Blossoms Day Nursery is a purpose built setting, based within the village of Hambleton, providing childcare for children aged 0-5 years old.

The nursery operates from four rooms; a baby room, an infant room, a toddler room and a pre-school room. Each room consists of pathways for children to browse their environment at their own leisure. Rooms are carefully designed to ensure that when a child is browsing their environment, they are still learning within every area of the room.

The nursery adopt the Reggio Emilia approach in their practice. The Reggio Emilia belief is that all children are capable, creative and intelligent. At Blossoms, practitioners work with the child as an active collaborator, both adult and child learning together. They encourage children to investigate and explore their own questions, theories and ideas about what is happening in the world around them. They support their investigations into these questions through creativity, allowing children to lead and develop their own pieces of work.

Blossoms Day Nursery promote learning outdoors as it develops the children’s relationship with nature, and also include resources that are as natural as possible for learning whilst indoors. The children are supported in their creative ideas, and they believe no idea is wrong. Staff study and learn from the children and extend their ideas to see where it leads.

My little boy has been at Blossoms for just over a year and I couldn't be happier with the care he receives. I was anxious about him starting nursery but the team were so patient and supportive during settling-in and always happy to give updates.
He now absolutely loves attending and comes home full
of excitement. The activities are varied and stimulating, the food is fantastic and the app updates throughout the day with photos are so reassuring. Blossoms is very well run with excellent communication between staff and parents, regular progress reviews and clear, comprehensive policies that make you feel reassured children are properly safeguarded.
The staff are warm, friendly and highly knowledgeable and it's obvious they know each child as an individual. We visited lots of nurseries before choosing Blossoms and it was 100% the right decision - his development has come on so much since he started attending. I would recommend Blossoms to any parent.

I don't know where to start on my thank you's to Blossoms. My eldest started here when she was 8 months old, I was so worried with her being my first, the guilt, the detachment, but Blossoms made this so much easier for me. They are all genuinely such lovely and caring people, I felt happy leaving my
baby with them whilst I worked, I always knew they were going to be cared for. My baby has started school this year, after 4 years at Blossoms and honestly I feel so privileged that we were able to get her into here and for her to have this huge advantage prior to school. Blossoms make genuine relationships with the children, they really put their effort into each child, making sure you know everything they are doing throughout the day, have have a full educational roadmap and development goals for each child and stage in their life. Honestly, I couldn't have done parenting without them. My second baby has joined now and I'm so excited for her. There's nowhere like Blossoms!

My daughter attended Blossoms from 9 months old and has just left as a 4 year old to set off to school. The nursery is fantastic, they look after your child beautifully throughout and I have complete trust in their care. They have set the children up extremely well for school, with a great learning
environment in pre-school which has made my daughters transition to school so much easier. All the staff are wonderful and I have my name down for number two to attend as well.

All of the nursery staff are very professional, look after children with dedication. Very good teacher- parent communication. Lot's off creative activities, helping child to create better understanding of the world. We loved extra take home activities helping to spend time with a child in a very creative

Both our daughters have attended here for the duration of their nursery years (9 months to starting Reception) I cannot rate Blossoms highly enough. The staff work incredibly hard at getting to know the children as individuals. The levels of care, attention and love that are given is exemplary. Our
daughters have been so happy here and built beautiful relationships with staff and children alike. Blossoms have been an integral part of our family for over 6 years, we have trusted them completely and have been delighted with the service they have given us, but more importantly, the input they have had in our children.

Our 2 year old daughter has been at Blossoms for just under a year and is so excited to go to nursery. She only attends one full day and one half day but she talks about her nursery friends and her nursery carers at home all the time.
I absolutely love seeing the updates on the app, and the photos
of the lovely activities she gets up to throughout the day.
Her key worker is amazing and our daughter loves her! All of the staff are lovely and give you a warm welcome.

My daughter has settled really well at Blossoms. The team are all very helpful, caring and kind. Blossoms goes above and beyond to offer the children new experiences, most recently my little one met the local police and went in a van.
They also provide a variety of activities each day that help her
learn new things and I feel they really nurture her.

My child has been at Blossoms day nursery for over a year and absolutely loves it! The staff are very friendly and supportive - my child is so excited to go and smiles when they get in the room. The nursery is very good with dietary requirements and helped us so much with my child's weaning which we
previously struggled with due to reflux. The staff update the app during the day so you have information on nappy changes, what your child has eaten, the activities they've done and how long they've slept for, etc. The nursery itself is very clean and the outdoor space is great for the little ones. Management are very responsive to emails and are more than happy to help with any enquiry. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

We are so impressed with Blossoms Day Nursery and our son loves attending which brings us so much joy, especially when the prospect of leaving your child in the care of others can be so daunting. The children have the opportunity to participate in so many different activities and the themes are often
topical or have even been related to our son's personal interests which is really special. There is always a sense of calm in the nursery, meal times are wonderfully relaxed and the staff are extremely kind, caring and attentive. Some other small details we appreciate are the opportunities that parents have to get involved and attend nursery, the Blossoms app with really useful and enjoyable updates throughout the day, and the extra activities for the children to take home that are placed in reception. We feel extremely lucky to have found Blossoms for our son and we are grateful that it was highly recommended to us by our antenatal class leader.

The staff are wonderful. They support my little boys development well and feedback at the end of each day positivity and succinctly. The variation in the meals over the week is brilliant allowing my little one to try meals that he might not otherwise get to eat. The activities are exciting and support
all areas of development. I especially like the App as this let's me check in on my little one whenever I need to while at work.

The staff at Blossoms are very attentive and really get to know the children as individuals. They organise and run such varied activities that are appropriate for the age of the children. They have various rooms so the children are with peers of a similar age and development so activities are tailored.

Fantastic nursery, kind and caring staff, excellent environment and endless learning opportunities for the children. My little boy has been attending for over a year now and my newborn is on the list to start when she turns 9 months. I trust Blossoms 100% with caring for my children. They provide excellent
opportunities for the children in their care. Their focus on cultural capital is evident and my son learns so much. He absolutely loves nursery and speaks so highly of his key worker who is so nurturing with him. I wouldn't want to send my children anywhere else.

My child has been at Blossoms nursery nearly 2 years and I am so happy with the choice of sending him there. I love that they have an app so I can see updates throughout the day as this helped me settle more especially when I was first sending him or times where he was upset when I dropped him off.
The staff are lovely too and it's comforting to see my son forming a nice relationship with them.

My son has been going to blossoms since he was just over 1 year old and now he is in the pre school room. He loves attending and has grown in confidence and development. The nursery staff are always so supportive professional and clearly love their job . They make lots of effort -go out of their way
to make events special like Christmas, Easter for both the children and the parents . They teach the children about the outside world with lots of different ideas and resources. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to anyone and am very grateful and feel lucky that my son is in such a lovely fun and supportive environment

Lovely nursery. Staff always give a lovely greeting when you start the day and my child loves it there. They do so much and learn so much! The app is updated throughout the day so you know what your child is doing day to day.

I started my career while studying at university and working as a Nursery Practitioner. I then progressed to being an EYFS Manager for a chain of nurseries once graduating with my BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and completing my EYPS at Level 6.


I have a real passion for providing outstanding quality childcare and believe the most important years in a child's life for development is in the early years.
