Fresh food is very important and healthy eating will get children off to a good start. They have its own qualified in-house chef who freshly prepares healthy, well-balanced meals. All snacks, drinks and meals are provided for children throughout the nursery day.
The team are fully qualified and in total have over 85 years of child-caring experience between them. The team prides itself on attitude, patience and creativity to ensure all children receive the best care possible.
The nursery is structured across five different rooms, based around age groups. The age bands are not ‘set in stone’ so children move between the rooms when the time is right for them. The rooms are bright, happy places to inspire the children as they learn and develop.

I absolutely recommend sunshine nursery it is a beautiful nursery in an amazing setting . The staff and management at this nursery, are kind, caring, efficient and have been outstanding for the last 3 years. They have guided and cared for my daughter in the most loving professional manner and she absolutely loves going. The app they use is brilliant and gives you updates and instant communication with your child's key worker if needed. The staff are always available to chat about anything regarding my child's needs. Ive never felt rushed or not heard. Their play and learning has always been fun, creative along with a great healthy menu.

Fantastic experience at this nursery over the last few months, and feel like my daughter has really settled there despite my initial worries of being away from her. The staff are amazing; they're friendly, professional and caring. When we've raised concerns we've been listened too and the staff are so understanding - unlike other settings we've been in, I've never felt judged for raising concerns or asking for specific things for my daughter. Staff are only too happy to meet us with what we want for her. I really feel like my daughter's time at nursery isn't just necessary, but is so beneficial to her for development and having another safe space outside of family. Every time she comes home she has the biggest smiles and we hear all about the great day she's had. I would recommend this nursery, and its staff especially, to other parents in a heartbeat.

Since Storal have taken over they DO NOT CARE! They are there for money and that's it. My youngest attended and we have moved her away. Her milk allergy is worse and they no longer care about keeping her safe (this isn't at her key worker as she is amazing the Storal is not). Senior management told...
Storal policies are not easily accessible to parents and things they often quote as "legal requirements" are in fact "a nurseries preference" two very different things. The previous ownership was filled with workers who loved working for the company and doing their job. It now appears Storal do not value experienced, knowledgeable staff and would rather employ a large volume of apprentices and not supply robust training schedules for allergies and other SEN needs in an attempt to keep their profit

One of the biggest reassurances for me is how excited he is to go in in the morning he's always happy, which says everything about how much he enjoys the staff and his time at nursery. I also really appreciate the regular updates and photos shared throughout the day!

We have found the nursery to be very accommodating and there have never been any unhappiness from the children about going in which is a clear sign they enjoy it. Since the change of ownership the changes have been positive. Any concerns over the years we have had have been swiftly dealt with.
My son has recently started at this nursery and is getting on amazingly well, all thanks to the lovely staff and key people. I'm always fully informed on how he got on while there that day, which is amazing. Also I love the app and all the updates they make my day.

Sunshine Nursery School are just incredible. From the moment my son started with them in the baby room right through to the poppies. They give him the support he needs and I never have any worries, my son has complex medical needs and I never worry when he's in their care. They all amazing and helping him with transition to starting school this year. Also wanted to say how great the nursery cook is and caters to everyone's needs she is so lovely too and always makes sure my son has all he needs with his nutrition. I am going to miss everyone in September when my son starts his specialist school but I know my child wouldn't be where he is today without everyone at sunshine nursery school.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 9 months old and it has always been brilliant. When he was in the baby room they were amazing about following his specific feeding and sleeping routine. Every room he's been in since has also been great. He is currently in poppys. Two staff members in particular are amazing with him. They are so good at knowing his individual interests. They are so much fun with him but also work to make sure he is able to learn to listen to instruction and get prepared for school. Shannon has such good knowledge of the locals schools which as a first time mum was so helpful and reassuring. When my child was in sunflowers he was potty training and one of the staff was so supportive. I would recommend the nursery to anyone (and do!) and I think it's the staff that really make it special.
