Overall Experience

The staff are amazing, they build good relationships with parents and most importantly the children. Great choice of messy play, crafts, outside play available every day. My little one loves coming here and I feel safe sending her here. Management are also really helpful and approachable and hands on.

I'm so glad we chose Hopscotch.

Overall, a fantastic journey for my daughter. My daughter started at Hopscotch Nursery in May last year, and since then, it has been a truly positive experience for both her and us. From the very beginning, the staff were caring, attentive, and patient, which helped her settle in comfortably. Over time,

she has grown very fond of her carers and formed lovely friendships, which is evident in her excitement and enthusiasm every morning when going to nursery. As parents, we have seen remarkable progress in her confidence, social skills, and overall development. The variety of activities offered, both indoors and outdoors, has played a significant role in supporting her growth and curiosity. We appreciate the outdoor play space and the opportunity for children to engage with nature regularly. I am extremely pleased with her progress and grateful to the Hopscotch team for providing such a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 8 months old and is due to leave in September for school. She has loved her time at Hopscotch and still gets excited to go in every morning. She speaks so fondly of all the practitioners in preschool and loves to tell me about her day every evening.

I feel that her key worker was a perfect fit for my daughter and matches her energy perfectly, it's clear that they have a wonderful bond and my daughter adores her. Anything we're focussing on at home has been followed through within the nursery without needing to ask for support in these areas. The management team are active and visible throughout the setting and it's evident they have good understanding of the children as individuals. I couldn't ask for a better team of people to trust with my daughter everyday, knowing she is safe and happy when at the nursery.

E has settled in beautifully. The staff are warm and friendly. I always feel reassured that she's in the best possible care.
Im kept up to date with any concerns or issues. They also manage to nail nap times which has always been a struggle so that alone deserves a stars!

Our twins have been going to Hopscotch for the last year, and overall I am incredibly happy with the support and engagement from staff. They call or message me if there's any slight issue or concerns, and do take any concerns seriously. The twins absolutely love it there and are such happy, social and

clever little cookies, all with the help of the Hopscotch staff who are understandably a huge part of their lives.

Overall Experience

I am extremely happy with this nursery. The staff are fab and it feels like they genuinely have a great relationship with my child, he always comes home happy and excited to go into nursery. He has especially thrived in the preschool room where he has an excellent key worker who tailors activities to

his learning and development needs. I am happy with the communication from management around my child's needs and at times there has been situations I've requested more conversations and explanations around, and they have been more than happy to do that to ensure both me and my child are happy there.
Overall I will be sad to see my child leave this year and would absolutely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at hopscotch Gosport for almost 2 years now. It is a very nurturing and loving environment where my daughter has thrived, I love seeing her come home with new skills that have been taught by some of the wonderful staff, there isn't anywhere I would rather my daughter be. She has

been from the Baby room and soon to be heading through to preschool. We have had some small issue, mostly to do with disorganisation amongst bags however we raised this concern to management who have worked hard to find the root cause of the problems and work with their staff to find a solution that leaves parents and their staff feeling happy. I am confident I can raise any issue and it will be listened too and resolved with care and professionalism. Since Georgia became manager she is constantly working to improve the environment in anyway possible, I see the nursery growing into something even better than it has been before.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been going to Gosport Hopscotch since she was 10 months old, now 4 and leaving this year.
Her key worker works very hard with all her progress stages and keeps me updated with things to work on if anything.
The nursery app is a great way to quickly check what she has eaten in the day

and regularly updated throughout the day.
Always very quick with accident forms and phone calls which I really can't fault.
And if for any reason a member of staff didn't managed to see what happened it's always checked on CCTV, which is a massive plus side for me.
My child's safety and wellbeing is very precious to me. So I'm very grateful for this to be in place.
My daughter enjoys going in everyday and always talks about her day which is a great sign.

This is definitely where I can leave my son with peace of mind, although in the beginning we struggled so much with separation issues during drop off but the staff are there to support you and help you what's best for the child and the parents. The app really helps as well to stay connected and updated

We moved nursery for a number of reasons and we are so glad we did. Obviously moving a 2 year old is quite mad but he just wasn't settling after moving into toddlers at his old nursery. He is a very emotive boy and still gets upset at drop off but we were expecting that, what we are so appreciative

of is how much thought and energy everyone at harbourside is putting into finding ways for our toddler to feel happy and safe. Can't fault any of the staff who are what makes the place so friendly and inviting. The facilities are lovely and they go out twice a day which is perfect for our energetic boy. Beach, haven, garden, rain or shine! Highly recommend a visit where you will just get that feeling. Plus a lovely cafe next door!

Just wow - what a fabulous nursery, from the location to activities to off-site adventures to the brilliant staff and of course the yummy meals and snacks. Overall Experience

Our daughter started at the nursery 4 months ago and they have been brilliant. As expected, she took a little while to settle in but the staff were wonderful at comforting her and distracting her with all the fun toys and activities. They quickly learned what she liked and that gave me great reassurance

that she would enjoy herself. The staff are also great at providing updates and sending messages to let us know she is having a good time and has settled well. I particularly love the outside space at the nursery and that our daughter gets to spend time playing in the garden most days. It's also lovely to see the different activities the children get to do, which is much more than we could offer at home. The same goes for the food, I love that our daughter is getting a good variety of food and gets to try new things that she might not otherwise get.
We're very pleased that we chose Hopscotch!

Its really important when leaving your child with people that you feel welcome, comfortable and that the environment is friendly. Since the day we entered this nursery, every person is always so friendly & kind, they know exactly who my son is speaking to him by name, even when not directly involved

in his care and despite the number of children and it feels like a great place to be. My little boy enjoys his time at nursery, playing in all the different areas, climbing up the soft play and thoroughly enjoys the fresh cook meals provided. Unfortunately we are moving house soon and will be leaving and to say im devastated to leave this setting is an understatement. My son has grown in confidence so much in his short time there, the care & curriculum is brilliant & im grateful for all Hopscotch have done for us.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. My son is always happy going in and comes home smiling, which says everything. The environment is warm, safe, and stimulating, and it's clear how much thought goes into the activities

My son has been at Hopscotch since it first opened in September 2024 and the staff dealt with all the changes so well from the get go with the setting being open and working around the new rooms getting ready. He has thrived since starting and has learnt so much, he is very social and enjoys going,

he eats lots of lovely food that we wouldn't usually have at home which is a bonus! I love that all of the staff in the setting know each child by name and will greet them no matter what they're doing. He started in the baby room and is now just moving to the preschool room and has loved all of the rooms. The gardens are lovely for development and ensuring all the children have something that is of their interests. We both love that they offer fruit daily as you are leaving the setting and he always picks something to take. He always comes out telling me something new he has done that day as the staff make sure there is a variety daily. The setting is very clean, warm and inviting.

My Daughter started Nursery in October 2025, we are now 3 months in and she absolutely loves it! I love how all the staff know her and acknowledge her even if they aren't in her room. They spend a lot of time outside in the garden (Any weather) together with all age groups which is fantastic. The garden

is massive and has so many things for them to do. The menu rotates and the food sounds delicious which my daughter seems to enjoy.
The Staff are so lovely and nurturing which as a mother who was very nervous about their child starting nursery is very reassuring.

My child has been at this Hopscotch setting for almost 3 years and I've only ever felt positive about their time here. The staff are incredible - patient, caring, and genuinely seem engaged with every child. The setting itself is lovely and there's always something for the children to do. Management

are great, engaged with the rooms and children, and responsive if I've needed to contact them. My child happily tells me about their day and often talks about their 'nursery adults' as well as their peer group. It's great to see them feel so comfortable outside of their home!
