Our annual Nursery Awards 2023 recognises 20 of the top rated Nurseries in each region of the UK based on reviews from parents/individuals responsible for a child.

The Awards are based on the Individual and Group Review Score, as of 28th April 2023, for a full breakdown of a Nursery's Review Score please visit the 'Reviews' tab on its profile page.

Please note there is no ranking within each of the Top 20 Nursery awards. The current nursery review scores on the website do not reflect the review scores at the time of the awards.

Eligibility Criteria for Individual Nurseries:

1. Being listed on daynurseries.co.uk means you are eligible to be considered for an award
2. The awards are based on the review score at the published cut-off date of Friday 28th April 2023 (not your position as listed on the website, the review score can change on the website any time up to and after the award cut-off point)
3. Must have at least 5 reviews published between 30th April 2022 and 28th April 2023.
4. Regulatory compliance is required as per our specified criteria - click here
5. If a nursery receives a downgraded rating and receives an enforcement action or has their registration cancelled within the year following the awards announcement, the award will be removed from the profile page
6. Nurseries will be excluded from the awards or have their award withdrawn if there is a breach of our review policy prior to or following the awards (e.g. we discover fraudulent activity)

Our annual Nursery Awards 2023 recognises the Top 20 Day Nursery Groups in the UK based on reviews from parents/individuals responsible for a child.

There are 3 categories in the Nursery Group Awards:

• Top 20 Large Nursery Groups 2023 (10+ Group Members)
• Top 20 Mid-Size Nursery Groups 2023 (6-9 Group Members)
• Top 20 Small Nursery Groups 2023 (2-5 Group Members)

Please note there is no ranking within each of the Top 20 Nursery Group awards. The current nursery group review scores on the website do not reflect the review scores at the time of the awards.

Eligibility Criteria for Nursery Groups:

1. The awards are based on the review score as of the published cut-off date, not your position as listed on the website (please note that the review score can change on the website at any time up to and after the award cut-off point)
2. The Group Review Score is derived from the average of all the Review Scores of its Members with a Review Score. 75%+ Members of the Group must have a Review Score before a Group Review Score can be achieved
