Day Nurseries Owned by Acorns Nurseries Ltd

My daughter has been coming to the nursery since she was 6 months old. She loves the nursery and her confidence just keep on growing while attending here. The staff are amazing and are very caring and supportive.

An outstanding nursery with caring, dedicated staff who go above and beyond for the children. Our son has thrived here and has grown in confidence, independence and happiness. The communication with parents is excellent, and the activities on offer are fantastic. The only thing we would love to see is the option of a term-time-only contract, which would be really helpful for many families. Aside from that, we couldn't fault the nursery and would highly recommend it.

Having never spent a day apart from us, we were apprehensive about having to send our son to nursery when I went back to work. The staff were so kind, reassuring and made such a homely environment (with all the cuddles needed) for him to settle as quickly as possible. He now absolutely loves being at nursery. He does so many activities throughout the day, eats amazing food and has developed so much in the few months he's been there. We couldn't recommend Acorns Nantgarw enough.

We loved our time with Acorns nursery Duffryn. Both our boys thrived in their setting and we never doubted that they were safe and cared for. All the staff spend time and effort getting to know all the children and parents which made us feel like we were part of a family. Our son has an egg allergy with an EpiPen and several intolerances; his dietary needs were always thoroughly considered and he never had a single incident. When we decided to move house a huge consideration was the fact that we'd have to change child care and taking them out of Acorns was one of the hardest parts of the decision. Thank you for all the hard work and care you gave to our boys.

Can't recommend this nursery enough!

The staff are lovely very polite, helpful, friendly and attentive. My daughter is well looked after, she is learning and growing with confidence. I am very grateful for the great care the staff are providing for my daughter. I hope the level of care and support will continue until my daughter starts pre-school. Thank you all.

My daughter has just finished 3 years of attending Acorns Duffryn. The staff are so very caring, creative and excellent at what they do. Their positivity and cheerfulness was always noticed, and the activities on offer have really helped my daughter to build her imagination, confidence and learn good social skills. I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work over the years, and I will truly miss them.

I think it is massively underestimated how scary it is to leave your child with others. My daughter started at nursery last year and she has absolutely thrived. I have watched her become more confident, more chatty and more intelligent all the time. The staff are genuinely lovely without exception. Everyone takes the time to talk to us as her parents and even those that do not work directly with her, know her name and talk to her. It is clear that she is comfortable and I feel that she is safe. This allows me to feel able to do my own work without worrying all the time. The management has always been transparent and taken time when needed to talk. We were so unsure about nursery but couldn't be happier. Acorns supports our daughter to be herself. They respect her religious beliefs and cultural needs. Some of the team even support us with maintaining her hair. As parents, we are so grateful that we chose Acorns and can't thank the staff there enough.

My youngest child has recently left Acorns Whitchurch, bringing an end to around seven years of having the nursery in our lives (including time with my older child). I really felt "it", when I realised our journey with Acorns and the staff was ending and I would no longer be going several times a week to collect my child. From the moment we first took our oldest child to the nursery until the day we left in July 2026, the care, support, enthusiasm and all round fantastic approach from the team has been unparalleled. The environment is safe, clean and stimulating. The variety of activities, learning, play environments and opportunities for the children is fantastic. But one of the best things about the nursery, is the staff. When your child comes home telling you about their day, the people that look after them and in such a positive way, that level of care and safety is all you could hope for, for your children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery.

From day one my child was always happy to go to nursery. I know she felt loved, safe and cared for. I trusted my child in their care. The facilities are great, the catering is good and the staff are professional and friendly. The range of resources and learning contributed greatly to my child's development.

We love Acorns, which is why we sent our second baby there. The staff are brilliantly caring, the facility is lush, offering a big outdoor space for the kids, and the food is healthy. The kids get up to so much and build strong relationships with staff and friends.

I have brought my son to Acorns House for about two years and he has loved it. He settled really well and quickly. He achieved many milestones while at nursery and the quality of care is a big reason for that. The staff are wonderful and seem to really care for the children. The facilities are impressive and the activities really provide good the child with great fundamentals.

Acorns Llandaff is a wonderful nursery and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The nursery facilities are excellent but it's the staff that make this place really special. They always provide a warm welcome, all know my little boys name even if he isn't in their group, and the Management team are visible and hands on in their approach. They are very sensitive and pragmatic in their approach to illnesses which has minimises any time off work for us due to sickness. The staff clearly adore the children they care for; they provide detailed feedback about activities of the day, and lovely things my little boy has said or done. The building and facilities are second to none. The food provided is healthy and freshly prepared. The activities are stimulating and encourage creativity and fun. The nursery makes a real effort to involve families with hosting parents evenings and lovely events e.g. mothers day, where we can come in and play. It's a fabulous nursery.

Our son will be leaving Acorns to start school full time soon. He has been with Acorns from 9 months and has had the best time there. The staff are wonderful. He has been very well looked after and I can't thank them enough. Thank you to all of Duffryn Acorns staff!

The food menu is fantastic with a great variety offered.

My daughter has been attending Acorns since she was just over 1 right up until she was 4, from the time we came to visit the nursery I knew it was the right one. She settled in well and all the staff were amazing she loved every one.

I have had the absolute pleasure of having my children at acorns Duffryn since we moved here in 2021. The whole staff team are incredible. They made fantastic connections with staff who encouraged and facilitated friendships among peers. They had engaging activities and both my children have left with great confidence and curiosity in the world around them. Thank you so much!

Thank you Acorns Duffryn to providing such a fantastic nursery for my daughter.

Our daughter had attended Park Grove Acorns since she was ten months old, and we truely believe it was the best decision we have made for her development.

Since day one, the staff at Acorns have been wonderful and supportive with us and our daughter. Their communication is brilliant and their app updates throughout the day kept our anxieties at ease.

Today was her last day at nursery, and although she is more than ready to move on to new chapters, we will miss everyone at Acorns dearly.
