New Moon Nursery, Castleford

New Moon Nursery - Castleford has been a star and a game changer with our baby boy. The staff it's just brilliant, caring and lovely! We just moved to the area and they find a space for our little one and it's been an amazing journey. Can't thank them enough for the love and caring to our littile one.

We couldn't be happier with New Moon Nursery. The team are incredibly caring and attentive, and it's clear they genuinely take the time to get to know each child as an individual. They understand our daughter so well-her personality, her needs, and what helps her feel comfortable and confident-which gives us real peace of mind every day.

One of the things we appreciate most is how brilliantly they've handled her allergies. The staff are knowledgeable, careful, and proactive, always making sure she is safe while still fully included in everything. Their communication around this has been excellent, and we feel completely reassured knowing she is in such capable hands.

It's such a warm, nurturing environment, and we've seen our daughter grow in confidence and happiness since joining. We're so grateful to the whole team at New Moon for the love and care they show every day.

We couldn't speak more highly of New Moon if we tried. It has been the perfect environment for our child to learn and grow from being a baby. All of the staff genuinely care and are an absolute delight, management are present and know all of the children well. The setting is well thought out and has regularly changing activities and invitations to play. We receive regular updates home throughout the day and always have a good handover at pickup where the key worker has plenty of time to chat - it's never rushed.

My youngest son is currently on the pre-school floor and has been at New Moon since he was 13 months old. I know when I drop him off on a morning that he is safe and well loved, which puts my mind at ease whilst I'm at work. He leaves to go to school in September and we will really miss everyone at New Moon. I highly recommend New Moon to anyone with a baby or toddler, I wish my son could stay longer!

Our experience of New Moon has been nothing but amazing since our daughter started in the baby room in 2023. The staff are friendly and care so much about their jobs and through every room our daughter has been in that love and care has never faltered.

Home from home for my son, both my children have been to new moon since 9 months old and what a wonderful place it is! The staff are lovely and caring, and the children all have so much fun together.

My son has been attending New Moon nursery since the age of one. As a new parent I was extremely anxious for him entering an unfamiliar environment from such a young age however, the staff at New Moon could have not made the transition any easier, warm and welcoming. I immediately felt at ease with him being in their care. All the staff, environment and facilities are wonderful and New Moon has brought my son on in leaps and bounds with his development. He loves attending nursery! My second son starts in a few weeks time and I'm looking forward to him experiencing all of this too!

New Moon nursery is a lovely home from home setting for children to explore and develop whilst learning through play. It has a family oriented feel and it has been reassuring knowing I can drop my child off there on a morning worry free. My child has always been happy to go to the nursery and always comes home cheerful, which is a credit to the staff at the nursery.

Noah absolutely loves it at nursery and i love looking at all the pictures of him playing with different toys. All the staff are very approachable and kind, they always make me feel so comfortable leaving him.

Absolutely outstanding nursery, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and patient. Every single member of staff makes such an effort to get to know each child and it gives the children a really safe and comforting environment which we felt from the moment we first looked round. Our little boy has absolutely thrived at New Moon over the past 2 years, the care and support he has been given has been heart-warming and his key workers have always taken the time to really get to know his character and the way he works best. I would absolutely recommend New Moon to any parents looking for a safe, comforting and supportive environment for their little one to thrive.

My little girl loves to attend New Moon, all staff have made an effort to get to know her. Her key workers in all rooms have been fantastic, she has built great bonds with them they are supportive of all elements of learning and work with parents to ensure they focus on what you wish them to developmental. New Moon is a home from home environment whereby children feel at home and a sense of belonging, I am more than happy with the care my child receives.

My little boy moved to New Moon in January and the staff have been wonderful helping him to settle in, making small but meaningful adjustments to help him transition and in a very short time he has made strong connections with his staff. I am confident that my little boy is progressing well as we are informed at regular intervals of his progress. The activities they provide are wide raging and educational. We are delighted that would could get him a place here and how quickly he has settled in.

As a very anxious first time mum picking my son's nursery was very hard, but new moon made it easy my son has been part of the nursery for just over a year and he loves every day, he has developed so much and the staff are absolutely amazing always on hand to support us as parents and well as our son they have many events throughout the year that we can get involved in. We honestly just love new moon and would recommend them to anyone

My child has been at this nursery for 3 years now and they are incredible. They've helped us so much as a family as well as helping our child develop crucial skills as he grows. Every step of the way, they've helped him become the cheeky, clever, wonderful little boy that he is. His relationships with all the staff are just beautiful. He knows he can go to any of them with any issue, he talks about them at home and has such lovely stories every day that he comes home from nursery. He's potentially on the spectrum (ASD/ADHD) and nursery have helped us with referrals and generally helping him cope when he's struggling. They've been an amazing support network for us all through the time my son has been there and we couldn't have picked a better nursery. It's going to be a very emotional day when he leaves to go to school in September. There's so much love for this place, the people in it and everything they do for the kids. They truly do go above and beyond.

New Moon has been a fantastic nursery for my daughter since she started in 2023. She has grown in so many ways and absolutely loves the staff that she spends the day with. They have helped massively with toilet training and easing her into her new room. I'm so grateful for the updates I receive on the app and at handover time, plus getting information about special occasions in advance is wonderful for an organised parent. I couldn't think of anyone I would rather leave my daughter with! Thank you!

My little girl absolutely loves the nursery and the staff there. She has come on leaps and bounds with her speech. And her potty training over the last few months. Her key worker has made such a difference to her whole experience at nursery

I'd highly recommend New Moon to any parent. The staff are brilliant, my son left New Moon last year and now my daughter comes here. My children love the staff and my youngest child who goes here, she's coming on leaps and bounds because of the staff here at New Moon. They receive nutritious home cooked meals, they set up lovely activities and my children genuinely love to come here. The staff truly do care about the children and I can't recommend New Moon enough.

Overall, a lovely setting for little ones to spend their days growing and learning. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other parents.
