Tynemouth Nursery Group and Zone4kids are very special, known and respected throughout North Tyneside and Newcastle upon Tyne. They pride themselves in providing a truly homely feel for the children.

This locally owned chain has seven settings, with its highly qualified team offering the very best in childcare and ensuring every child receives considerable individual attention to achieve their full potential. Each Nursery has recently been fully refurbished and re-equipped (2018).

Investment has been made in digital learning journals and in 2018 they were the first group in the North East to achieve the prestigious Millie's Mark award in all of their settings!

The settings are warm and very friendly and children are encouraged to be independent and learn resilience. Staff at their nurseries give them a love of learning which will sustain them throughout life. With numerous activities such as football, yoga, sing & sign, French etc., there is a wealth of learning opportunities to make sure children can reach their full potential.

All food is sourced locally with all meat delivered by local butchers. The chefs prepare and cook meals on site and are proud of their healthy and varied diet.

Couldn't thank all the staff enough for how caring and attentive they are to my child and myself! They are absolute superstars. My daughter is thriving in her speech and development, I couldn't fault the whole team. Thank yous so much for being the best teachers to my daughter, wouldn't want her placed
anywhere else. I trust all the staff so highly! The food and activities are always to a high standard - 5 stars from me!

My daughter loves nursery so much that she often asks to go there at weekends or holidays. Fab activities, lovely warm staff and delicious food! I like the house-style setting and the fact that there is such a low staff turnover - it really feels like a family home and my daughter knows everyone well.
We hardly ever have any tears at the door and every day I get sent written updates, photographs and a face to face recap of how she has been at collection time. I really love this nursery and couldn't recommend it more highly.

Both of my children attend this nursery and I cannot give enough praise to all the staff. They are attentive, caring and passionate about their jobs.
Management is very approachable and supportive and that is nice to have. I know most staff on individual basis now and each one has their own strengths

My son attends this nursery and I cannot recommend it enough, the staff are amazing and thanks to them he is thriving. The activities offered are brilliant and it's lovely to receive photos and updates throughout the day with regular observations to track his development. The children are encouraged
to do what makes them happiest, I love arriving for pick up to see him playing and dancing with friends and staff or in a fancy dress outfit that he has chosen to wear. The menu is brilliant and the chef makes sure she gets to know your child's likes, dislikes and dietary needs and is always free for a chat if things change. The manager is always so welcoming and makes sure she updates parents regularly via the app as well as answering messages quickly. The room sizes are great for the age ranges within them and are always clean and safe for the children, there are lots of toys for the children to play freely with between activities.

The best thing I could have done is send my children to this nursery. Both my children loved it and not only settled but thrived! The staff are brilliant, kind caring, in-tune with the children's needs creating a home from home environment, which puts you at ease sending them in, as you know they are

The nursery has been absolutely amazing for our son who is now in pre-school.
All the staff are so welcoming and lovely and go above and beyond for the children.
This month they have done loads of activity's including, a Christmas performance at the local church hall, Christmas party (on a weekend),
went to see the pantomime and had Santa and Rudolph visit the nursery.
I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

Fantastic engaged staff. Friendly and my daughter has developed and grown during her time. Varied activities, plenty of outside time. The staff always take time time to give an update on her day and send plenty of photos.

Tynemouth nursery are nothing but exceptional from their fantastic safeguarding to their communication through the parent admin app.
My child joined in September at 1 year old. He found the transition tricky but with the help of the staff he now thoroughly enjoys his days.
The staff genuinely care
about the children they look after and everyday share pictures and comments to keep us updated on how our child's day is going - giving us peace of mind!

I am delighted with the transition support Erin has received on moving upstairs with toddlers. Staff are very well equipped to deal with all aspects of the children's sense of dis-equilibrium. The attention that has recently been focused on the physical environment, both indoor + outside, is very pleasing.
The range of evidence of contextually relevant + developmentally appropriate stimuli + experiences makes every day interesting, fun + challenging for Erin. Staff involvement in the charity + Halloween events were a real triumph. Fab to see the effort to be really inclusive.

Adam has been a fantastic key worker, and developed a lovely relationship with my little one. He's always happy to be dropped at nursery and they take good care of him while he is there. Staff a caring, and activities are varied and look engaging. He loved when he went for an outing last summer, so
I wish he had the chance to do a couple more of those, but other than that I don't have any suggestions, just keep up the great work. The app is useful to keep updated.

I have been a parent at this nursery for 8 years now and all 3 of my children have been so happy here. My boys have now gone to school and were very well prepared from their days in preschool where they spent time on phonics and letter formation as well as other key skills they would need. My daughter
is currently still in the baby room and loves coming to nursery. She is always full of smiles when I pick her up and really enjoys her time there. The staff show a great level of care and attention to each and every child. Being able to see what she has been up to via the app is also a god send. So grateful to all of the team for all that they do.
