The team is dedicated to offering the highest quality of care and education for children aged 9 months to 11 years. The village is just a three-minute drive from the main A52 route to Skegness making Butterwick an ideal setting for commuting and local parents alike. The preschool is easy to find, friendly and has the local community at the heart of what the team do.

At Butterwick Preschool, staff nurture children to become independent, caring and resourceful members of society with family values and community at the heart of what they do. Established over 20 years ago, they pride themselves on being an integral part of not only the early education of local children but as an extension of support for families. My child has been attending butterwick nursery for about 6 months. The staff have always been really attentive towards the child's needs. Staff constantly play and interact with the kids. Staff always keep in touch regarding child welfare. My child has really come out of thier shell since attending
and thier speech has increased massively.

My daughter has attended this setting for around 9 months now, the staff have always been very welcoming, supportive and had the care of my daughter, and us as a family, at their best interest from the very start. Acts of kindness, going above and beyond, particularly in big life changes at home, and
offering unquestionable support.
They are always providing engaging activities and sourcing resources or opportunities to help my daughter and other children thrive in a comforting environment.
I feel very grateful to have a lovely team to care for my daughter.

Butterwick has been amazing with the support with my son and meeting his needs and also support myself and has adapted around him. He has improved so much that we didn't think he would have through the nursery. The team are very welcoming, friendly and understanding.

This nursery is absolutely incredible. My child has additional needs with her mobility and the staff at Butterwick have been outstanding. They have allowed my child to come on leaps and bounds by supporting her other her physio and even offering support where needed with any questions I have. The team
feel like a family and they really make the nursery a safe place away from home. My daughter has progressed more than she ever would have without the support of the staff and team at the nursery and me and my husband will forever be grateful for everything they do for her. AMAZING!!

I am very happy with the services provided by Butterwick nursery. The staff are amazing, kind and caring, they really do care about the children. Butterwick Nursery is an excellent nursery. Everyone no matter which part of the nursery you are in everyone is always welcoming and nothing is any problem. My granddaughter absolutely loves the setting and everyone there.The activities are well thought out for everyone to enjoy. It's an absolute joy
to take and fetch my granddaughter plus it's a joy knowing that my granddaughter is well looked after when there. Can't praise this setting enough absolutely outstanding. Thanks to all.

I want to give the biggest thank you to this amazing nursery. Three of my four children have been here, and each one has loved it just as much as the last. The staff are genuinely some of the kindest, most caring people ive met . They always make sure the children have a fun and busy days from walks
outside to creative play and learning activities and Nothing is ever too much when you have a question or query.
My youngest started attending at just 11 months old and still attends and absolutely lights up when he sees them - they feel like family, and seeing the special bond he's made with them that means the world to me Knowing he is safe, happy, and loved every day is priceless. I would recommend this nursery to anyone x

An excellent setting with the most thoughtful bunch of staff. They make the setting so warm and inviting. Each morning our little girl is greeted at the baby room door with open arms, smiles and laughter. All expectations have been met at Butterwick and I am so pleased as a Mummy to know my little girl

My little boy absolutely loves going to butterwick pre school. The staff go out of their way to make sure all children have the best days and experiences. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Having daily updates on collection and the app uploads are amazing to hear and see.

Our daughter has attended Butterwick Pre-School since September, we are so impressed. The ladies are all caring, bubbly and chatty.
The outdoor play and opportunities to not be cooped up inside all day are incredible.

Best nursery going. My son has settled in so well and always comes home smiling. The staff are like an extended family that my son is happily enough to run over to any member of staff with his arm open wide.

Love this nursery and so does my little girl. Always has lots of fun and is excited to see the wonderful ladies who will go above and beyond for all the children and parents. My little boy also attended this nursery before moving onto school which he adored the ladies.

I feel so incredibly lucky that my Son is attending Butterwick Pre-School & getting to start his school journey here.
In such a short period of time, he has built wonderful bonds with the ladies & feels right at home in the setting. He has become so much more confident all round since starting.
The
ladies are always happy to help, take the time to listen, are warm, welcoming & friendly. They really show the greatest care in every aspect. The ideas they have to teach & show the children new things are brilliant. I also love how much time my Son gets to spend exploring outdoors.

I can't rate the team at Butterwick highly enough, I wouldn't feel comfortable sending my children anywhere else now! The team go the extra mile to ensure that they build a bond with all of the children, learning their likes & dislikes, routines & habits, needs & wants.
My eldest two children attend
afterschool club, on their own request as they thoroughly enjoy spending time there & the activities planned for them.
My daughter has been attending since just before turning 2 and has settled in amazingly. My daughter is showing signs of additional needs & has really benefitted from the size and atmosphere of this nursery, she isn't just a number. The team spend extra time settling her on arrival, allowing her to suit her routine and really try to engage her, allowing her to move between the 'baby room' and 'toddler room' depending on her needs on that particular day. They honestly just go above & beyond and I couldn't be more thankful. Xx

The ladies at Butterwick provide a safe and caring environment for my child. They have been accommodating for us to do a slightly earlier drop off to fit in with the school run also.
My child loves going to pre-school to learn through play and the fun activities the ladies put on for all the children.

Our granddaughter has been at the nursery for 4 months now. She is so happy and quickly settled there. We have certainly seen with our own eyes how her interaction with the staff and her peers through play and the activities has helped her thrive, flourish and given her confidence as she grows. We
receive regular updates both verbal and in words and pictures from the staff and we are kept notified of any important updates, news or events directly and we feel very informed about our granddaughter's life at Butterwick nursery and we are very grateful that she is part of this wonderful setting.

Job Title: Director of Education

I am a qualified teacher for children aged 3-7. This gives me the knowledge and experience to implement our educational curriculum in a way that supports children through their early years journey and will stay with them throughout their school transition and beyond. I am extremely passionate about our children gaining experiences in our settings far beyond the realms of a typical nursery or preschool so that our children develop a love of learning, exploring and being curious about the world around them.


Outside of work I am a mummy to two daughters aged 10 and 2 years old who keep me on my toes but also my inspiration for my career. We love the theatre, animals big and small and camping. We are big foodies so enjoy going to different restaurants together after one of our little family adventures. As I get older I am trying to travel more and experience new places and culture.
