Tynemouth Nursery Group and Zone4kids are very special, known and respected throughout North Tyneside and Newcastle upon Tyne. They pride themselves in providing a truly homely feel for the children.

This locally owned chain has seven settings, with its highly qualified team offering the very best in childcare and ensuring every child receives considerable individual attention to achieve their full potential. Each Nursery has recently been fully refurbished and re-equipped (2018).

Investment has been made in digital learning journals and in 2018 they were the first group in the North East to achieve the prestigious Millie's Mark award in all of their settings!

The settings are warm and very friendly and children are encouraged to be independent and learn resilience. Staff at their nurseries give them a love of learning which will sustain them throughout life. With numerous activities such as football, yoga, sing & sign, French etc., there is a wealth of learning opportunities to make sure children can reach their full potential.

All food is sourced locally with all meat delivered by local butchers. The chefs prepare and cook meals on site and are proud of their healthy and varied diet.

Our experience with this Billy Mill Nurser been nothing short of fantastic. From the very beginning, my 15 month old has settled in amazingly well, she genuinely runs in every day with excitement, which says everything about how happy and comfortable she feels there.


The flexibility they offer has

been a huge benefit for our family, especially with term time hours that suit our routine perfectly. The staff truly know my daughter as an individual, they understand her needs, personality, and routines so well, which gives me real peace of mind.


She has built such lovely relationships with the team, and it's clear how much care, attention, and support she receives daily. They go above and beyond to ensure she is nurtured, encouraged, and supported in every aspect of her development.


I'm especially grateful for how well they manage her allergies, they are incredibly attentive, careful, and proactive, which makes a big difference as a parent.


I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly

My daughter has been going to this nursery for nearly 2 years now and she's absolutely thrived! The staff are amazing and so helpful. I'm a single mum and if I ever need advice or just a chat I know I can always go to them. I was very hesitant at first putting my daughter into nursery but I've never
regretted it since she started here, they go above and beyond. I can't thank them enough!

My son loves attending Zone4kinds at Whitley Lodge. From the minute he walks in the door he is met with a warm and lovely greeting by the team.This is without doubt continues through the door. He doesn't stop talking about the activities he has completed, developing his language and communication skills

My child is always happy to go to the nursery. And when I pick him up in the evening, he's always smiling. I feel like he's learning a lot, he gets to do many activities he wouldn't have access to if he was at home. I have full confidence in the staff.
