Since starting everyone involved in my child's care has been Fab! They really do make sure they know the child and want to family involved with the care and events in the nursery. The communication has been outstanding whether it's from general information, how my little one has been that day or the progression from one room to another.
I honestly couldn't think of a better place to send my child, they've made having to go back to work incredibly easy and I know my little boy has developed so much as a result of being here. Thank-you Katie and the whole team!

I started my career while studying at university and working as a Nursery Practitioner. I then progressed to being an EYFS Manager for a chain of nurseries once graduating with my BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and completing my EYPS at Level 6.
I have a real passion for providing outstanding quality childcare and believe the most important years in a child's life for development is in the early years.
Creating an environment where the vision of 'Quality is our Reality' is at the heart of both our nurseries.
After leaving school I went on to complete my Level 3 Childcare where I worked in this industry for a couple of years. A change in career led me down the HR route and I found a real passion for training and development.
Ten years on and after having my own child I was offered a job in HR for a group of nurseries and this combined re-ignited my passion for working with children.
One of our beliefs at Blossoms is, you can’t provide quality care if your employees don't receive quality training.
I have worked in childcare for over fifteen years, working in a variety of early years settings. During this time, I completed my Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies. This experience has supported me in gaining a vast amount of knowledge and understanding of child development.
I started at Blossoms, when the first nursery opened, back in June 2018 and feel my passion for early years has grown even further during my time here. I love working with such an ambitious and dedicated team, providing high quality and challenging learning experiences for children to ‘flourish’.
After completing my childcare qualification in 2022, I went on to become a nursery practitioner at a nursery in Lincoln, where I am originally from.
I started with Blossoms in 2020 and feel during my time here my confidence and knowledge have enhanced even further through the support from the highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic management team. I feel proud and honoured to be the Manager at Blossoms Day Nursery-The New Mill, with a team that shares my ambitious vision for providing high-quality childcare.
