Essendene is a wonderful school with amazing and hard working staff who care about the children's happiness, growth and safety.
After moving to Essendene our son blossomed into a funny, happy and content little boy who loves playing with his friends. As an anxious Mum, I felt completely secure with the safety of the nursery and the staff who are genuinely loving and caring towards the children, as all nurseries should be.

My son improved in all areas. Especially with his extreme fussiness when it came to food, I believe Essendene allowed him to not only be himself, but gave him the confidence to do so. He genuinely loves his teachers and his friends, and is always so excited to go to school.

Overall Experience

Our daughter is always very happy when she goes to this nursery. She enjoys her time there and comes home with a smile every day. The staff are very kind, friendly and welcoming, and they always make us feel comfortable. They are caring, patient and clearly know how to work with young children. Whenever we have a question, they are always happy to help and give us support. The nursery has a warm, safe and homely atmosphere, which is very important to us. We are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend this nursery to other families.

We are so pleased with this preschool nursery. The staff are caring, friendly, and always go above and beyond to make the children feel happy and supported. We've seen our child grow in confidence and develop so many new skills since joining. The learning activities are engaging and fun, and communication with parents is excellent. My son joined The Study at 3, to help him get ready for a school environment. He has flourished there and feels so ready for 'big school' in September as a result of their hard work!

Communication is fab, and the staff are lovely- they have worked hard to build relationships with parents as well as the children. My son has been so happy there, and we have too.

My son has been with nursery for a bout 5 months. He is living it. He wasn't sure at first but quickly became happy when seeing nursery.
Staff is friendly and easy to talk to.
Sometime there's a struggle to park at peak times.
The only thing that bothers me is that their term times are slightly different to majority of schools and nurseries.

Little Rooks is simply phenomenal. My son has been enrolled since 8 months old and loves attending. The staff are attentive, every day telling me what he's been up to, and get genuinely excited when he reaches new milestones.

As a first time mum, sending a young child to daycare, I really couldn't be happy or more reassured by their care for him.

Our daughter has attended since Feb 2025. Attends full time. We have high expectations as her father attended the same location. We are very happy/satisfied with every aspect of the study. We are kept updated of daily activities. We really love the team there and so does our daughter and we also have met some lovely parents along the way.

We absolutely love Study Nursery. Although we've only been here for three months, both my son and I have had such a positive experience.
The teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and loving. They have taken wonderful care of our son and helped him settle in so quickly. He genuinely looks forward to going to nursery every morning, and when I pick him up, he's always wearing the biggest smile.
I also really appreciate how well-structured the learning approach is, even for such young children. The activities are thoughtfully planned and support their development in a fun and engaging way. Another thing we love is how the nursery actively involves parents through regular activities and events, making us feel like part of the community.

We couldn't be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Study Nursery to any family looking for a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for their child.

We are so grateful for everything Kiran has done for our son, Yuvi, since he started at the nursery. From day one, she has been incredibly kind, supportive, and understanding, not only with Yuvi but with us as parents too.
Kiran has taken the time to really understand Yuvi's individual needs and always keeps us informed about his learning and development. She is thorough, patient, and genuinely cares about helping him grow and thrive. Thanks to her, Yuvi has built such a wonderful bond with her, and it's clear how happy and comfortable he feels in her care.
As a parent, I found the transition of leaving Yuvi at nursery quite emotional, but Kiran's reassurance, kindness, and support made such a difference. Seeing him now walk in with a smile and happily wave goodbye is something I never imagined would happen so quickly, and I truly believe that's because of the safe, caring environment she has created for him.

After reviewing a few nurseries for my little one. I was very nervous however when I visited derby grammer little oaks I was out at ease and rest assured was immensely happy with the warm welcome I received from staff and mgt team. Once my little one had settled in I received regular updates on how my little one was getting on and also the activities my little one was doing. I am so happy I chose little oaks.

Overall Experience
We couldn't be happier with our experience at this nursery. Since starting, our child has come on so much in every aspect of her development. Her language, confidence and social skills have grown tremendously, and she often comes home saying or doing things that genuinely surprise us. It's lovely to see how much she has learned, not just academically but also in terms of independence, kindness and good manners.

The team are always friendly, approachable and quick to respond whenever we have a question or need support. We feel listened to and know our child is in safe, caring hands. We also really appreciate the healthy and varied menu. It's clear that a great deal of care goes into every aspect of the nursery.

Overall Experience

We are very happy with our nursery - from baby room to the second steps rooms. The staff are incredibly caring, kind and genuinely invested in each child's happiness, development and education. It's clear that they truly love what they do and that shines through every day.

They consistently go the extra mile to make each day engaging and memorable with a wonderful variety of creative activities and special experiences. We also love how much they make use of Richmond Park, giving the children plenty of opportunities to explore nature and enjoy the outdoors. They also have a big garden so kids play outdoor every day.
The range of activities on offer is fantastic, from Spanish lessons, ballet to tennis and so much more. Both of our daughters (1 and 4 years old) love going in every day, they both have grown in confidence and learned so much.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a nurturing, inspiring and supportive environment for both of them.

I cannot recommend Little Rooks enough. My son started there in September 2024 and he has been thriving! Everyone, from the nursery manager to staff members, deeply care about the children and their wellbeing!

The nursery is very clean, food is fresh and of good nutritional value as they have a chef on site and the grounds are lovely!

We couldn't be happier with Little Rooks since our son joined in April. He has settled in incredibly well and absolutely loves going each week which is a testament to the extremely caring and supportive staff. The room sizes are nice and small, with a ratio of approx 3:1 childeren to staff which really appealed to us, and the rooms themselves are kitted out really nicely, alongside plenty of time spent outdoors when it's dry.
As parents of a child with a severe medical condition, finding the right nursery was really important to us. The team at Little Rooks have been fantastic in understanding his medical needs, ensuring they are well trained and giving us complete confidence that he is safe and well cared for.

Communication is excellent, with regular updates and friendly conversations at drop-off and pick-up, so we always feel informed and involved. We would highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a caring, professional and supportive environment for their child.

We brought our three year old into the nursery for full time support and childcare for one term only as he was transitioning following a move from Putney. The team here are fantastic. He has been learning so much and made lots of friends. They are supportive and caring and make room for individual needs. I couldn't recommend orchard Kingston highly enough. We are about to have our third and already planning on having him here.

All 3 of our boys have attended Walton Montessori and we have always been happy with the care that they have recieved. All the boys thrived and when it came to leaving, we felt that they were well prepared for the transition to school. Our twins were well supported and each was nurtured to be their own person. The nursery listened to our views about them being in separate classes to prepare them for school and were able to accommodate that for us. We've never had any problems with the nursery and were always happy to send our boys there.
