Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery are very proud to have an 'Outstanding' Ofsted report from January 2017.

The staff team are focused on providing quality childcare and education for the children who attend their setting. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life.

The nursery staff use tapestry, an online learning journey to keep parents informed about their child's progress in nursery and parents have access as well so they can see how their children are developing.

The nursery is part of Nunthorpe Nurseries Group and they have an excellent reputation in the North East

The nursery is very good at keeping the children safe, up to data for parents, communication is brilliant. Staff are lovely all of them. We absolutely love Teesdale nursery and wouldn't use anywhere else now. Our daughter is coming on leaps and bounds attending here and absolutely adores all the staff. She goes in smiling every morning and comes out just as happy on an evening. The best nursery around.

I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful care and support my daughter has received since attending this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have created such a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where she feels happy, confident, and excited to learn each day.
Every member of the team
goes above and beyond with genuine kindness, patience, and dedication. It's clear how much they truly care about the children and their development, and it means the world to me as a parent to know she is in such loving hands. I have watched her grow in confidence, make beautiful friendships, and come home full of stories, smiles, and new skills.

Sophia absolutely loves the girls and really enjoys coming to nursery and as parents we really love seeing all the photos of her enjoying herself while she's at nursery as well as the daily updates we get from the girl when we pick her up and will definitely be sending her brother when he's old enough.

Teesdale Children's Day Nursery has been a godsend for our family. We were very worried about our son starting nursery, but the team quickly put us at ease with regular updates and photos showing his progress. One of the biggest fears as a parent is that your child won't receive the same attention they
get at home, but he truly gets more care and support than we ever expected. The staff are all fantastic and it's so reassuring to see how happy he is. He's excited to go every day and has absolutely flourished - his confidence, speech and overall abilities have improved so much. The constant communication makes us feel like he has a whole team supporting his development. We couldn't be happier and are so grateful for everything they've done, from helping with daily routines like brushing teeth to building his confidence with other children. An amazing nursery.

Warm and caring welcome from all staff. Regular updates on activities throughout the day. Great food variations daily, which we have now also implemented into our food. Amazing start to my daughters life in the North and we are truly greatful for all the things this nursery does. Thank you.

This nursery is absolutely outstanding I have had my 3 children attend this nursery from a young age 2 have left now and gone on to school but still have my daughter there. All 3 children have flourished and thrived so much the staff are so caring and are outstanding they look after the children and
learn them so much my little girl loves going there and my other 2 children didn't want to leave there and go to primary school as they loved it so much fantastic nursery would highly recommend this nursery to anyone all the staff and girls who work there are fantastic.

The staff at Teesdale Day Nursery are fantastic. They are attentive, patient, engaging and both my daughters love attending, and often would stay if they could. Overall, I would rate the nursery as excellent and recommend time and time again.

Myself and both my girls have attended this nursery and must I say the place is absolutely amazing! All the girls in there are fabulous polite and helpful not to mention the manager, you have all been fantastic, credit where credit is due, we will miss you when we go.

The best nursery! I recommend to my family and friends who are looking to put their children into nursery! The staff are lovely and so happy, my son loves it there, from being moved from a nursery after not liking it he settled in here straight away and he looks forward to going, as a mother that brings

My baby has just joined in the baby room, the girls have gone above and beyond sending pictures throughout his morning and helping him to settle in, which is a big step for him as he's never been away from his parents. Nothing is ever too much and always ensure his allergies and routine is followed.

I couldn't recommend Teesdale Children's Nursery enough, they make my daughter and myself feel so comfortable, my daughter loves going and even talks about all the girls outside of nursery, she has become so confident, cheeky and funny and learns so much in this nursery and I'm so glad I chose the nursery
for my daughter as I don't think I could ever find better. The manager and all the girls here have helped me and have supported myself with the transition of my little one going into nursery as all new mums worry about their safety and we're now a year later and honestly couldn't give one fault with Teesdale Nursery.

My daughter loves coming to nursery, the staff are all amazing with her. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My daughter receives healthy and nutritious meals. Which she enjoys. She receives a lot of stimulation and has settled in really well to the routine. Overall Teesdale is a lovely place that

My 3-year-old daughter attends Teesdale Day Nursery and I can't thank the team enough for the love and care they show my daughter every day. Thanks goes to nursery manager and all the staff for going above and beyond to make sure the children feel safe and happy. The activities are creative, educational,
and fun, helping the kids learn while they play. My daughter has learned so much and always comes home excited to tell me about her day. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a stimulating environment. I couldn't ask for a better place for my little one!

Our 1-year-old son has thrived at Teesdale! The staff are so lovely and clearly care about all the children and their individual needs. Any concerns are reported to you straight away and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The nursery is very flexible regarding what days your child is in and regularly
send updates about childcare funding.
We looked at three nurseries before deciding on Teesdale and we have absolutely made the right choice. Worth every penny! Would 100% recommend.

Awesome nursery. My kids love coming to the nursery now, in other nurseries they were crying every day. It was a really bad feeling for me leaving them like this but now I feel really happy that they are enjoying coming to nursery. Amazing and helpful staff members.

Best nursery in Teesside! I sent both my daughters in here, now on is in preschool and one in tweenies.
Teesdale nursery is the most safe place for my daughters when they are out of the house.
Staff are lovely, serious about what they do and very responsible.
Manager is very understanding and helpful.
My daughters always are happy to go and have fun!
Absolutely would recommend as a nursery!

Hello, I'm Michelle.
I have a level 4 in Early years childhood studies and have worked in childcare for 22 years here at Teesdale Children's Day Nursery. I started out as an Early year's educator, working my way up to deputy manager and I'm now proud to be manager. I take pride in having very good organisational skills and use them when managing the nursery, staff, and children. I love to meet new families, welcoming them into our setting and ensuring that they feel comfortable. We work as a team to ensure all rooms provide fun, stimulating, and safe environments. I believe having a strong team helps children achieve their individual learning goals by working together and working alongside parents and families collectively. I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.
