Finkley Weeke Nursery and Pre-School

Very friendly nursery who do lots with the children. My daughter started here and has enjoyed it ever since because they've made her feel comfortable and welcome. They update parents regularly with photos and notes regarding food and toilet changes which is good to have. I would definitely recommend going here to other parents / friends

Finkley weeke is a really lovely nursery, my child settled in and felt really comfortable with everyone and the setting really quickly. The staff are all really lovely and friendly, and genuinely seem to pay attention to and care about my daughter and have got to know her well even though she only goes a couple mornings a week. The staff are all really supportive and helpful, and the communication side is really great through the app, with daily updates of what everyone has got up to throughout the day. There are always lots of lovely activities that have helped spark my daughter's interest in different topics and she has learnt a lot through them. There's lots of outside space and the children are often outside playing and having fun which is lovely to see. The food also seems great with balanced and nutritious meals that my daughter enjoys. I am very happy sending my daughter here, and would recommend.

We have had such a wonderful experience with this nursery. They cared for my eldest daughter before she started school and now look after my youngest, and I honestly couldn't recommend them more. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive and genuinely care about the children. They create such a warm, nurturing environment where the kids feel safe, happy and excited to learn. It's been lovely to see both of my daughters grow in confidence during their time there. Knowing they are in such good hands gives us real peace of mind as parents. Thank you to the whole team for everything you do.

The staff have made a real effort to build genuine connection with our little girl, we know we are sending her to a setting where she is cared for and nurtured. We love Finkley and recommend it to anyone without hesitation!

Polite friendly staff who take the time to understand the child's needs, in terms of educational nurture, ways of learning with an emotional balance. They fully embraced my child in a smooth transition between nurseries, developmentally I have been impressed by the efforts, planning, ideas for learning, fun and safe environment whilst being able to grow as a child. My son loves his nursery and his key worker is amazing with him, she cares about the children's which goes a long way.

They did a MacMillan coffee morning at the end of the first month which was good timing for me as a nursery new parent as I got to meet other parents and have a chat.

I came to view the nursery and I was welcomed by member of team . I found nursery Friendly, caring, staff is knowledgable and skilled, excellent management . Children are happy . I would highly recommend

This was an excellent pre school for my inquisitive, confident, funny, caring little girl and they have helped me raise her to be more than ready for school in the autumn. I am very thankful for the love they gave her every day.

I can't laud enough praise on Finkley Weeke. Our daughter was one of the first babies in the baby room, but you wouldn't know it. From the off, we have been impressed with the activities, outdoor space, food and communication. Parents vote on a new theme every two weeks and the team are so imaginative when it comes to making up activities. Even when our daughter couldn't walk, she was enjoying tuff trays for the "colour" theme and making pizza for "around the world" theme. Every day, someone sends a roundup of what each room has been up to, with photos. It's so nice to see what all the children have been up to, especially when your child is too young to tell you them self. We have experience of another local nursery, where our daughter would arrive and leave crying, and we had no idea what she'd been up to all day. She goes into Finkley happily and is having fun in all the photos. This is thanks to the amazing team, particularly Manager and Baby-Lead.Thank you!

Absolutely love Finkley nursery. The staff are fantastic and engaging with the kids. Drop off and pick up and really well managed and take the stress out of it. They go on regular trips out and provide lots of photos through the app. Our kids both moved there a few months ago and things couldn't have gone better. They have a good outside space with sheltered areas for when the sun is too much. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, our kids love it!

Staff always recognise and highlight special moments and achievements within the week, which gives me a better understanding of Hannah's abilities outside the home. The feeling of welcome, care and friendliness is what makes me feel at ease everyday when I do drop off. The school is also accommodating with any requests for additional days and or changes where permitted around staff levels. Big still is around the corner and I feel work all activities and knowledge bestowed my daughter will be ready for her next adventure and challenge.

We had heard excellent things about Finkley Weeke and, even so, it has exceeded our expectations! It is a very special place filled with very special people.

Our daughter's key worker is incredible and really took the time to connect with her from the second she arrived. Each week, there is a shared plan sent to parents detailing the topic being covered that week - our daughter has learned so much and will spontaneously talk to us about topics, such as autumn and hibernation! There is a genuine appreciation of the staff team at every level, and it reflects in their amazing work and wonderful manner with the children. The team is always warm and enthusiastic, even down to the way the children are welcomed inside in the morning.

We genuinely couldn't recommend Finkley Weeke highly enough and are so excited that our son will get to experience the magic when he starts there too.

I cannot speak more highly of Finkley Weeke Nursery. The staff have been absolutely incredible with both my little girl and my little boy. My daughter, who had attended three previous nurseries due to house moves, truly thrived at Finkley. It had been, by far, the most exceptional experience. The staff supported her emotional regulation, and she made fantastic progress. She also developed wonderful bonds with the team. My son, who still attends, has also formed such close relationships with the staff and children. He absolutely loves going and looks forward to it every day.

Frinkly Weeke Nursery has been a wonderful place for both my children, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My youngest daughter still attends Finkley and she absolutely loves her time there. She particularly enjoyed the Halloween season with the Finkley staff doing lots of arts and crafts and then learning all about the seasons. The staff at Finkley are all incredibly friendly and helpful and have really kept is informed about our daughters development. Her key worker in particular has a very special bond with her and really helps her develop her learning.

Finkley Weeke has been amazing for the development of my three year old. We are always kept well informed about our son's progress. My son enjoys the different activities and trips provided by the nursery. He is encouraged to be independent and is appropriately challenged to ensure he is school ready. The staff are extremely friendly and are always happy to work with us to help my son's needs and development. I would highly recommend Finkley Weeke to anyone wanting to send their child to nursery.

My twin boys started at Finkley in October 2023 and it was the best decision we made. Finkley is a brilliant nursery, with a nurturing environment focused on the emotional and learning needs of the individual children. The staff are friendly, professional, experienced and know each of the children really well. They will adapt to support busy working parents at drop off and pick up as well which we have always found very helpful and greatly appreciated.

Finkley Weeke provides regular trips out for the children which are exceptional, including visits to local shops, attractions, a care home and Finkley farm which my boys love. The structured activities and weekly themes that the staff create are also incredible and the effort that goes into the planning and execution of activities to suit the EYFS is outstanding. We have always found the daily contact via the app to be brilliant, with detailed information about learning, activities and day-to-day care. Highly recommend!

We are immensely impressed with the overall setting and the wonderful staff at Finkley Weeke. From the beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming and supportive. They have created a warm and nurturing environment that has made our daughter feel happy and comfortable.
