The Nest Nursery is a family-run nursery providing children with a unique and homely setting where they can thrive and develop. There are four settings for children up to the age of five years.

The nurseries have a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor learning and discovery. Each offers extensive gardens and outdoor areas, as well as a Forest School to encourage children to explore their environment and the world around them. The Forest School is lead by a fully-trained level three Forest School practitioner. Extra-curricular activities, including a variety of weekly music sessions, are available to all children at the nurseries.

Children are encouraged to develop healthy eating habits and lead healthy lifestyles. They receive balanced meals and snacks at the nursery which are freshly prepared onsite by the in-house cook.

I cannot fault the Nest Nursery in any kind of way. Since the day my daughter started, they have shown her so much kindness and care, even in the SMALLEST of details. Amaiyah spoke very early whilst at nursery and they continued to allow her to develop at that rate until now. I cannot thank them enough
honestly. The Nest nursery was the best decision I made for her.

We feel incredibly lucky that our children have had the opportunity to be part of the Nest. They both adore their Nest teachers and have built long-lasting friendships within the loving, nurturing and inclusive environment that the Nest provides.


We are so impressed with all the staff at the Nest

- their warmth, empathy, playfulness and enthusiasm are truly remarkable.


They have also been incredibly supportive and have helped us and our children to navigate a difficult period in our lives - their kindness, flexibility and understanding have meant so much to us and have helped us massively.


The Nest's approach has also helped our children develop so much and really shine! We can't speak highly enough of their focus on child-led discovery, imaginative play and social-emotional development - a 'home-from-home' experience that values children's individuality and well-being.


We couldn't be more grateful to the Nest for their generous and insightful input into our children's lives.

We have been using the Nest Nursery - Wood End, for almost 6 years. It has a lovely, calm and nurturing environment, and the staff and management really care about not only your child, but you as a family unit. The house has a variety of areas to play in and a large exciting garden to encourage imagination.
My children have had access to a wide range of experiences away from the nursery setting too, including forest school, family trips to the beach, theatre and to the local shop, exposing them to valuable life skills. The staff keep you up to date with photos and stories from the day and there is regular feedback to discuss your child's progress and development. They cater well to dietary requirements and make sure that children are safe, but not left out during meal times and if they're doing a baking activity. It is reassuring knowing that when you have to work, your child is safe and loved. Can't thank the team enough!

My daughter joined the nursery in September 2025 at the age of 2. During the short space of time she has progressed so much with her speech and behaviour.


The staff are great, every staff member has always been friendly , and genuinely seem like they enjoy being around the kids. The routine, activities

, garden area and they take the kids out for messy play. Everything is very thought out for the kids.


Was hesitant to send my daughter to a nursery at first but the nest really does feel like a home away from home for my little one.

How can I start to explain the beauty of The Nest Nursery and our experience there?


We joined The Nest with our middle child 2 years ago after a tricky time in a different nursery. From the first time I made a phone call, staff have always been friendly and courteous. They make such a big deal of

the children and show them so much love and support. Not only do they support the children, they extend this to the families. Many times, I've gone in feeling upset or stressed and the staff always offer a kind word or a hug.


They also organise events regularly where families can go to the setting together to spend time with other families, share food and enjoy some music together. Such a beautiful family feel.


Both of my children have blossomed at The Nest and it makes me sad to know that we don't have long left with them. They feel like family to us and I'm so pleased that my little girl has so many extended aunties who love her and care for her.


Thank you Nest Nursery. We love you!

The staff at The Nest settled my little boy incredibly, with so much care and compassion. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The environment provided is so homely and inviting, with the children's learning at the forefront. All children are encouraged to be independent, and their
individual autonomy is valued. The admin is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful with fees and funding.

Our daughter has attended the nursery since 2022 and from the first day right up until now we can only praise the nursery and all the staff for all the care, support, learning and love they have willingly provided for our little girl. She is always very happy to attend the nursery and often does not
look back as we gave goodbye. We have seen our daughter grow from a baby to a toddler to an infant and the journey has been a beautiful one for all.

My daughter has attended the nest since she was around 9 months, she is now 4 and ready to fly the nest.
The nest has impacted our lives in such a positive way. Forest school and the curiosity approach has really encouraged her independence with a true and love for being outside.
My daughter often
comes home excited to share how her day has been. The nurturing environment, caring and friendly staff have allowed her to thrive.
I am so grateful to all the staff for showing unconditional support, love and care over the years. You have created a wonderful environment to allow all children to grow in creativity and confidence. You will all be missed!

We have been incredibly impressed with The Nest. My daughter started attending at 13 months old, and she settled extremely quickly. This is because of the care, patience and warmth that has been shown by each of the wonderful staff members. They took the time to really understand my daughter's individual
needs, which made for a really smooth transition from home to nursery. Daily communication is excellent, with regular observation updates on the app too. The provision at The Nest is outstanding and my daughter just loves it!

My son started at the Nest almost a year ago and has settled beautifully. He has built a really good relationship with the baby room staff and often talks about many of the ladies at home. He is always very keen to go to nursery, and recently has started refusing to leave when we pick him up. This tells
me he is very comfortable within his nursery environment and has lots of fun there. I see regular app uploads of him playing, exploring, going on outings and being creative. It's lovely to see photos of him at nursery playing with his friend. He eats a wide range of healthy home cooked food and often likes to say goodbye to the cook before leaving. The Nest has a wonderful garden area, my son loves to explore the mud kitchen or run around with the trucks. Staff are very welcoming, always have time to talk to you and are very kind and friendly! A real 'home from home' environment with a lovely family feel.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! My son who was 9 months old has settled in incredibly quickly and is always so happy to see the staff who are truly wonderful which really puts my mind at ease as a worried parent. They are friendly, supportive, and create a warm atmosphere that makes every
visit enjoyable. The meals provided are nutritious and delicious, and the gorgeous rooms are full of new exciting experiences for my son to explore . The free flow nursery setup, along with the stunning garden, offers a fantastic environment for the children to explore and learn it has a really homely feel to it . Thank you to the staff for creating such a positive experience for my son. It's the perfect environment for him to feel happy, comfortable, and safe. Highly recommend!

One of the best nurseries we've been to by far. The setting and ethos is well planned around children and their development. The Forest School is amazing and there's always little trips for the children and involvement of parents. You will always see the manager with the kids taking part and being involved.
The manager and all the staff are always approachable, polite and have your child's best interest at heart and their dedication is seen at all times. Would highly recommend!

Both of our children have attended/attend The Nest Nursery at Pype Hayes and we honestly can't speak highly enough of them!
From the staff to the facilities - everything is just wonderful.
We weren't keen on the more 'structured approach' of a school nursery, although this would've been an easier
option for us with travel arrangements etc, but the Nest are so good, it was a no-brainer to stick with them!
The level of care from staff is second to none. They really do treat your children like they are their own! And it's not just support for the children, it's for families as well.
The facilities and opportunities and encouragement for a child to learn through their own imagination are brilliant.
Both of our children have thrived/are thriving from being at The Nest - we definitely made the right decision and can't recommend them enough!
Thank you to all at The Nest Pype Hayes for all you've done/are doing for our little Nestie children.
They couldn't be in safer, more kind hands!
