Fennies Woodside has an absolutely great team and they will work with you to ensure that your child's needs are met.
The communication is great and the staff all think of the extra activities and contributions that can make the child's experience even greater like 'the fruit bowl' each day a fruit bowl is left out with fresh fruits for little ones to take a snack on their journey home and the kids all look forward to it and I know this one little idea along with many other contributions have gone a long way.
You get what you pay for plus peace of mind.
Happy energetic diverse staff members and spacious clean space with many activities to keep them busy and occupied while keeping learning fun.
The app is always kept upto date and I can monitor my child's sleep pattern routine, toileting routine and eating routine.

He's happy so that keeps us happy

What an amazing nursery! As this was our first child we were anxious about what to expect. But they were helpful, accommodating and made the whole process really seamless. They are incredibly personable, they remember everybody's name, every child name and come up with lots of events so you can meet other parents.

The nursery itself is incredibly clean. The food options are really good and the activities they do daily are really sweet. They think a really good themes for activities during the day. And the outside space is 2nd to none. They are also really good at updating you throughout the day on your child's movements and very actively use the app to communicate with you. I would recommend this nursery to all parents!

Our daughter started at Fennies in April 2025. She is now 11 months old. As with any new parent there is a certain level of trepidation about your child starting at nursery but all of the staff we have encountered at Fennies have been brilliant. All the staff are very loving and caring towards our daughter which has been lovely to see and has made the transition much easier! She is always happy and excited to see her key worker which helps with morning drop offs and they are very accommodating to the our daughter's individual needs when they arise.

My daughter has been going to Fennies Woodside since 9 months old. She's now coming up to 2.5, and I can honestly say it's been the best experience so far. The nursery always feels fresh and clean, well-organised, and offers a wide range of fun, educational indoor/outdoor activities. The staff are caring and attentive, and the assignment of a key carer/buddy really supports each child's personality and needs. My daughter has built strong bonds with her key carers, especially during her time with the explorers and transition to discoverers, and this lets me know she feels safe and happy. It's always reassuring to see long-term staff retention. Their attentiveness to each child and their individual needs and milestones is always considered and supported. Communication with parents is fantastic, we love seeing the daily updates/photos and observations. My daughter always comes home excited to share her day. I'll be sending my second daughter there too, confident she'll be well cared for.

Really welcoming group of staff, they take time answer questions and want to make the process as easy as possible for parents and kids. Prior to joining staff, made you feel welcome and part of the process with lots of check ins, and after starting, have been so helpful with helping my child progress socially/physically and mentally.

As a parent, I feel so happy about the nursery. The quality is top-notch. The carers are very lovely and nice. The support I receive from the whole team is fantastic. I would surely recommend this nursery for kids. The only thing to keep in mind about this nursery is a place to get in. The places are very limited due to the demand. So, plan at least a year ahead.

Our daughter has been at Fennies for 4 months now and absolutely loves it, she is excited when we drop her off and full of beans on pick up. She has grown really fond of her key workers both from when she initially started in Ducklings and again with her more recent workers in Swans. All the staff and carers are fantastic, and create a warm and loving environment and provide interesting and varied activities each day. We get regular updates on the app regarding meals, nappies and activities and the food menu is like that of a London restaurant! We're thrilled to have joined Fennies and we know our daughters thriving, growing in confidence and creating great friendships every day.

Lovely staff, clean environment, good learning. My daughter has been at this nursery since September and she her speech has improved alongside her physical development. Since starting in September, my daughter has made great progress in both her speech and physical development. The activities are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to help each child grow at their own pace. I love how the nursery encourages creativity, social skills, and independence while making learning fun. I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my child receives here. As first-time parents, we were nervous about sending our daughter to nursery, especially as she was learning English as an additional language. From the start, the staff went above and beyond to support her, using effective strategies to help her learn the language and thrive. Now in preschool, we're amazed by the thoughtful activities set up daily that encourage her to learn, solve problems, and challenge herself. Her teachers have also helped her develop self-regulation and emotional skills, which has greatly improved her ability to express and manage her feelings, benefiting her mental health.

We also love how everyone, including the management team, knows our daughter personally and shares anecdotes about her, showing how much they care. The management team creates a welcoming atmosphere, making parents feel at home while ensuring everything runs smoothly. We're so grateful for the exceptional care and education our daughter has received. This nursery truly goes above and beyond.
