.

My son has been with them since he was a baby and he's had a blast in the preschool room in particular. Holly House have been so good at giving them trips and fun experiences, again which I never would have expected. The activities and projects they do are teaching the little ones so much and in such a fun and exciting way. As a parent, I love the layout of the rooms - they're so spacious, clean and it has a really homely feel. All the children get on so well with other too. Everything Holly House has done for my son could not be more appreciated by us. We will truly miss everyone when my son starts preschool in September. Holly House are the best!
