My daughter started at St Arvans in July after spending 18 months at a different nursery. She was initially quite scared, due to how busy and loud it was (the old nursery was much smaller). The staff were brilliant at helping her settle in, taking time to be 1:1 with her when she needed comfort or to
be in the quieter sensory room. The staff have been really good at keeping us updated with her progress and achievements, using the app to send messages. We have plenty of opportunities to get feedback, with parents evenings and even invited for stay and play sessions to observe how the children interact at nursery. I love that the independence is encouraged by letting the children make their own breakfast and this makes it easier to get ready for nursery each day! The manager has a visible presence on site and seems to know the children well- she is very approachable. The whole experience of moving nursery has been made easier by all the staff, so I have no guilt now!

My daughter loves it at Little Trees St Arvans. The staff are all brilliant with her and helpful on drop-off/pick-up. Her key worker Alice is very thorough and keeps us updated on how she's doing, and has been quick to speak to us of there has ever been an accident or any other causes for concern. Our
daughter has really come out of her shell at the nursery recently and this is a testament to the staff and how they create a locely safe space for them. We've had no issues at all, everything is run professionally and I couldn't recommend it enough

My grandson is so happy at the nursery
He loves playing outside and is encouraged to do so. When I collect him,the staff are always so polite and informative about what sort of day he has had

The nursery has been brilliant with both of our children! The staff are friendly and always on hand to help and both our kids have absolutely loved being there. Would absolutely recommend the nursery.

Fabulous experience my 3 year old and 1 year old are looked after wonderfully, lots of outside play, messy play, water and sand play. They're well fed and both go in to nursery happily. Preschool team have a fantastic range of activities and go above and beyond for the children in their room.

The staff are excellent, they are very caring to the children, they communicate well to the parents, they show thorough planning and observation, they are dedicated to safety and they enhance the areas with fun and educational activities. The staff at Little Trees St Arvans are all absolutely lovely - so caring, attentive, and always welcoming. It's clear how much they genuinely care about children, and it shows in how happy and settled my son is every day. The range of activities they offer is fantastic-from creative arts to outdoor
play, cooking, and sensory activities, there's always something exciting for the children to do. My son always comes home smiling and full of stories about his day, which is reassuring as a parent. The communication from the nursery is also great. We've seen our son grow in confidence and happiness since he started. The St Arvans staff have made both my children feel welcome and supported from the very first day they joined. As a parent I am extremely happy with the frequency and breadth of feedback I receive about each child through the app - both on a day to day basis through the photos and 'Wow moments', and
through the more in-depth summaries I receive regarding our children's progress. The staff are the perfect balance of caring, supportive, and pragmatic while not being overly familiar with the children. Overall I am very pleased with the care my children receive from all the hard working staff. My children are so happy at nursery here!

My second child currently attends this nursery after my first child enjoyed it so much. The nursery is in a lovely setting which lends itself to outdoor play and learning. The staff go above and beyond for each child

Brilliant nursery staff, the care and attention they give our child is excellent, and they are always able to give a full update on how our child has been during the day. Huge range of activities are put on for the children, and they are taken outside to play almost every day (weather permitting). Great
updates through the app and lovely weekly round up posts so you can see what your kids have been up to.

Since starting at LT St Arvans my son's speech & language needs were flagged right away, a plan put in place and full transparency from the nursery regarding their concerns. They put us at ease right away with their attentiveness.


4 months on and my son is thriving. His speech has improved and his

confidence is undeniable. They have nurtured him and adapted surroundings to help him when he needs it.

We couldn't be happier with our child going to Little Trees St Arvans. The four individuals who care for our son do such an amazing job: they care for him, encourage him, provide fantastic opportunities and activities and have great communication. We know that when he attends nursery he is safe and
loved and as a parent that is all you want from a nursery setting in my opinion. I really feel they go above and beyond to ensure all the children in their care reach their full potential with any additional needs being met in collaboration with the parents.


Additionally the management team are now fantastic: again they have great communication, they are approachable, friendly, professional and helpful and I have full faith that they are leading the nursery setting with clear direction and purpose.


Finally, even members of staff who aren't in our son's room full time always welcome him with a big smile and kind words and lots of love. Again this means the world to us! Thank you!

When we moved to the area, our son struggled, but Little Trees did everything they could to help him settle and I cannot thank them enough. They genuinely care about every child and what interests them. They also make everything so much fun!

We moved our 3yo from another local setting which had good reviews but where, even after a year of going, often he was hysterical at the idea of going. Within a fortnight of starting at Little Trees, he was like a different child. The staff are well trained, creative and fun, they obviously love and
respect the children, the food served is nutritious and well portioned. Activities are great fun and the inside and outside spaces are well thought out, plentiful and well looked after. Overall I am so pleased we made the decision to move here and I readily recommend it to others considering a local setting

My daughter loves going to preschool and has been with Little Trees St Arvans since she was 11 months old. The staff really do go above and beyond to make sure she feels loved and cared for and they have helped with any spouts of separation anxiety in such a perfect way. The activities they put on are
fantastic and she has learnt so much, she always surprises me when she comes out with some Welsh phrases or songs!
The outdoor space in preschool is brilliant, an excellent space for free play and adventure.
Thank you for making my daughter's time with you so special, I know that she is safe and cared for.

My son has only been there for 1 week but what a difference in him already.
Can honestly say he seems a different child.
Happier, more outgoing, just great.

We were unhappy with the first nursery our daughter attended, and we decided to try Little Trees Day Nursery St Arvans after hearing so many positive stories. And we are so glad we did! Little Trees Day Nursery St Arvans is a wonderful setting for any child. My little one started there when she was three. I thought she would struggle as she had come from a much quieter setting but she fully embraced the staff and activities. All the staff are so supportive and really take the time
to get to know you as a parent and are fully knowledgeable of what goes on with your child during the day. The activities they create each day for them is insane! It makes me tired just seeing the pictures!

Moving my son here in October 2020 was the best decision! He's been through all age groups and is now in the pre-school group. I can honestly say at every stage, not only has he been fully supported and cared for, but so have we- the parents. It's rare to find an establishment these days that run so
well but still has that human/personal feel. The manager runs this place amazingly and clearly hires the right kind of teachers who genuinely care about the children and families. I've always felt totally confident dropping off my child, cannot fault this nursery and always highly recommend!

Her passion and dedication to early childhood education quickly shone through, leading her to Room Leader, then Deputy Manager, and now to her current role as Nursery Manager.


With a wealth of experience at each level, Sarah is deeply committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive.
Sarah loves seeing the children learn, grow and flourish within their environment and watching all of their individual journeys unfold. When not working Sarah enjoys spending time with her young family and going to the gym.
