Every single morning my daughter wakes up and asks, "Am I going to nursery today?" - even on weekends! That alone says everything.
She adores her nursery. She loves the environment, the activities, her friends, and especially the incredible staff who make her feel so loved, safe, and happy.
It truly feels like her second home.
Seeing how excited she is to go every day gives me complete peace of mind as a parent. Choosing this nursery was one of the best decisions we've ever made, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you for making my child so happy!

Our daughter started attending nursery in September 2025 and the difference in her is amazing. The lovely ladies running Marlborough Day Nursery are so creative, thoughtful kind, they have made our daughters experience a dream. Their facilities are very good, lots of creative learning, a hall for physical
activities and events, sensory support and their kitchen provides a great variety and supports dietary needs. I can't recommend them enough, we are thrilled with our daughters experience.
Reply from Jodie Hill, Officer in Charge at Marlborough Day NurseryThank you for such lovely feedback. We are so pleased to hear how positively your daughter has settled and progressed since starting with us. Thank you for your recommendation; it means a great deal to us.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are absolutely wonderful-kind, patient, and genuinely caring toward every child. It's clear how much effort they put into creating a safe, nurturing, and happy environment. Our child has settled so well, and it's incredibly reassuring to see how supported
and encouraged they are each day. Communication with parents is excellent, and the team always goes above and beyond. We feel very lucky to have such a fantastic group of people looking after our child and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

Marlborough day nursery exceeded in our expectations in all way. They are truly working towards each and every child's confidence and learning new things. We are grateful to all the wonderful teachers. Especially Joe worked hard even during heavy snow day but she managed to come and take care of the
kids in nursery.

I am very happy with my son's nursery experience. He has learned many new songs and often sings them confidently at home, which shows how engaged and comfortable he feels in the setting. He enjoys the daily routine, which has helped him feel secure and settled.

The staff are extremely kind, patient,

and supportive, and they always make him feel welcomed and cared for. Their positive attitude and encouragement have helped him grow in confidence and enjoyment of learning.

I truly appreciate the nurturing environment the nursery provides and the dedication of the staff in supporting my child's development.

Our little boy started nursery here a couple of weeks ago and has had the best time! We've had a few tears at drop off, but the staff have been fantastic at building a relationship and settling him down. The menu offered is fantastic, with amazing range for young ones to try, and the activities that
they are being offered each day are so good for their development.

I couldnt recommend Marlborough Day enough, I sent my boy here and now my little girl attends 3 times a week. I have never encountered any issues and the care they provide is outstanding throughout. She is always excited to go and see her friends and the staff alike. I often needed extra sessions for
my boy and they were always accommodating to this also.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. It is such a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment, and it's clear how much care and thought goes into everything they do. The staff are always polite, professional, and genuinely interested in each child as an individual. My son absolutely loves coming here,
which says more than anything.
One thing we truly appreciate is how respectful and inclusive the nursery is of all religions, cultures, and backgrounds. They always check with us first before involving him in activities that aren't Islamic, such as Christmas celebrations, and they happily provide alternative options so he never feels left out. The same care is shown with food choices-if there is anything we prefer him not to have, they accommodate this without any issue.
It really feels like a partnership with the parents, and we are always listened to and respected. Knowing our son is in such safe, caring hands gives us complete peace of mind.
Reply from Lisa Mayes, Officer in Charge at Marlborough Day NurseryThank you for such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. Creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child and family feels respected and valued is extremely important to us, so your feedback about our approach to culture, religion, and partnership with parents truly means a lot. We are grateful for your trust and are delighted that your son is happy, settled, and thriving with us.

The best nursery ever!
This nursery has been amazing for my son. He has learned so much and enjoys every day there. The staff are fantastic, kind, and very attentive to the children's needs. Communication is excellent-they always update me about how his day went, what he ate, and what activities he
did. I feel confident knowing my child is safe, happy, and well looked after.

When my children first started at Marlborough Day Nursery, neither of them could speak English. As a parent, this was very scary and emotional for me. I was worried they would feel lost, lonely, or misunderstood.

But from the very beginning, the staff made us feel safe, welcome, and supported. They

showed so much patience, kindness, and understanding. Step by step, my children gained confidence, learned to communicate, and started to feel happy and secure.

Today, I can see how much my son enjoys coming here. He smiles, talks more, and feels confident - and that means everything to me as a mother.

This nursery is not just a place where children are looked after. It is a place where they are truly cared for, encouraged, and helped to grow.

I will always be grateful for everything you have done for my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Reply from Jodie Hill, Officer in Charge at Marlborough Day NurseryThank you so much for sharing your experience. We understand how daunting it can feel when children are starting nursery without speaking English, and we are so pleased that we were able to support your family during this important transition.

Seeing your children grow in confidence, communication, and happiness is exactly why we do what we do. Your kind words about our care, patience, and support mean so much to our team. Thank you for trusting us with your children; it has been a privilege to be part of their journey.

My daughter has been attending Marlborough Day Nursery for 4 months and I couldn't be happier. The staff in Baby Room 1 are all phenomenal and treat her so well. Although they encourage her, they do not force her to take part in activities and allow her to go at her own pace.
I also appreciate that
they often break into smaller groups to go to the sensory room of soft play.
When I pick her up, there is good communication about what she has done during the day, and the feedback often mirrors her behaviour at home so I have full trust in their honesty.
I would recommend Marlborough Day Nursery to anyone.

Marlborough Day Nursery What a fantastic Nursery! Was our first choice for Our Child to attend to start her journey of learning and playing without Mama and Daddy present. We are more than happy with how Our Child is progressing. In my findings The Staff are fantastic they always go above and beyond

Since my daughter started nursery here at just 6 months old she hasn't cried once when dropped off, she loves going and all the staff are absolutely brilliant. She is now nearly 3 and thriving in this great environment. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable, but so friendly and caring at

My child attends this nursery two days a week and all of the staff across the nursery are so friendly. My child is in the baby room and two of their staff members are just the best. They are so friendly and lovely! The quality of care given to the children when young, the aid in learning and development as they grow, the variety of activities (especially time spent outside exploring all year round), the quality of the food and the safety and warmth the children feel are second

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.788)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.788) out of 10 for Marlborough Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 21 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 21 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.980 for Marlborough Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (247 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 252 Ratings = 4.98
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.808 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Marlborough Day Nursery is based on 21 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 130 number of registered child places is 26. 21 Positive Reviews ÷ 26 = 0.808
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
