Would definitely recommend parents to go view the facilities and meet the staff.
My kids are thriving
The staff go above and beyond when you need help with anything, it really has a lovely family vibe to it and for me that's all i could ask for for my kids
Staff are always friendly, welcoming
The team are very passionate about what they do, and that positive energy is reflected in the environment they've created. It is a very nurturing space.
Starting nursery was a big step for both me and my baby, especially as I was still breastfeeding. I was nervous about how that would work once she started, but the staff at Petite Feet were so supportive and reassuring
They took time to talk through how we could manage the transition together, and were happy to follow my baby's feeding routine, including giving expressed milk. I never felt pressured to change anything, they made it clear they wanted to work with me, not against me. That meant so much.
The girls are absolutely fantastic, warm, friendly, and clearly love what they do. I always feel like my child is safe, cared for, and genuinely known by name and personality. The updates through the app are brilliant too .

Hello, I’m Charlene, and I am the Branch Manager in Petite Feet at Church Road. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, and through this, I am able to bring a variety of ideas and approaches to the role and the nursery.
I hold the following qualifications and am currently adding to this in many other small courses, such as Child Protection Officer, Fire Warden, First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Autism Awareness
BA Early Childhood Studies. (2022)
NVQ 3 Children's care Learning and Development (2008)
HNC Advanced Practice in working with children and families (2012)
I was previously the preschool supervisor, then deputy manager and thoroughly enjoyed planning and creating experiences for the children and ultimately watching them grow and develop into the wonderful little characters they are. Now I get the added bonus of being able to get involved in each room and engage with all our little ones. Being part of their journeys and helping them along the way motivates me to keep providing the best opportunities and care that I can. I have a passion for inspiring and encouraging children to be all they can be, and this is shown through my work.
I am one of the chattiest people you will come across, but I always have an ear for children, staff or parents to share and chat about what they need. I am always willing to discuss a new idea, concern or opportunity and share advice to see what we can achieve.
My name is Shona and I’m qualified Level 3 and currently working towards my Level 5. I am baby room supervisor and deputy manager and working in Petite Feet has been one of the best experiences throughout my childcare career. Working in Petite Feet has helped me learn and grow, with the help from our great management team. I love working with babies, watching them grow and meet their milestones is amazing.
Hello, my name is Jennifer. My role at the nursery is the school-run driver, dropping off/picking up the boys and girls who attend local school nursery/playgroups. I also support the team within the rooms when I’m not out on runs. I am level 3 qualified and have been in childcare for 24 years. I have been in childcare for a long time, but working at Petite Feet has given me the opportunity to have a much better work/life balance for my own family. We are a small team, but an amazing team of ladies. We all work so well together, and behind us, we have an amazing number one supporter who is our lovely manager. I believe it is vital to have a great supporting management team that looks out for us. We are here to help, support and nurture all the little ones that come through Petite Feet doors and strive to make it the best journey we possibly can for all your children. Watching all the children grow and meet their milestones from babies to preschool is the most rewarding job I will ever do, and being a part of that journey with the children and their families is just amazing.
Hi, my name is Laura, and I am currently our Toddler room supervisor. I am thrilled to say that I recently completed my Level 3 in children's care learning and development. I have trained in first aid, safeguarding, EPI pen and anaphylaxis.
I love my job as there is always an opportunity to have a little fun, get the children involved, and watch them learn and grow from it. I am known across the staff for my love of messy play and having a go with some child-friendly experiments, such as rainbow volcanoes and extra-large bubbles.
You will often find me singing with the group, along with my puppet friends.
I have worked in other settings, but have found Petite Feet to be the one to promote the development of both children and staff. We all support each other and share ideas, activities and interesting topics to provide the best experiences in all rooms.
I love to explore the outdoors and have a keen interest in foods of the world, and often like to make my own creative dishes.
I enjoy working in Petite Feet because I work with the best team of girls, have a fantastic manager and love seeing the children grow and move through the building from room to room. I have a Level 2.
Hi! My name is Jane, I am 18 years old, and I am currently a childcare practitioner with Petite Feet. I hold an A-Level in Health and Social Care and plan on beginning to work towards my Level 3 Childcare. I love working in daycare because no two days are ever the same. It is a gift to be surrounded by such amazing little individual characters every day, and I love getting to watch their imagination blossom in all areas of the nursery, which sparks their creativity in different ways. I love developing a relationship with each and every child because everyone is different, yet equally perfect!
I have a diploma in Irish traditional music performance, and I have been playing the fiddle since I was 7 years old. Music is my everything; it is so subjective and can be used to express both culture and emotion, and that is beautiful. You'll probably always hear me humming a wee song around Petite Feet!
Hi, I am Charleigh.
I have always enjoyed taking care of children, and having a large extended family allowed me to explore this and gain experience while completing my A Levels. Now that I have finished school and received my qualifications in health and social care, I am looking forward to developing my career in childcare. I am excited to begin my Level 3 in childcare to further expand my knowledge and enhance my skills.
I am happy to have joined Petite Feet and love working in the baby room alongside my mentor, Shona and feel I will learn a lot from her.
I recently passed my driving test and enjoy being independent and exploring new places.
Hello, I'm Jenna, a medical student at Queen's University. I started working at Petite Feet over the summer, and it has been a fantastic experience. I genuinely enjoy supporting and observing children as they develop, which enhances my communication and observational skills relevant to my healthcare career. It's truly rewarding to witness their growth and learning, and I've cherished every moment spent here. As I continue my studies, I float between both Petite Feet branches and work as bank staff, so you'll see me more frequently during school breaks. I look forward to continuing to be a part of this wonderful community!
