We offer funded and non-funded places.
Our FULL-TIME rate for non-funded children is ÂŁ6.85 per hour (minimum 4 full-days per week).
Our FULL-DAY rate for non-funded children is ÂŁ7.30 per hour.
All other sessions are charged at ÂŁ7.90 per hour.
A consumables charge applies to funded hours.
We offer a sibling discount on request.

Anne-Marie started at Jack and Jill Preschool in 1998 and took over as manager in 2005. She has done extensive training during her years at Jack and Jill Day Nursery gaining her level 3 and then continuing on to get her Foundation degree in Early Years Education, her BA(Hons) degree in Early Years Care and Education and then continuing on to Early Years Professional Status. Anne-Marie left a long career in Electrical Engineering to come and heat up Hot Cross Buns one day with her children and has been here ever since!
Anne-Marie is committed to providing quality care and education to all children and is valued by staff, children and parents. She has also completed a Level 2 Mental Health First Aider course, to support the well-being of the practitioners and the mental health of the setting.
Outside work Anne-Marie likes to travel, read, go walking and meet up with friends and family.
Sally started at Jack and Jill Preschool in 2006, shortly after her second child started at the nursery. Sally had previously worked in hotels and as a chef when she had decided the time was right to have a big change!
She loved working with the children and became interested in helping children with more complex needs, deciding to do lots of training around Special Educational Needs and eventually took over as the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator for the setting.
Sally took over as the Deputy Manager in 2015 and continues to champion children with Special Educational Needs becoming Dorset Inclusion Champion in 2018.
In her spare time, Sally enjoys Driving, Reading, walking and being with her family.
Candice Miller has been working at Jack and Jill Nursery since January 2018, she completed her level 2 qualification with us in that year and currently works in our baby room.
After a lot of hard work, Candice successfully completed her Level 3 qualification in 2021.
Victoria has been working for Jack and Jill Nursery for 7 years. She was the first apprentice that Jack
and Jill employed back in 2017. She is currently the Room Leader in the preschool room.
Victoria is currently studying for her Level 5 to become a Senior Early Years Practitioner.

Sarah Paterson has been working at Jack and Jill Nursery since 2017, prior to this she worked in a local school as a Primary Teacher. Sarah currently works with the children in the preschool room. Sarah is also our Maths Champion, she ensures that maths: numbers, shapes and measurements are celebrated throughout the nursery.
This may be through activities or ensuring that maths is used in the environment in general.
She is married with three children who attended Jack and Jill’s and when she is not working she enjoys spending time with them, reading books and walking with her dog.
Lauren Young has been working at Jack and Jill Nursery for five years. She is a Level 2 practitioner, currently working towards completing her Level 3 qualification. Lauren enjoys the creative side of her job, she is looking at the environmental impact of the nursery and how we can reduce our use of single-use plastics.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys scrapbooking, jewellery making and writing fiction stories!
Beth Jameson has been working at Jack and Jill Nursery since 2019. Although it feels longer she spent many staff training days here when she was younger, reading to the children and drawing pictures for them.
Beth has just completed her Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) and is the Ducklings room leader.
In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She has recently been enjoying a variety of sports including badminton and golf.
Beth Hand has been working at Jack and Jill Nursery since October 2020, she completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship with the nursery in March 2022.
She is currently working in the Hedgehogs room supporting the older children, but she has worked with each age group as part of her apprenticeship.
When she is not at work Beth loves to spend time with family and friends and travel to new places. Before joining Jack and Jill Nursery, she spent time in South-East Asia and Australia. In addition, she enjoys all Water Sports such as paddle boarding
