In 2018, the nursery completed a refurbishment of all areas; creating a warm, unique and stimulating learning experience for all children.

The nursery is open full-time from 7.30am – 6.00pm caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.

At St Ives Nursery, trained, caring staff ensure children develop socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally.

The nursery provides children with nutritious home-cooked food each day.

At St Ives Nursery, children also take part in extra-curricular activities such as cookery, social trips outside the nursery and much more.

We had a great experience with St Ives Nursery. Our son started at 12 months old and was supported every step of the way, from settling in to moving through the different rooms. The staff are incredible-warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's development. He learned so much during his time
there and always came home happy and excited to share his day. The environment is nurturing, engaging, and well-organised, and the communication with parents is excellent. It was amazing to see how much he grew emotionally, socially, and intellectually while at the nursery. Sadly, we had to move away, otherwise we would have loved for him to stay until school age. We're so grateful for the care he received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Ives Nursery to any family looking for a supportive, high-quality early years setting.

All of the staff at the nursery are amazing, they are so supportive and kind. My child loves all of the people who work there.
Each child is respected as an individual and their needs and circumstances considered. The environment is so lovely, enriching but calm and homely as well. Children have a
good balance of freedom to choose what they would like to do and structured activities to help them learn. My child has learnt so much from being there, including social skills, potty training etc.
I would strongly recommend the nursery, I'm so glad my child goes there.

Highly recommend St Ives Nursery! They were wonderful in helping our 3yo settle into the preschool room after moving to the area. Our child has built wonderful relationships with the children, teachers and staff. She's thriving at nursery and well prepared for reception in September.
We also started
our youngest in the baby room and could not be happier. He receives so much love from not only his key teacher but all the staff. Returning to work was made so much easier knowing he was being spoilt at nursery. He is developing and blossoming at nursery.

St Ives Nursery is absolutely fantastic! I cannot express how much my two children have thrived and loved being at the nursery, with my son attending many years ago and my little girl still attending now until September 2025 when she will start school. Every day we are welcomed with smiles and cuddles
and my daughter has so much fun each and every day she goes to nursery. The staff members at the nursery provide a safe, loving and caring environment for the children where they can learn new, fun things, and flourish into smart, young, independent people ready for when they leave to start their adventure in school. We will be sad to leave when the time comes as over the years the staff members at the nursery become like a second family, truly caring about each child they have within the setting and I know my daughter will miss attending St Ives Nursery. All I can say is I would never send my child anywhere else because this really is the best setting I have come across. Thank you!

We moved here from a different part of the country, so the move was a big change for our son meeting so many new people all at once, but the team were so welcoming that he settled in almost immediately and has absolutely loved it ever since, he always loves being dropped off in the mornings. They are
always accommodating and help out where they can when life throws you something unexpected. The staff themselves are always very attentive and caring and he always has lots of nice things to say about them. They are a diverse bunch of interesting people and neither myself nor my son could be happier. Top marks, well done.

My daughter has attended this nursery for over 18 months now and has thrived here. On initially coming, the support from the staff helped her language increase at a rate I could never have predicted. She also immediately developed strong bonds with staff. She has continued these bonds and feels secure
approaching every member of staff. I would feel confident raising concerns if I had them and feel like my child's development is fully supported. They also provided great insights via the app on a regular basis.

Had 3 children gone through St Ives Nursery all starting from 1 year. They have been fantastic with them, including my twins, who they always treated as individuals. Staff became part of the family and worked with us as parents on various struggles over the years, including delayed toilet training,
speech and language, and sibling rivalry. They were approachable when things were difficult or I had questions, over the phone and in person, making time to meet me and agree on an approach. We were sad to move on to school and preschool as they had the best time there and had some very special relationships with children and adults.

A huge thank you to all the staff at St Ives Nursery for providing a safe, fun, caring and educational setting for my son who has been in attendance from 6 months until 4 years old. He enjoyed the wide range of activities on offer and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food options throughout the week!
The goodbye leavers party was just so precious and I'm sure I can speak for all parents that this was so well received and appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

The nursery is absolutely incredible. Our son joined in a very nervous and emotional state. The care, attention and empathy that the staff have shown to him (and us as parents) has been outstanding. We truly feel that every member of staff 'gets him.' This includes the management team who check in
and provide feedback too. The progress he has made in 10 months is incredible and he absolutely loves nursery. We are completely indebted to the staff and would like to place on record our thanks. A special mention for one staff member in particular who our son idolises, she has been incredible in the transitions between rooms and the fact she continues to stay aware of his development - she is an asset to the nursery. We'd also like to say a huge thank you to the whole pre-toddlers team who he adores too. You're all superb. The bond he has developed with his key worker is wonderful and incredibly reassuring. An absolutely amazing, family nursery.

St Ives Nursery has been amazing for my son while he has been going here. They have helped him grow and become more confident and independent, he has really come out of his shell. The staff are great and are willing to work with you to get the best outcomes for your child, they have gone above and beyond
with supporting my son with his walking and sleeping. The staff really get to understand what makes your child tick and know how to comfort them when needed. I will always be grateful for the start that they have given my son and I hope his next nursery is just as amazing as these guys are!

Our first child attended this setting from 7 months up to pre-school, and we've registered our second, which we feel is the best choice in the area.
The staff has always been responsive to our needs or concerns, from managing dietary requirements, and the use of reusable nappies and wipes, to our preferred
choice of cream. Food menus and indeed options are particularly good, which are shared regularly, when your child is being raised vegetarian or has intolerances this is a big tick. Frequent updates from the nursery are sent out, both in the form of email and through the app, on what the children have been learning and if there are any pictures to share. A range of activities are offered to the children, which are child-led, so having a choice in what they can do is brilliant. The nursery and its staff feel very nurturing, perhaps as a result of the courses they attend and also share with parents, which is fantastic! We especially loved the emotion coaching course.

My daughter has attended St Ives Nursery since 2021. She has spent three wonderful years there as she is due to start school this year. The staff are caring, committed and so kind. She thoroughly enjoys the activities and interaction with both the staff and the other children. There is a balanced mix
of educational and developmental learning all carried out through play and lots and lots of indoor and outdoor fun. The team work incredibly hard to ensure that the children are well cared for - meeting their individual needs as required. Thank you to the manager and the entire team. We'll both be so sad to leave the nursery in September.

My son has been with the nursery now for around 3 weeks and has settled in wonderfully. The staff are attentive, kind and friendly and are always willing to answer any questions and address any worries we have had. We're really happy with the experience so far and my son is happy and content with them.

My daughter absolutely loves the nursery. The staff are amazing and I feel so at ease knowing how safe and what a great time she is having! She loves all the play equipment they have outside too and her confidence has grown so much being at the nursery.

My son started at the nursery when he was one, right in the middle of Covid, and he went from strength to strength. He had three wonderful years there and is now thriving at school. The nursery is fab, and all the staff are just wonderful. My youngest son is due to start at the nursery in October this

My son absolutely loved it here, and all the staff were always so genuinely caring and very helpful. Nothing was ever too much or a burden. My son started in the baby room at six months, give or take, and left when he started reception year at age five. Staff also were very helpful and supportive for
both myself and my son, as his speech was slightly delayed. He was/is also very quiet and shy, but at nursery, he would feel comfortable with staff and his peers. He still talks about 'his' nursery when we drive past it. I can't thank the management and all the staff enough for the years of support, care and new skills my son learnt there. Thank you.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 18 months old, he is now 4! He has come on leaps and bounds with this nursery and has grown so much! The staff are incredible and nothing is too much for them! We will be sad to leave this nursery in September. The manager and the rest of the team are outstanding!

My daughter started nursery here when she was about a year and a half and I was so very nervous because she had never been away from me and also didn’t have a dummy or any comforting item to take with her. The nursery staff were amazing at contacting me to discuss all my concerns and explain how they’d
help accommodate a smooth transition for her. After her initial drop off they sent me photos of her playing about 10 minutes later! She’s been there for over a year now and absolutely loves it and really has taken so well to all the staff. You can tell the staff genuinely love their jobs and love kids and every day you can see the passion they have working with them. They’ve always helped accommodate if I need extra days or if I need to swap days around as best as possible. Overall I am so happy I chose this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery in or around St Ives.

Amazing staff and setting. Would highly recommend. My daughter settled there really easily, and staff were always on hand to help if there were any issues, whichever room she was in. We'll be sorry to leave!

This is just a truly wonderful setting where every child is nurtured and encouraged. My son is now in the preschool room, and the variety of activities is amazing. He is also quite quiet and finds it hard to settle, and the girls are beyond amazing - he is always welcomed with open arms (literally!),
and they are fabulous at understanding his character and meeting his needs. I just can't recommend the nursery highly enough.
