RAFA Kidz is a charity supporting the Royal Air Forces family by delivering affordable and nurturing early years childcare. Each of RAFA's settings offers a welcome and secure environment along with fun and educational activities.

RAFA Kidz is a not-for-profit trading subsidiary of the RAF Association and focuses on providing the children and their families with the best possible service.

All additional income is invested back into the nurseries to ensure staff are knowledgeable and the children have access to excellent resources.

The girls at Rafa Kidz Boulmer have created such a loving, safe and nurturing environment, for all children that attend their center. The staff take time to learn each child as an individual and to create strong bonds. My daughter talks about her key workers on a daily basis, even refusing to let me
do her hair and will wait for the staff at nursery to do it for her. The learning through play environment is carefully thought through, to ensure all children are able to access age appropriate activities. My daughter is thriving and is safe in this setting, by reading her body language and communicate with staff. The staff go above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable. This is reflective in the strong bonds staff form with the children. Words are always followed through with action and I'm so lucky such a practice exists in the community.

My daughter has been entrusted to this wonderful team from baby to pre-school. There aren't words for how grateful I am for the care they have taken with her, so I've tried a poem!
For all your patience day to day,

We honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery. As a first-time Mum, I felt naturally anxious about sending my child to nursery, but from the very beginning they put me completely at ease. The staff are incredibly experienced and are so warm, kind and caring, it's clear how much they enjoy what they
do.
Our little boy has settled in quickly and is absolutely thriving. He is always so well cared for and has a big smile on his face when I come to collect him. The outdoor space is incredible too!
Communication is excellent, which gives us real peace of mind. I really value the regular updates and photos, it's reassuring to see what he's been doing and how happy he is. We feel very grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery for our little boy.

My daughter has been with nursery for a few months now and she is doing amazing although she can't talk she shows she loves nursery how fast she runs through the door without a second thought. Staff have always been brilliant never feel like your hand over is rushed always happy with their feedback.
She eats well and seems to enjoy all her meals always take safety seriously and remind families to update all information regularly. Overall myself and her dad are very happy with choosing RafaKidz and look forward to watching her grow here.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was just six months old, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions we've made as parents.
From the very beginning, the staff have been exceptional. They are attentive, nurturing, and genuinely invested in every child's wellbeing
and development. It's clear that they don't just see this as a job - they truly care. Our daughter absolutely loves going in each day and has thrived in their care. The bonds she has formed with the team speak volumes about the warmth and consistency they provide.
She attends four full days a week, and we have complete confidence in the support, structure, and encouragement she receives. The communication with parents is excellent, and we're always kept informed about her progress, activities, and achievements.

Rafaz Nursery has been fantastic from day one, my daughter had terrible separation anxiety. The staff provided reasurrance and care towards my daughter who for a few weeks just wanted to be carried everywhere! They developed a strong relationship and after a few weeks encouraged her to feel safe and
secure enough to play and enjoy her time there doing various activities. My little girl now loves going there and often doesnt want to leave when I collect her.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are excellent - genuinely caring, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make the children feel safe, happy, and supported. There is a fantastic range of activities every day, keeping the children engaged, stimulated, and excited to learn and
you can certainly see it in my child.
Communication is outstanding. I'm kept well informed about my child's day, progress, and any important updates, which gives me real peace of mind. The outdoor space is a huge bonus and is accessible throughout the day, allowing the children plenty of opportunities for fresh air, exploration, and active play.
Overall, this is a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment, and I would highly recommend it to any parents looking for childcare

My child has been at the nursery for over a year and has absolutely thrived in the care of the wonderful staff at the nursery. The staff are friendly and so helpful. I love to see the updates of my little one and what they have been doing that day! Each day they have a new educational activity. I have

The staff here are absolutely excellent, the care they show the children and their families is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, they have been extremely supportive. Very informative handovers when collecting my little one and great communication in general. Meal choices are a great variety

I can't fault Cranwell RafaKidz. The staff are brilliant and clearly really care about the children and their development. There always feels like there's a restlessness and desire to apply new thinking, try new activities, adopt more training, offer additional activities and shake up the way the rooms
function. All of this, plus brilliant communication and care, is what makes RafaKidz really stand out. Couldn't recommend them enough.

We have had two children at RAFA Kidz Brize Norton and have been part of the setting for over 3.5 years. During that time, we have consistently been impressed with the care and support provided. Both of our children have been incredibly happy there and have grown so much in confidence. It's been wonderful
to see how comfortable and secure they feel each day. The staff are kind, caring, and genuinely invested in the children's development and wellbeing. The nursery provides a wide range of engaging and creative activities, helping the children learn through play while developing important social and life skills. Communication with parents is also excellent, which gives us real peace of mind.
Overall, we truly cannot fault the nursery and would highly recommend it to all our friends. It has been a fantastic experience for our family.

This nursery is absolutely outstanding. The staff are approachable caring and understanding. The setting is beautiful. They do fantastic activities. My child has came on leaps and bounds coming to Rafa Kidz Boulmer. The confidence he has brown, his speech has improved and gross motor skills have improved
his physiotherapist is really impressed! We will be very sad when the time comes for our child to move settings we wished he could stay there forever! I highly recommend this nursery to everyone who asks what nursery my child goes to.

RAFA Kidz in Longhoughton is fantastic. All of the team have been super friendly and professional and our son loves his time here. The app is updated with photos regularly so we know what our child has been doing, and always a friendly handover talking about all the great things they've been doing.
Communication is really good from the team. I highly recommend this nursery!

My little boy really enjoys coming to the nursery and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. He always comes home happy and smiling when I pick him up him up and always has fun. Very good nursery.

This nursery had been fantastic for my child for 3 years. Couldn't fault their treatment of my child especially for the last 16ish months before the the final month or so my child's time here. At the end though, they failed my child on a number of occasions. Leaving my child entire days without any
food, because they wouldn't offer an alternative (yet still charged for said food), leaving my child unattended long enough to draw on cupboards etc - despite receiving extra funding for my child's extra needs. Spoke to the new management - and they continued to fail my child that very same day. I would no longer recommend, especially for a child with extra needs.

I highly recommend this Nursery. The facilities are well maintained and allow for great activities and exploration for the children. The staff are always on hand for advice and give a thorough run down of the day at pick up.
