We currently have our second child attending AHS nursery. The staff are wonderful, always with a smile on their face. I feels reassured that my daughter is cared for, she loves going in and I get lots of updates with photos to show what an amazing variety of activities she gets up to such as finger
painting, getting outside daily and learning about different celebrations from around the world. The food is a very high standard. My eldest daughter often tells me how much she loved attending there too. I know that there is a real focus on the child's happiness but equally a lot of care and attention is paid to development.

Brilliant nursery setting for my current two year old. The staff are so attentive and caring and we couldn't ask for a more nurturing environment for our child. They promote independence and identify areas where they can further our child's development. The art is creative and the activities are always
well thought through to ensure fun and learning. We feel safe sending our child here and appreciate all the safeguarding measures that are put in place and feel that the whole process is transparent to parents.

My son moved to Abbots Hill when he was 2 after being at another local nursery. I have seen him really come out of his shell and he genuinely seems happy to be there. The staff are all wonderful and show that they care about the children. They helped him settle in and have been very supportive and patient
with him. I can't recommend this nursery enough, my anxiety of leaving my little boy has been put at ease.

Our son started at Abbots Hill in September after moving in to the area from another nursery and we've been so pleased with how well he's settled. The staff have been so attentive and caring from the start, really taking the time to get to know him and help him feel comfortable especially in those first
weeks.
They've also been really thoughtful and proactive when it comes to his health, making sure they're well prepared and keeping a close eye on things, which has given us a lot of reassurance.
We love the little updates about his day - hearing about his favourite books and what he's been up to. He's built some lovely relationships with the staff and other children and it's so nice to see.
The best thing is how excited he is to go in each day, he runs in to see the staff and his friends - he is so happy there.
We're really grateful to the whole team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery!

Our daughter started in October in Tiny Toes. From the very beginning, the team made us feel reassured and confident in leaving her in their care, which means so much to us as parents.
The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It's clear they love what they do.
Communication is excellent
- we're always kept well informed about her day and her progress, which gives us real peace of mind.
We feel incredibly grateful that she is part of such a nurturing environment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abbots Hill Nursery to other families.

Our son has been very happy at Abbots Hill Nursery since joining at 2 years old. The team have really looked after him and done everything to help him grow and flourish.
The staff ratios seem to be ample so the attention your child gets is ample, and the team seem happy in their work and very much
in control of the setting.
The facilities are great, well heated, clean and generally very well looked after. Its also worth mentioning that there is loads of green space within the grounds which is used regularly but the children.
Also if you looking at your child continuing at Abbots Hill the whole transition into reception is very smooth indeed.
We highly recommend this nursery.

Abbots Hill Nursery is absolutely amazing! it's the place where the staff not only look after the children during the day, making them feel safe and happy, but they also help children to develop as independent personalities, teaching them languages, exposing them to music including showing them how
classical music instruments should be used, teaching them about art and helping them to develop as well rounded individuals. The grounds are fantastic too, where the children are taken to the Woodland School to enjoy and appreciate the nature, they are taught about plants and animals and spend quite a lot of time outdoors running in fresh air. I cannot believe how lucky we are to have our child attend this nursery. An absolute gem!

Since my grandson joined AH nursery, over a year ago, I have continued to be most impressed with the nursery staff and the ethos they have created , indeed, continue to create, for the toddlers and young children in their care.
Their kindness, care ,patience , regard for safety and communication are
second to none.
I know that when I have dropped off my grandson he will have a happy and safe day at nursery and this is because the strengths and skills of the nursery team enable it- I am most grateful to them.
My grandson is flourishing so well there! Thank you!

Our daughter is currently in Abbots Hill Nursery. From the moment we first viewed the nursery, we knew it was the perfect place for her. The staff are attentive, kind, creative and approachable. The activities that my daughter tell me about each day are extraordinary and they have developed her gross
motor and language skills beyond what we could have imagined. Even something as stressful as potty training, was taken off our hands due to the hands on and experienced approach of the of the staff. I have been so impressed and I'm excited for baby no.2 to join this summer. Thank you all so much.

My daughter joined the nursery aged 3 after being with a childminder in a home setting, and I was a little anxious about her being in a bigger setting with more children and less communication between home and the nursery. I needn't have been! From day one I have been impressed with the friendly staff,
calm atmosphere and the level of care and communication shown by all the staff at the nursery. Often her interests are picked up on and activities are designed to extend her learning and play. My daughter settled in extremely quickly and is very happy there.

This is a fantastic nursery. My two children have attended since they were 8 months old and the staff in Tiny Toes are brilliant - approachable, friendly and reassuring. There are a wide variety of activities for children to be engaged with and they have developed so much in their time there. The food
is brilliant and not many nurseries have their own chef. The facilities and grounds are exceptional and I would 100% recommend this nursery to others.

My son has attended Abbot's Hill Nursery since he was 11 months old. He is now 2.5 years old. It is such a nurturing, caring and supportive environment and we genuinely could not fault anything. We love the incredible provision he has access to including the beautiful grounds. All the staff are exceptional
and my son has formed the most special relationships with the adults. I feel so lucky that he gets to attend such an outstanding nursery. My son runs down the path to nursery everyday and as a parent , nothing is better than seeing your child happy!

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.981) out of 10 for Abbot's Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.981 for Abbot's Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School is calculated as follows: ( (258 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 263 Ratings = 4.981
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Abbot's Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 65 number of registered child places is 13, which has been reached with 22 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
