Giggles Day Nursery is graded OUTSTANDING in all areas by Ofsted (July 2021), developing an excellent reputation for providing the highest quality childcare in a happy, friendly, fun and secure environment!

Giggles is a purpose-built nursery, offering inclusive childcare and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. Giggles provides both government-funded and private places. The children and families at Giggles are at the heart of everything that they do, their highly qualified and experienced staff provide a professional environment that responds to each child’s individual needs, nurturing their strengths and developing their unique characters whilst following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Children at Giggles are cared for in developmental and age-appropriate rooms for babies, toddlers and preschool children. Each room has an extensive amount of space and access to its own, private outdoor play area. Giggles also has a specialist sensory room and equipment for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.

I had the lovely opportunity to stay and play with my daughter at nursery, and it was such a special experience. Watching her interact with the other children and seeing how the staff nurtured, guided, and encouraged each child so gently was truly heartwarming.
I'm so grateful my daughter is in a place
where she is not only cared for but also seen, heard, and supported as she grows. Thank you for all that you do!

Absolutely Love this Nursery I've never felt more comfort To leave my child with trustworthy staff. He absolutely Loves waking up and looks forward to spending his day at the nursery with all the staff and his nursery friends. Giggles Nursery has taught him to be Kind but also never have fear when learning

Lovely morning, was nice to see the children's nursery environment and play with them for an hour. The children had various choices for breakfast, and many different choices of activities to do inside and outside.

I attended nursery to watch the Christmas carol show in the blue room. The children were amazing as were the decorations in the room. All staff were friendly as usual. There were Christmas activities for the children and parents to do after the show.

Watched the 2024 Christmas Carols. All the children were excellent and it was clear to see that the staff spent a lot of time with the children for the performance. Both of my children have attended Giggles and I personally have nothing but good things to say about them.

My little girl enjoys coming to Giggles. The staff are incredibly friendly and they are very supportive. My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since she first started coming a few months ago! Her speech has come on amazing and her learning too! The support to get rid of my daughter's dummy was
great from the nursery staff in her room! She loves every carer she has ever been in the rooms with and has taken an extra liking to a certain few which make her day so much better! I am reassured every nursery day that my daughter is having a good day as she does struggle to leave her comforts (mum). I have never had any issues and would 100% recommend this nursery to friends and family!

I have been very impressed by the quality of care provided by Giggles Gipton. Ranging from the genuine warmth and kindness of carers to their skillset in supporting my child's development by providing well-thought-out activities. It took some time for my child to adjust and settle in and the staff worked
with me to support with the transition. Now my child is so happy and settled, this is such a relief and comfort for me when going back to work. It is also great to see the healthy food options provided and how staff have accommodated my child's dietary needs. Thanks to Giggles Gipton for providing a safe, nurturing and happy environment for my child.

Terri is the Nursery Manager at Giggles Day Nursery (Gipton). She has over 16 years experience of working within the childcare sector and has developed a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience. We are proud and honoured to share Terri's 16 years of service have all been within our nursery sites! Terri has her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Nursery management training and also Advanced safeguarding training and many other qualifications which contribute towards providing the highest quality care and education for your child. Terri has extensive knowledge of child development and experience of supporting children with additional needs, behaviour and EAL children.

My name is Holly. I am an enthusiastic and passionate person who has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the childcare and education sector. My career started more than 16 years ago, working at one of our other nurseries whilst gaining my Level 3 in childcare. I then progressed within my career and gained my SEND Teaching Assistant qualification and Qualified teacher status, teaching key stage 1 in a primary school. I am delighted my career has gone full circle, I am now back where my heart belongs, working in Early years at Giggles Day Nursery as Assistant Manager.
