My daughter has just finished 3 years of attending Acorns Duffryn. The staff are so very caring, creative and excellent at what they do. Their positivity and cheerfulness was always noticed, and the activities on offer have really helped my daughter to build her imagination, confidence and learn good social skills. I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work over the years, and I will truly miss them.

I think it is massively underestimated how scary it is to leave your child with others. My daughter started at nursery last year and she has absolutely thrived. I have watched her become more confident, more chatty and more intelligent all the time. The staff are genuinely lovely without exception. Everyone takes the time to talk to us as her parents and even those that do not work directly with her, know her name and talk to her. It is clear that she is comfortable and I feel that she is safe. This allows me to feel able to do my own work without worrying all the time. The management has always been transparent and taken time when needed to talk. We were so unsure about nursery but couldn't be happier. Acorns supports our daughter to be herself. They respect her religious beliefs and cultural needs. Some of the team even support us with maintaining her hair. As parents, we are so grateful that we chose Acorns and can't thank the staff there enough.

My youngest child has recently left Acorns Whitchurch, bringing an end to around seven years of having the nursery in our lives (including time with my older child). I really felt "it", when I realised our journey with Acorns and the staff was ending and I would no longer be going several times a week to collect my child. From the moment we first took our oldest child to the nursery until the day we left in July 2026, the care, support, enthusiasm and all round fantastic approach from the team has been unparalleled. The environment is safe, clean and stimulating. The variety of activities, learning, play environments and opportunities for the children is fantastic. But one of the best things about the nursery, is the staff. When your child comes home telling you about their day, the people that look after them and in such a positive way, that level of care and safety is all you could hope for, for your children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery.

From day one my child was always happy to go to nursery. I know she felt loved, safe and cared for. I trusted my child in their care. The facilities are great, the catering is good and the staff are professional and friendly. The range of resources and learning contributed greatly to my child's development.

We love Acorns, which is why we sent our second baby there. The staff are brilliantly caring, the facility is lush, offering a big outdoor space for the kids, and the food is healthy. The kids get up to so much and build strong relationships with staff and friends.

I have brought my son to Acorns House for about two years and he has loved it. He settled really well and quickly. He achieved many milestones while at nursery and the quality of care is a big reason for that. The staff are wonderful and seem to really care for the children. The facilities are impressive and the activities really provide good the child with great fundamentals.

Acorns Llandaff is a wonderful nursery and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The nursery facilities are excellent but it's the staff that make this place really special. They always provide a warm welcome, all know my little boys name even if he isn't in their group, and the Management team are visible and hands on in their approach. They are very sensitive and pragmatic in their approach to illnesses which has minimises any time off work for us due to sickness. The staff clearly adore the children they care for; they provide detailed feedback about activities of the day, and lovely things my little boy has said or done. The building and facilities are second to none. The food provided is healthy and freshly prepared. The activities are stimulating and encourage creativity and fun. The nursery makes a real effort to involve families with hosting parents evenings and lovely events e.g. mothers day, where we can come in and play. It's a fabulous nursery.

Duffryn Acorns, Incredible team of staff each & everyone of them so attentive, welcoming & just overall wonderful. My daughter absolutely loved acorns the staff, food, activities and all of her lovely little friends & we are so sad its her time to leave but thanks to Acorns she is ready for her next step on to big school. I can't thank them enough for making her nursery journey an amazing one. The facilities are fantastic and so well equipped to help children grow & excel. We are so grateful to you all for giving our little one the greatest nursery experience. Thank-you so so much will miss you all.

Our son will be leaving Acorns to start school full time soon. He has been with Acorns from 9 months and has had the best time there. The staff are wonderful. He has been very well looked after and I can't thank them enough. Thank you to all of Duffryn Acorns staff!

The food menu is fantastic with a great variety offered.

My daughter has been attending Acorns since she was just over 1 right up until she was 4, from the time we came to visit the nursery I knew it was the right one. She settled in well and all the staff were amazing she loved every one.

I have had the absolute pleasure of having my children at acorns Duffryn since we moved here in 2021. The whole staff team are incredible. They made fantastic connections with staff who encouraged and facilitated friendships among peers. They had engaging activities and both my children have left with great confidence and curiosity in the world around them. Thank you so much!

Our daughter had attended Park Grove Acorns since she was ten months old, and we truely believe it was the best decision we have made for her development.

Since day one, the staff at Acorns have been wonderful and supportive with us and our daughter. Their communication is brilliant and their app updates throughout the day kept our anxieties at ease.

Today was her last day at nursery, and although she is more than ready to move on to new chapters, we will miss everyone at Acorns dearly.

They go above & beyond and are incredibly responsive when it comes to my queries about safeguarding. They genuinely care about my son's welfare, development and happiness. The incredible team make this a very special nursery

Acorns has gone above and beyond to care for my daughter. All their staff are exceptional and make parents feel confident that their children are safe. My daughter has been there from 1 years old until 4 years old 4 days a week and they have provided outstanding care for her.

Excellent staff members and facility. Our child really enjoys attending nursery in the nurturing, safe environment provided. We visited several nurseries before choosing this one, and can honestly say Acorns at USW was far and away the best for cleanliness, staff attentiveness, activities and meals. I would highly recommend this facility to any parent, the manager and all the team are superb.

The range of activities was fantastic, and he especially loved the activity days where parents and grandparents could visit and join in. Leaving was emotional as the nursery became such an important part of his early years. We would highly recommend Acorns Duffryn to any family.

Excellent care for our 3 year old. She loves the staff and facilities. Couldn't ask for more!
