If a nursery has been reviewed in the last two years, you'll see its Nursery Review Score, rated from 1 to 10. The score reflects three things:
- How many reviews a nursery has received
- How recent those reviews are
- How families have rated their experience
It's a useful starting point, but the reviews themselves tell the richer story, and they're always worth reading when you're considering a nursery.
Why we score it this way
Families need a score they can trust. Using only recent reviews keeps ratings fair and accurate. And by using the quantity, quality and the recency of their reviews, the score reflects how a nursery performs today, giving families a clearer picture and nurseries recognition for the care they deliver right now.
