Acorn Day Nursery (Mulberry Bear)

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We enrolled our child at Acorn Mulberry Bear after a period of significant change in her life. She had been at her previous nursery since she was 13 months old, and we moved from London to Milton Keynes 3 months before her third birthday. We also briefly tried another nursery after the move, but unfortunately
she didn't settle at all, so we made the decision to withdraw her.

Naturally, I felt very apprehensive about starting somewhere new again. However, from the moment I visited Acorn Mulberry Bear, I loved everything about it and felt reassured by the warm and welcoming environment.
Although there have understandably been some tears at drop-off, my child is genuinely happy and settled and her confidence is already growing in a short space of time.

Overall, I'm so pleased with our choice. The team have made a potentially difficult transition much smoother for both my child and me. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff especially Abbie, Sharon & Vicky.

We've had a really positive experience with this nursery and couldn't be happier with the care our son receives. The staff are incredibly caring and patient and it's clear they genuinely take the time to nurture each child. Communication with parents is excellent - we're always kept informed and feel
involved in our son's development.

One thing we especially appreciate is the effort they put into organising special events throughout the year that celebrate different cultures and events like Mother's Day. These events are not only inclusive but also give parents a wonderful opportunity to come in, take part and see our children in their learning environment, which is really special.

The staff are always approachable and friendly, making it easy to raise any questions. Most importantly, our son absolutely loves going there, which says everything. He loves the outdoor space and activities that are changed daily. Knowing he is happy, safe and thriving gives us complete peace of mind

Such a fantastic nursery. My daughter absolutely loves going and has been going since she was 1 years old. The staff are all super friendly, they care so much and bond well with their key children, they become like another family to them! The unit is so lovely, clean and full of natural toys to spark
imagination. We feel so lucky to have got a place here for our second daughter on only wished we did years ago for our first.

Our little one started at Acorn Jubilee Wood last year and has been having such a wonderful time ever since. Even when she had a tough time settling in at first, the staff were incredibly patient and supportive, giving her all the time she needed to feel comfortable. What stands out the most is the
level of care from the team. They've clearly taken the time to understand her as an individual, and it really shows. She goes in happily each day, which says everything. The staff are warm, dedicated, and create engaging activities that help children learn while having fun.

Overall, it's a wonderful nursery with a nurturing atmosphere. The outdoor space is a real asset, and the way children gradually integrate as they grow is fantastic for building confidence and social skills.

Just a brilliant nursery. The ethos of all the staff is superb and they are really dedicated to finding activities for the children that help them learn about the world in a fun way. The woodland garden that the children have access to helps them connect to nature and I love how the children all mix
in one big room once they graduate from the baby room.

My daughter recently transferred to Wolverton Mill Nursery. We were offered lots of settling-in sessions to support her transition to a new nursery. The staff so far all seem very friendly. Kelly from the Oak Room gives a very good handover.

My daughter has settled in very well and seems to prefer

this nursery compared to her last one. The Oak Room is very big and has a very nice garden space. My daughter especially loves the climbing frame with the slide.

The only downside is that it is on a higher price band compared to the last acorn nursery.

Very happy with our experience at the nursery. Staff are friendly, helpful and good at communicating. Our daughter settled in very quicky and it is clear that she enjoys her days there and really likes all of her practitioners. The use of the app is great for photos and updates, and it is really lovely
to see her developing and learning new things. Would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.

My eldest son attended acorn in stanwick and he thrived and loved coming to nursery so when we had our second son it was an easy decision to send our youngest to acorn as well. He absolutely loves coming to nursery I love seeing the updates and what he gets up to, I love how much the staff have loved
both our boys and know them so well and watched them grow up and provided key skills. My eldest has made good friends he is still friends with at school and my eldest who would normal struggle to adapt to surroundings adapted beautifully to school with the aid of acorn and the wonderful friendships he had made.
I love acorns ethos with recycling and not using plastic toys and encouraging outdoor play areas and the forest school just fab.
I have recommended acorn to my friends who also send their children there now I could not sing their praises enough

Staff are accommodating, friendly and warm. Also very reactive though the app with any questions you need answering.
Great comms through the app on child's meal consumption.
Opportunities to be able to attend 'stay and play'.
Outdoor open door policy allows children to mooch-in and out all day.

I was very anxious about putting my child into nursery at first, but I am so glad I did. The staff have been incredibly understanding and supportive, helping ease my worries from the start. They took the time to listen and ensure both my child and I felt comfortable and secure.
My child has additional
needs, and I truly appreciate how the team make thoughtful adjustments to support him. They are caring, flexible, and ensure he is included while getting the help he needs. It is clear his wellbeing and development are a priority.
The environment is nurturing, stimulating, and full of engaging activities, especially the messy play he enjoys. Communication is excellent, and I always feel informed and supported. Special Thank you to Megan she is a credit to the nursery, and I am incredibly thankful for the support she has given both my child and me as his mother.

This nursery is fun and engaging for children. There are plenty of opportunities for messy play every day, and staff are actively playing with the children from the beginning to the end of each day. As a mum, I couldn't be happier with the nursery my child attends. The staff are warm, caring, and genuinely dedicated to supporting every child's development. It's clear that they create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy and confident to learn and explore. The menu is great and
well thought out to nourish and cater for each child's needs. My child always comes home smiling and excited to babble about their day, which says everything. I love that they take the kids out when the weather is nice to explore the park and the community around them, my child really enjoys this. I'm truly grateful for the love, patience, and hard work this intentional team put into looking after the children.
I would recommend this nursery to any mum who wants to feel completely at ease when dropping their child off, knowing they are in such caring and capable hands.

Mulberry bear offers a home from home experience for children. Staff are always friendly, attentive and welcoming.
Every effort is made to make every day a fun learning experience. I really like how they try to spend as much time outdoors as possible, and only have wooden toys which give children the
opportunity to use their imagination.
My daughter has grown so much in confidence since attending, she's always happy to go and doesn't want to leave!

She's happy to go to nursery, she does not cry on the way, but she cries on the way back to our house that tells me she's happy with the place. Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The staff at acorns have always been wonderful to my children over the years, I first started using acorns In 2020 and both of my children absolutely love going.
The staff are always thinking of new ways the children can learn through play and make the whole day so much fun for my babies!
