I am so grateful for all the care and support that my sons have received over the past few years at Chapelfield Day Nursery.
The staff are engaged in their play based learning, I am so impressed by all the activities they do. The activities are fun, creative, educational and allow them to experiment
and learn.
I really appreciate the online updates and photos that we receive, as well as the performances that we get invited to.
My 3 year old son talks about his key worker often and runs up to her to greet her, showing the bond he has with her. These bonds are crucial to his learning and confidence within this setting.
I can't recommend this nursery enough.

Both of my children have attended this wonderful nursery and truly thrived in its caring, nurturing environment.
The staff are warm, attentive and have a way of making every child feel special. My children have very different personalities and have always been seen, and treated, as individuals with
their own unique needs.
The nursery has often gone beyond my expectations, providing additional experiences such as special visitors and trips, which have left my children with some very positive memories.
My son transitioned to school confidently, thanks in large part to the preparation Chapelfield provided, and I have every confidence the same will be true for my daughter.
Communication with parents is excellent, giving real peace of mind. It's easy to speak to someone if you have any concerns and I'm always left reassured.
I am very grateful for the outstanding care my children have received and would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Both my daughters have attended Chapelfield, and out 18 month old is still there. We can recommend Chapelfield enough. The staff are the main reason, all so lovely and they really do care for all the children, and make each of them feel special. Settling in for both our daughters went really well, and
they loved going in each day. We were sad when our eldest left to go to school but happy to be back with our youngest. The management team are organised, helpful and clear with their communication, and the food is great we have even added some of Chef Dan's recipes to our home menu. We can't recommend Chapelfield enough and are so happy our girls have had, and are still having, that experience.

I cannot praise this nursery highly enough. Both my children have additional needs and the support we have received has been truly amazing. The eldest is now at school and I have no doubt his time at Chapelfield contributed massively to him doing so well now. My daughter is developing well and receiving
such loving and dedicated care I have no doubt she will benefit hugely too. Thank you to all the team at Chapelfield - you deserve to be recognized as a truly outstanding care provider.

Our daughter has been here from around 10 months old, and has progressed through 3 of the available classes at Chapelfield. Each and every step has been truly fantastic, with supportive and kind staff who all appear to adore the children they look after and genuinely enjoy their jobs.
Our daughter
clearly enjoys her time here, and is learning and developing so much. The activities are varied and creative, and the volume of info and updates verbally and via the app keep us informed as parents.
This is our first nursery experience, however from conversations with friends at other nurseries I believe the care offered is particularly outstanding. They are also flexible in terms of sickness and availability, which is incredibly helpful as busy working parents, i.e. will give medication and allow children to remain at nursery with common childhood illnesses which we are very grateful for.
5 stars thankyou

Our son has thrived at Trowse Nursery. It is clear how much kindness, hard work and commitment goes in this level of high quality care from how happy and settled he has been since he started. As parents, we feel listened to and the communication is excellent. His speech and language support has been
approached with skill and enthusiasm, meaning he has made amazing progress. His key worker is wonderful, as are all the staff, because they really get to know your child as an individual. They are patient, caring and highly skilled. We couldn't have been happier that we chose Chapelfield.

I looked at a lot of nurseries before enrolling my daughter, I wanted to find a place that had a lovely environment but mainly somewhere that felt truly nurturing and child-centric. The team at Trowse were the only nursery that directly addressed my daughter during a lot of the visit and it has certainly
lived up to the expectation! It is an incredibly nurturing, warm and friendly place where staff are on hand for parent and child in a professional, knowledgeable manner, but also with the kindness and understanding you would hope them to have. My daughter always looks forward to going, even on the days she doesn't go! I feel like she is safe, listened to and understood while she is there and i couldn't be happier i chose it.

The staff at Chapelfield are absolutely brilliant. All of my daughter's key workers have been amazing and really known and understood her needs. Every member of staff in each of the age rooms has been brilliant.
Chapelfield recognises areas my daughter has been struggling by and supports that and
also champions the things she's good at / or enjoys.
The office staff are great at keeping everyone organised and parents informed.
I really can't rate the nursery enough.

Where to start. When I think about the last three years with CCDN I genuinely struggle to find the words.
The nursery has felt like an extension of our family, as with any family there have been moments that are wonderful and hard and magical and deeply transformative. Through it all the team have
been steady, thoughtful and endlessly caring.
My child has had the best possible start here. The care is truly individualised, not only in how they support the children but also in how they work alongside parents and respond to the needs of each family. I have always felt listened to, included and supported.
The love, patience and attention they give to every child is something very special. I have a happy, content, curious and inquisitive three and a half year old and I know that is because of the way the team have parented alongside me and walked beside my child during these formative years.
CCDN is not just a nursery. It is a community and I will always be grateful for our time here.
Reply from Emmy Byrne, Managing Director at Chapelfield Children's Day NurseryThank you so much for such a thoughtful and heartfelt message. Reading reflections like this means the world to our whole team.
It has been such a privilege to be part of your child's early years and seeing children grow into happy, curious and confident little people is exactly why we do what we do, and it is incredibly special to know that you have felt supported and included along the way.
Your kind words about the care, patience and dedication of the team will mean so much to them. We truly do strive to create a nurturing community where children and families feel valued, listened to and at home.
Thank you for trusting us with such an important chapter of your child's life. We are so grateful to have had your family as part of the CCDN family.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have our child attending this nursery. It is a warm, nurturing environment where children are truly valued and encouraged to thrive. The staff are exceptionally supportive and caring. Every team member takes the time to understand each child as an individual, helping
them feel safe, confident, and happy. Their patience, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm create a space where children are excited to learn and grow. What really stands out is the nursery's commitment to setting children up for success - not only for school, but for life. Through thoughtfully planned activities and play-based learning, they build strong foundations in communication, independence, and social. We couldn't recommend this nursery more highly to any family looking for a supportive, nurturing and inspiring start for their child. Particular shout out to Clare, Sarah, Emma and Katrina.

Outstanding service from every single member of staff. We feel so lucky to have got our daughter in here. The location is amazingly convenient and the provision the staff provide is exceptional. We're always a bit sad when our daughter leaves one key person and changes room only to find that we like
the next one just as much.

My eldest daughter went to this nursery a couple of years ago in which she thrived in this nursery setting. The staff on Trowse site were kind, caring and professional in every way possible. She underwent surgery which meant she was off for a short period of time, they went above and beyond supporting
her not only while recovering at home but also when she returned to nursery. Huge shout out to Clare and the girls over at that site.
My youngest is currently at the city nursery and has been since Jan 2025. She is thriving and enjoys going each day. The communication between staff and us has been nothing but amazing. They have helped her in more ways than I could ever explain. We look forward to watch her flourish during her time at this nursery. All staff in both settings that we have had communication with are truly phenomenal. Huge shout out to Angel, Chloe, Courtney and Helen in JB's room. Along with office staff Sara and Emmy who have been incredibly helpful. Thank you

Our daughter is thriving at Chapelfield - she is always so happy to go in in the mornings and talks to us a lot about all the things she's done at nursery, about the staff and about her friends. From what she says it's clear she loves nursery and there's a really positive environment in the room. The
baby and toddler rooms where she was before were also fantastic. All the staff are incredibly warm, caring and dedicated, and communication is excellent. They know our daughter very well and plan wonderful activities for her individually and for all the children as a group. We love the stay and plays they organise so parents can come in and visit. The management team are also absolutely brilliant! Chapelfield feels like a family and we feel lucky to be able to send our daughter here after sending our son a few years ago - he loved it too and still asks to go back! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery and can't thank the staff enough for looking after our children so well.
Reply from Emmy Byrne, Managing Director at Chapelfield Children's Day NurseryWe're delighted to hear how happy your daughter is at nursery and how much she enjoys her time with us. Knowing that she feels safe, supported and excited to come in each day is exactly what we hope for every child. It's also lovely to hear that she enjoys sharing her experiences, friends and activities with you at home.
Your kind words about our staff and the environment they create are greatly appreciated. Our team work very hard to build strong relationships with the children and families, and it's so rewarding to know that this is felt and valued.
It's especially special for us to have been part of both your children's early years journeys. Hearing that your son still asks to come back really made us smile!
Thank you again for your trust, support and recommendation - we feel very lucky to have your family as part of the Chapelfield family.

My daughter attends the trowse branch, we joined in August after being on a long waiting list. I had debated whether it would be worth the wait and it absolutely was. The care, attention to detail and innovative activity plan is unreal, my daughter loves going! It's a fantastic setting where they really
make the most of their environment , weather and kids interests. Clare the office manager is a joy to deal with and the retention of staff shows it's a lovely setting for kids and staff! Martina the chef is fantastic, with my daughter regularly telling me martinas foods nicer.
Reply from Emmy Byrne, Managing Director at Chapelfield Children's Day NurseryThank you so much for your wonderful review! We truly appreciate your kind words and support. It really encourages us, especially knowing how long our waiting lists can be. Feedback like yours reassures us that the wait is worthwhile. I'll be sure to share your compliments with Clare - she truly is fantastic at what she does, and everyone holds her in high regard. Martina will also be thrilled to hear your praise, as she is very passionate about providing healthy and delicious meals for the children.

A setting that goes above and beyond our expectations. Our daughter is thriving at her nursery. The setting is warm, friendly and inviting. As parents we enjoy how communicative, individualised and child focused the setting is. All of the staff are approachable, kind, attentive and fun and our experience
of the management team, Clare in particular, has been outstanding. They provide lots of different experiences and learning opportunities. The preparation
for the transition to school does not compare with other settings we have had experienced.

We are extremely happy with our baby's experience at Chapelfield, he has really thrived and become noticeably more confident and outgoing since starting there. All the Jellybabes team are fantastic but we have to give a special shout out to his key worker Chloe who has been so caring and loving from
day one! She always notices small details of his day/behaviour to share with us which really means a lot. I can tell that they have a really special bond which is so lovely to see and is so reassuring as a parent

My son started in Jellybabes at the beginning of the year and is absolutely loving it. Within just a few days it became clear that the staff already knew him so well, and the settling in process was handled so carefully for both me and him. He already loves going to nursery and I feel such relief returning
to work and knowing that he's happy and cared for. They've also dealt very carefully with his dairy allergy and he always has something delicious and dairy free to eat. Thank you Chapelfield!

All the children at Chapelfield get the most amazing start to their education. Everyone of the staff is an absolute gem who provide the most nurturing environement for learning. Every day has a different learning theme where the kids do the most creative things from donkey visits, trips around Norwich
to 'spa days' to learn all about mental health. They have their own chef, it's spotlessly clean and just feels so nice to hang out in even for me as a parent! We parents can't believe how lucky we are.

(1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 48 number of registered child places is 9.6, which has been reached with 43 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
