Toddlers Inn’s fantastic custom-made building sits in a stunning setting. The beautiful oak tree garden, secret forest school garden, and light, open-plan classrooms are all in the striking hills and playing field grounds of St Peter’s Primary School, North Chailey.
The nursery has childcare places for 0 to 5-year-olds – the space is large but still remains intimate.
In this leafy, vibrant spot, there is no doubt the nursery can provide children with fun-filled days that will awaken the senses and kick-start social skills whilst establishing new, firm friendships.
At Toddlers Inn Nursery School, children have the freedom to explore a natural environment and can develop a sense of wonder about nature. It’s also a place where children learn to cultivate and nurture. In the gardening club, children can grow fruit and veg and eat them for lunch. How lucky!
The team and children are outside as much as possible to keep healthy, but when the children are ready to come back in there is a warm, homely space, a friendly face and a cuddle if wanted to welcome every child.
Pre school children access Forest School everyday, with their large outdoor classroom, two yurts and allotment, the children flourish in the great outdoors. During pet club they are able to learn about chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and giant African land snails!

My daughter had an amazing time at Toddlers Inn. Loved the forest school, trips + animals but most importantly the lovely care she had + bond she made with the Toddlers Inn Team. She is much older now but still has a great relationship with all the team and sees them daily.

My daughter had an amazing time at Toddlers Inn. Loved the forest school, trips + animals but most importantly the lovely care she had + bond she made with the Toddlers Inn Team. She is much older now but still has a great relationship with all the team and sees them daily.
It was without question our other daughter went here too! She already loves it, runs to see the animals and waves bye to everyone. It's hard leaving your children, but we've never had any doubt they're well cared for, happy + treated with love each day they're there. All the team feel like friends.

Millie was very shy and clingy when she first came to nursery but she now absolutely loves it thanks to the amazing staff. She talks about all the activities she does non-stop and always looks forward to going. We couldn't be happier and just wish we had started sooner!

Overall Experience
We have recently enrolled our daughter at Toddlers Inn Nursery. Every step of the way the staff have been so helpful and friendly. The setting provides so many different areas for learning to capture their imaginations. Our daughter is excited to go and sad to leave. Thank you to all the staff.
