Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

We have been transitioning our daughters since July and they both started full time in Jan, the staff are amazing and very helpful, they really care and work very hard to meet individual needs of children.

My daughter was at another nursery previously, since starting grasshoppers her confidence and language has come on leaps and bounds. I am so happy with her progress! My daughter started Grasshoppers's in April 2025, my son is having settles and is due to start in April 2026. I have had to change days for both children and the nursery have been so accommodating for me. The staff are so friendly and I feel at ease dropping my children off as I know they are in excellent care. My daughter loves being in pre school and speaks about pre school at home. She mentions the staff daily and always have a story about her day and what fun she has got up to. I couldn't recommend Grasshoppers's enough! The management are always there for you to talk to if you need and are very welcoming. I will be sad when my daughter leaves pre school as the nursery has become a second family for us.

After seven years with this nursery, I can say it has been a constant source of reassurance, warmth and support for our family. Both of my children joined as babies, and throughout every stage of their early years the staff have gone above and beyond. Their care has been exceptional, not only nurturing my boys day to day, but noticing the small things that truly matter. On one occasion, their quick thinking and guidance led me to seek medical advice for my eldest, resulting in early treatment that made a real difference. I am grateful for their attentiveness and genuine concern. My children have grown in confidence and happiness here. The team channelled my eldest child's endless energy into creativity and joy, and when my youngest started, he was welcomed with the same warmth and understanding. As our youngest moves on, it is emotional to say goodbye, but we leave with gratitude deeply.

Couldn't be happier with Grasshoppers! My son started in their baby room in September - he is a shy and sensitive boy and I feel he's come on leaps and bounds since starting. He has a fantastic relationship with his key worker and she is amazing at keeping us updated about his progress and development. All the employees really seem to know their stuff and all genuinely care about the kids. Communication is great both from the office and from the workers in the baby room. I was really nervous about my son starting nursery and I'm so delighted that we chose Grasshoppers. Genuinely couldn't fault anything .

We joined Grasshoppers Day Nursery in Aylesbury in summer 2025 after relocating to the area from London, and it has been the best experience from the very first viewing. As a parent, finding a good nursery is so important, and this one has truly delivered. My child is well looked after and always happy to go in each morning. The staff are warm, caring and excellent at communicating. Couldn't ask for a better start. Highly recommend!

My son joined Grasshoppers from a nursery in Amersham as we relocated. We loved his previous nursery and were apprehensive about the move. However, we the move has been so successful and my little boy could not be happier. The whole team at Grasshoppers are fantastic and we have seen him learn so much already.

My son started a few months after being at a previous childcare setting in Aylesbury and what a transformation. He is so happy, chatty and just full of life. The staff take such great care of the children. My son has settled brilliantly and the staff were amazing during the settle sessions and when he first started. They are still amazing now. I get a clear review of what my son has done for the day. They follow requests from home with ease and my son eats all the wonderful meals he is served. The setting is spotless and my son comes home as clean and whistle. No crusty, snotty nose or clothes covered in food. I feel happy leaving him there knowing he is under the best of care and he is enjoying himself and learning lots of new skill. Thank you to all the staff, you are all wonderful. Highly recommend 5*

Our daughter joined Grasshoppers a couple of months ago, and we couldn't be happier. The team are incredibly welcoming and supportive, caring for us as parents as much as our daughter.

We were especially impressed by the well-organised and regular settling-in sessions, which really helped prepare all of us for the upcoming change.

There's a lovely warm and homely atmosphere throughout the nursery, and it's clear how much the staff genuinely care about each child's happiness and development. It's great to see such a wide variety of activities and toys, and we loved the outdoor space that our daughter is really enjoying.

We're truly grateful to have found a nursery where we feel so comfortable and confident leaving her each day. Thank you to everyone at Grasshoppers for making her (and us!) feel part of the family.

We had our son and daughter in Grasshoppers for 4 years and they loved the nursery and really thrived in their environment. They staff are really kind ad create and environment for children to flourish.

My daughter attended Grasshoppers Day Nursery from the age of 1-4 years old. Prior to this my daughter attended another setting but in my opinion Grasshoppers is by far better. The level of care and teaching she has received during her time at Grasshoppers has been excellent. The subjects they learn in their rooms were very impressive, especially in Preschool. The rooms themselves and outdoor spaces are well equipped, very clean, and well maintained. The staff were kind, personable and professional. I felt they were very transparent with everything relating to my daughter's care and this allowed to drop my daughter to them knowing she was going to be well taken care of. My daughter thrived in the atmosphere they provided and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Grasshoppers nursery has been the most wonderful place for our daughter to grow. From her very first day, the team have been warm, caring, and genuinely dedicated to helping her thrive. She's grown in confidence, made lovely friends, and developed skills that amaze us every day. The staff truly know and care for each child, creating a safe and happy environment where she feels valued and loved. We are so grateful for the incredible support they've given her - it's been the best start we could have wished for.

The facilities are also top notch. The layout of the nursery is thoughtfully built for all seasons. They have airconditioning during summer which is fabulous! The children have freedom to explore to different activities and areas all the time. Our son has grown and developed so much.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time with Grasshoppers Nursery, all the staff are great and have helped to to grow and prepare for school. All the facilities they have are great and my daughter has enjoyed every day being there.

Our youngest daughter has just finished her time in Grasshoppers, and we are so grateful that she got to spend her early years in such a nurturing and supportive setting. She joined Caterpillars room as a 9 month old, requiring lots of care and support, and is leaving a very confident and happy 4 year old ready for school.

I can't recommend Grasshoppers highly enough to any parents in Aylesbury.

Leaving their precious child is always the hardest thing for a parent to do, but Grasshoppers have made this easier for me.

From the very first day we entered the nursery, there have always been positive vibes. All the kids are so happy. The staff welcome all kids with so much love and excitement. The way they look after the kids makes it evident that it's much more than just a job for them.

The nursery provides a safe, stimulating and fun environment.

My daughter is always smiling when I meet her at the end of a day, and I have never had a reason to doubt that she is in good hands.

The staff has always been very forthcoming and open about any observations. They keep a very clear line of communication, keep us updated with all the activities and are always available to talk.

The care and dedication the Grasshoppers team has for the children is second to none. I know no matter which member of the team is on in the morning, they will all give that extra support to my son.

My daughter loves her time at Grasshoppers - she has since she started with them in November 2024. The staff have a real bond with her and genuinely care about her, because they want to, not because they have to. My daughter has never shown any nervousness about going to Grasshoppers, which makes my life as a parent a lot easier. I'm massively grateful to the staff for giving her a place to thrive, and it really is the best start to her life of education that I could ask for.
