Child 1st Solihull is a purpose built nursery that boasts a whole range of child friendly features; from under floor heating to the windows which go from floor to ceiling, from well-lit modern rooms, to there being no stairs and lots of changing and toilet areas.

The challenge was to ensure that the outdoors reflected the indoors and both are well resourced and run, with a team that really has developed an understanding of the needs of young children and aims to involve them at every level.

With access to the outdoors from every room and increasingly developing age appropriate environments both indoors and out makes Child 1st ideal for providing care and learning in an urban area.

This is the second setting my child has attended and I can say hands down it's the best nursery. Both management and staff are excellent with my child. They're all so hardworking and compassionate. A massive shout out to toddlers for all their efforts with my little girl, it all never goes unnoticed.
She's absolutely thriving since being apart of Child 1st Solihull x

We love this nursery. The staff is great, good communication, and they always keep us updated. Our daughter is simply thriving. In just a few months her speech has been improved to the point that she is able to communicate all her needs with us and she is just 19-months old and bilingual. All the girls
are very supportive and always ready to answer our questions. Thank you for making our daughter's first year of nursery such a great experience.

We absolutely love this nursery! My child has been attending since she was 1 years old and she has had such a wonderful experience. She really enjoys going to nursery and always has a big smile when I pick her up. The variety of snacks and meals is great, and we receive updates through the app. Throughout
the week, there are lots of exciting activities like Yoga and Jo Jingles which she looks forward to. It's a fantastic place for learning and fun! Fantastic nursery!

My daughter started in September 2024 and I was always worried about her going to nursery as she's no verible and only says few words at home. But since she's been going to child first she loves it . Every day she's attending the runs to the door and full of smiles when we drive past on her days she's
not attending . Lovely staff and super friendly . So happy with her progress so far .

My son started here in January, he's loved it, he's settled in perfectly and it's all down to the staff. The communication is great and all the staff are very welcoming. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

I was always unsure how my daughter would take going to nursery, but she loves it! She loves the staff, all the activities, and garden time. She only joined early January 2025 and her speech, independence and playing nicely has all grown. I also love that the staff keep us informed during the day via
the apps for food, toilet breaks, sleep and also that we're able to contact and check in at any given time.

Child 1st nursery in Solihull has surpassed all of our expectations. Our daughter's current key worker and the other girls in the baby room have been amazing with her. Not only has her key worker been very attentive with any enquiries we have regarding our little one, the key worker has always been
so thoughtful and caring, towards my little one and to me as her mother. I received a birthday card from my little one, handmade Christmas gifts and an endless amount of other pictures/drawings. These things are really important to parents! The management has also been brilliant with any minor issues we have ever had occur and have always ensured that we feel comfortable with any decisions made for our little one. Me and my partner love this nursery and do believe that we made the best decision by sending our daughter here. I've already recommended it to other friends of ours, without hesitation. Thank you girls for all of your hard work.

Outstanding nursery, including staff and features. My child has settled so well due to staff in preschool 2. Staff are friendly, welcoming and easy to approach. My child is always learning new things with different topics each week. A range of food and meals, which my child enjoys.

My son has been attending Child 1st Solihull for around a year now and I cannot stress enough how fantastic this place is. They keep us informed throughout the day via an app, which as a first-time-mom is so reassuring, especially when they first start attending.
The activities the staff provide for
the children exceed all of my expectations with visits from external organisations such as dance and yoga instructors. The staff are so personable and always happy to have a chat at pick up and drop off times. My son is so happy there and we couldn't have chosen a better nursery for him. Thank you.

Child 1st is a fantastic nursery. I have one child who's been there for almost a year and another that started in September both of them really enjoy nursery and speak so positively about the staff members. I can't thank the team in pre-school enough, two staff members in particular and especially my
child's key person, who always gives great observations showing me what my child's been doing, what they are learning, what's next to come and so on, my child's so comfortable and happy around them. As well as the team in toddlers and my sons key person, who again is always so friendly so informative, supportive and kind. Big thank you to them all for all their support especially two staff members in particular, who I've known for a long time, they're a real credit to the nursery and do such a wonderful job.

So happy I chose this nursery for my daughter. She has been at nursery now a little over a year and she has come on so much since attending! Staff are all lovely and supportive but even more so in the toddlers (my daughter's current room) she loves attending! I feel very at ease knowing she is happy
and content.

My daughter started of in babies at just 9 months, where she grew a lovely bond with all the girls but particularly her key person, she spent day in day out bonding with my child and making her first bit of time at nursery so amazing for both me and my child. She then went on to tots room where she
gained a really good connection with her new key worker. She would get really excited to go to nursery to see key key worker and all of her friends. Although her time was short in tots, her key worker still managed to gain the best bond with her. She's now in toddles and has really strong bonds with the staff and loves coming in to see her friends and get up to some fun stuff, she grew very close to her key person who she loves and has a really good bond with. She then went over to another member of staff's group and has really made such a good bond with the other staff member in the short while she's been in her group. The staff are all amazing throughout the nursery and I can't wait to send my new little girl here.

Child 1st has been amazing with the looking after and development of my son. With his autism diagnosis, they've been super helpful and are always pushing for the best care and support that he needs. He's been going to Child 1st since he was 1 and I can honestly say the development I've seen and progress
of my son has been massively influenced by the wonderful staff that work there. 100% would recommend this nursery as they really go above and beyond.

Our daughter started here in September. We were very anxious about her starting nursery and we are so glad we booked a viewing with Child 1st as they put all our anxieties at ease. They took time to inform us of everything we needed to know and answer any questions we had. They allowed plenty of time
for settle in sessions to help with the new adjustment and gave time to get to know our daughter and her needs.
Would recommend child 1st!

My son has been attending Childs 1st Nursery for the past few months and since he started we have noticed a huge improvement on his communication and speech.
Two staff members in particular are always sending updates and photos of his day on the app and always call me straight away if there are any
issues when he's been a little unwell.
The nursery itself has a very welcoming atmosphere and you can tell all the children really enjoy it.

My little one has attended Child First since January. He settled in well and enjoys going. The staff are friendly and supportive and he looks forward to seeing them. They update the app throughout the day and I can contact any time to see how he is doing.
He has a range of healthy meals and snacks
each day which is also recorded on the app.
He has developed since joining and always comes home happy telling us about what he has been doing and playing all day.

My daughter has attended this nursery since September 2023 at 1 and a half years old.
The nursery offered settle in sessions when she first started which was great and also helped me too.
The app is great as you always get up to date information and pictures about your little ones day.
If you have
any concerns or questions you can message them on the app if you cant call.
My little girl has loved the Tots rooms ever since she started, all the girls that work in there are lovely and always keep me up to date on what she's been up to.
They are always offered lovely healthy meals, and snacks. And have always got little activities for the little ones to get stuck in with.
My daughter loves her nursery and goes in smiling and comes out smiling each day! Which is what you like to see as a parent to know that they enjoy themselves!
I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family

My twin boys have been going to Child 1st since February and they have come on in leaps and bounds thanks to the staff at Child 1st.
My boys were very premature and I was really concerned they wouldn't meet milestones. But as I said the staff have been amazing in supporting them to achieve everything
they've needed to and more.
I was very anxious when I was choosing a nursery as the boys were on oxygen at home for a couple of months due to there prematurity, and even though they were off it a long time before starting nursey, knowing that the nursery had experience and knowledge of babies/infants/toddlers on oxygen put my mind at ease and they were aware that made them a little more vulnerable in catching common childhood illnesses.
The boys have built such a great bond with staff and are always happy to go in to nursery and enjoy their time there. I'm so glad I chose Child 1st, they are amazing.

My son joined when he was 7 months old and he has loved it a lot, knowing that my child thrives and is looked after is so good! I can check in on the app throughout the day, see what he's eaten, if he's slept, been to the toilet.
I love the activities and the photos they put together, and I appreciate
if they take them out, they call to check with you first.
My son has just turned one and is developing so well, he eats anything, been walking since 10 months old and loves other children!
Price wise I think it's a fair cost, yes it's expensive, but the safeguarding, the activities, the friendliness and the food he's given, makes me happy and I can leave him with peace of mind!
