All A-Board Day Nursery is a private, family owned nursery, Ofsted registered and catering for children from age 4 months until school starting age of 5, with dedicated environments to suit all age groups and development.

It is a term time nursery but also offers a holiday club for the nursery children, along with children that do not attend All A-Board Day Nursery. There is an additional Tiny Town role play village with 10 play areas and a garden, the nursery children have dedicated sessions alongside staff planned learning to use it daily.

All A-Board Day Nursery is a two room setting, divided into separate learning areas to benefit each age group of children. They thrive on school leavers being school ready and use a phonics programme to help this, along with following EYFS framework.

All A-Board Day Nursery have a fantastic team of Nursery Practitioners who are passionate, committed, caring and have a loving approach to childcare which is clear in the relationship between the children and staff. All staff within the setting are in receipt of an enhanced DBS check and are trained in safeguarding, they must hold a first aid qualification and an acceptable childcare qualification in level 2 or above.

The staffing ratio in the nursery is as following:
0 - 2 years: 1 carer per 3 children
2 - 3 years: 1 carer per 4 children
3 - 5 years: 1 carer per 8 children

All A-Board Day Nursery's aim is to provide the highest quality professional childcare and early years education for every child in their care, within a happy and safe environment. The team strive to always hold a good partnership between staff and parents.

All A Board nursery was the best choice of settling for my child to begin her nursery learning adventure with. She has settled in quickly and enjoys the days she is at nursery. There are a wide range of learning opportunities for the children and extra classes that the children can participate in.
There
are regular updates with information, so as a parent I feel I am regularly informed.
All staff are caring and look after the children in a caring and nurturing way. The food offered to the children is nutritious and enjoyable to eat. My child can be a fussy eater but will eat the foods offered to her at nursery.

All A-Board is genuinely the most incredible nursery I could wish for my child to attend. The staff are so passionate in what they do, they know the children so well and make learning fun. I have two children who attend this nursery now, including one in the brand new baby room. As soon as I heard they
were opening a baby room, I signed my baby up, that's how much I love and adore the nursery!
All A-Board are so trustworthy with allergies and medical needs, my children have Epipens and I genuinely trust All A-Board with their lives. They just 'get it' and make the whole thing stress free. The extra classes such as cookery, football and the new baby sensory are worth their weight in gold. Tiny Town is incredible, every single little attention to detail has been thought of so well and the fact the children get access to tiny town twice a day is so lovely.

The baby room is calm, welcoming, and very nurturing. Staff give lots of individual attention, and routines like feeding, naps, and playtime are followed closely to match each child's needs. The environment feels safe and stimulating, with age-appropriate toys and sensory activities. My little one is
always happy and settled, which gives me real peace of mind.

Am fully aware that our Son thoroughly enjoys going to All A Board Nursey. The staff at the Nursery are attentive and always ensure that he is looked after, engaged with and has as much fun as he can whilst in their care.

My daughter has recently started All Aboard Day Nursery in the under2s room that had recently been built during the summer of 2025. I have been looking at there Tiny Town and 2-5years room on social platforms and it looked amazing. When they said they were opening an under 2s room I was excited for
my daughter to attend there. She has just finished her week of settling in sessions and now has started full days. She is very happy. The staff are all lovely and welcoming and give me a detailed handover when I collect my daughter. As a parent I love the App that gives me a breakdown of her day, what she has eaten played with, nappies, sleep etc. Also on the app you get to see photos and videos which melts my heart. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are safe and happy. I highly recommend this nursery.

I am truly so happy with the All A-Board day nursery & Tiny Town and would recommend it to anyone. We choose it because it is one of the few that are family-owned.
We had a very positive experience, smooth enrolment and great communication with the staff. They are incredibly supportive and carrying
with our son. I also love that we get regular updates on when and what he is eating, activities pictures etc
We are very happy with our decision and would not hesitate to recommend.

My son started his settling-in sessions this week and I can't praise All-Aboard enough! After visiting 3 different nurseries and hating them all I found All-Aboard and just loved it instantly, the girls are so lovely, the nursery is so clean and loved that it was a family run business. I was so nervous
about sending my son on the first day, I was worried he would hate it and cry the whole time but it was the complete opposite, he walked straight in without looking back and didn't even want to leave when I picked him up, he loves it so much! And I love that they send you updates throughout the day to keep you updated on their progress. I'm excited for him to start his full week next week, they have made what seemed such a daunting thing to do, so easy!

I cannot praise the staff at All A-Board enough. It is a small family run nursery who are extremely passionate and caring about every child. Their set up and attention to detail is outstanding.
My son and daughter have only attended twice for their 'holiday camp' sessions and my son was talking about
it from October until he went back this week. The first thing they both ask is when they are going back.
We really struggled to fine half term childcare that both my son 4 and daughter 2 could go together, but this is the perfect setting.

My daughter has been attending All-A-Board since June 2024, after visiting various other Nursery's in the area this one immediately stood out.
Above the social and learning opportunities you expect from a Nursery, All-A-Board provide a tailored experience well above this standard. In between optional
cooking and Spanish lessons the children have the capability of using Tiny Town facilities and are engaged in outdoor play, sensory activities and provided with a variety of lovely healthy foods - daily. There is also the optional opportunity for your children to attend educational and fun trips throughout the year.
My daughter loves attending All-A-Board and she will truly miss it when she has to leave to start school in September this year. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful Nursery right on our doorstep and for all the lovely ladies at All-A-Board that have made her introduction into education such a lovely experience.

I was very sceptical putting my daughter into nursery, however all a-board has put me at ease. It has really been a blessing finding availability at this nursery. The staff are just amazing, attentive and meets my daughter's needs.
They're very inclusive with the activities they do day to day and
the extra curriculum such as Spanish, cooking etc is fantastic as my daughter loves this. I would highly recommend.

My son has been at all aboard nearly a year now after switching from another nursery which he was very unhappy at. He absolutely loves coming to all aboard nursery and has made some great friendships, his learning , development and social skills have grown massively. He is very comfortable with the
staff and is showing them his cheeky personality. He is now much better at spending time away from me as he loves all the staff very much, definitely makes me feel at ease. He really enjoys the extra classes like Spanish (he picked up on this fast) and cookery which I now involve him with at home, and of course making full use of tiny town too. The nursery is always very clean. The staff always go above and beyond to ensure the children are safe and happy. Thank you

I'm not sure how to ensure that a review will do All A-Board Day Nursery & Tiny Town Ltd the justice it deserves! Not only do they provide an excellent nursery, where my son has excelled in all areas of development since he started but also the attention to detail of the curriculum, activities such
as Spanish and cooking and the caring and attentive staff make this setting one of a kind. Every time I drop and collect my son I find the staff so friendly to me and engaging with the children, I couldn't ask for a better setting for my son. Not only this, but the tiny town next door, which the children visit daily, really sets this setting apart from the rest. We are such fans that we often visit on a weekend and theme days, we even held a brilliant birthday party there. We are so lucky to have All A-Board in our area, I feel so fortunate that I found the nursery as I know it is the perfect setting for my son - I highly recommend All A-Board as I have done so to my friends. My daughter started here last November and loved it ever since, she is so happy when I say your going to nursery, she loves going into All A-Board Day Nursery & Tiny Town! And the extra classes like Spanish and cooking which is exciting for her and for us knowing she is learning outside the normal nursery
activities - they go the extra mile for all the kids by doing this and they do amazing with the special days/seasons. My daughter has come on so well since settling in and loves all her teachers!
Food wise it is amazing! I wish I could get her to eat that food at home, but it's always well-balanced and healthy and different every week never the same.

Our son has been with all aboard since October 2024, and honestly, it was the best decision we've made for him.
He was worried about starting nursery because he didn't settle well in his previous environment, but he's been great and eagerly looks forward to going each day.
His learning and talking
have come on remarkably well.
The staff is incredibly kind and genuinely cares for the children.

I needed to find a new nursery for my child very quickly due to a change in circumstances. The manager went way above and beyond to help me get my child in and registered. Everyone has welcomed my child with open arms and she has settled in so well. She loves nursery and I couldn't ask for any more

My child was extremely happy and excited to be a part of All A-Board! She couldn't wait to come in and loved telling us about the fun activities she got up to in her day. It's such a beautiful nursery with such lovely attentive staff too, I felt good energy from all of them and trusted my daughter in
their care so would highly recommend this nursery to anyone! They also have a Tiny Town next door which my kids will continue to visit and nursery children also benefit from. I love how they always stay on top of the cleanliness here too, it really shows the level of care that goes into this family-run nursery. Their communication throughout the day through their app was a lovely way to see what our child is getting up to and the progress and milestones she makes, photos and updates on toileting/eating really gave us peace of mind. Honestly haven't got a bad word to say, we love everyone here and think the manager has done an amazing job at building this to the highest standard! All the best.

My daughter has really improved with her learning since joining the nursery and the staff treat her like family.
She loves coming to nursery and loves playtime with all the other children.
The nutrition is also so good at the nursery with a variety of meals.
And very impressed with the amount
of trips and days they put on for the children.

All A-Board is a fantastic nursery. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children, at drop off/pick up I've noticed that the children always seem happy and have great bonds with the staff. The staff are great at communicating and keeping us up to date on the child's well-being, progress,
eating and the topics they will be focusing on. All meals are curated by a nutritionist and the children eat a variety of foods. The nursery is extremely clean and has a variety of wooden toys, books, spacious garden and an amazing play area and the artboards are always up to date - which the children enjoy participating in decorating. On top of this, the children participate in Spanish and cooking lessons and there are targeted play activities to develop certain skills. Importantly, I know that our child is safe while at nursery and that procedures are in place to ensure this.

Owning a day nursery has always been a dream of mine, as a mum of one daughter I am passionate about bringing a safe, homely and enriching environment to our setting.


I thrive off our wonderful parent reviews, word of mouth recommendations and our children's amazing behaviours and level of learning in our setting.


I work closely with all of my staff to ensure a safe environment, our staff are a very warm and friendly team, ensuring happiness in all areas when being in our setting.

Hollie Stokoe

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2024

Hollie has been with us from the start of our journey at All A-Board Day Nursery, including pre registration with Ofsted Hollie gave her upmost passion and dedication into creating a safe place for our children to grow and develop alongside Olivia (nursery owner).


Hollie has worked with children since school leaving age and is a level 3 qualified practitioner, she also holds a paediatric first aid certificate and a clear enhanced DBS and many other training courses accomplished within the early years sector.


Hollie is a full time staff member at All A-Board Day Nursery and is here to answer questions and queries, as well as help with enquiries.

Meg

Meg Mitchell

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2024

Meg is a kind, caring and passionate part of our All A-Board team, she has been our deputy manager since opening in January 2024 and is level 3 qualified, holding an enhanced DBS check and a paediatric first aid certificate, as well as a safeguarding level 3 qualification.


Meg has previously worked as a nanny for 6 years previously and has worked closely with children for her career. Meg has a close relationship with Hollie our manager, also works closely alongside Olivia (nursery owner) to ensure a smooth running daily routine and a safe environment for our children.

Georgina

Georgina Palmer-Drury

Job Title: SENCO Joined: 2024

At All A-Board Day Nursery we are extremely lucky to have a very dedicated, caring and kind SENCO. Georgina works 3 days a week to ensure all children are supported in their learning journey daily.


She is a fully trained SENCO and holds a clear enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid and a great relationship with outside agencies to support all children with additional needs.


Georgina is a mum of two boys and also has worked 1:1 with SEND children and in nursery settings for her whole life. She has been with us since we opened and has great relationships with parents and carers, as well as her key children.

Caroline

Caroline Kennor

Job Title: Practitioner Joined: 2024

Caroline is a loved part of our team at All A-Board Day Nursery, she is a mum of one son who also attends our setting.


Caroline is level 3 qualified in childcare and holds paediatric first aid training, enhanced DBS check and many childcare early years sector training qualifications. She has also worked in the private nanny sector for many years for a family she holds close to her heart.


Caroline has a great bond with all children at the setting, as well as the staff that she works alongside daily. Caroline is passionate and dedicated to her role as a practitioner.

Keelie is a level 3 qualified member of staff, Keelie works part time with us at All A - Board, offering her additional support on our busier nursery days.


As a mum herself, Keelie is a kind, devoted staff member who is always willing to offer a calming nurturing reassurance to the children.


Keelie enjoys contributing to the daily activities, along with supporting her key children's development, working in small groups to achieve positive results .
