Hydra Tots Private Day Nursery

Hydra is a fantastic nursery with staff who care and engage well with your children and parents. My daughter attended from 10 months old until she was 4 years old, and she loved going. The preschool room she enjoyed so much that she would ask when she was going everday so she could see her friends and her favourite teachers, Demi, Daisy, Bex, and Laurey. Right from the beginning, I felt satisfied that Hyrda Tots could be trusted to look after my little girl. They are always accommodating to your needs, and I feel I could rely on them to look after my daughter and watch her grow and learn. I would highly recommend this nursery, and although it is slightly more expensive than some others, it is worth every penny.

Excellent nursery! My Son attended age 1 until 4 when leaving for Primary School. He loved going every day, the staff are lovely. Lots of space and great facilities. The level of care and learning is such a high standard. Highly recommend Hydra Tots, could not fault them at all.

My little one has just finished up at Hydratots after being there since April 2022 and I couldn't recommend it enough. It is an incredible nursery with lovely caring management staff that actually know your children's names even though they aren't the ones spending every day with them which I find such a nice touch. My daughter was cared for by a multitude of staff over her years there but I have to give a special mention to two ladies in particular who had my daughter in butterfly room and moved up to preschool with her. They are soooo lovely and just friendly and I know how much they cared for my daughter and helped her nurture relationships. Pick ups and drop offs were my favourite time just because I would see how happy my daughter was to be going there and she made some incredible friends and learnt so much. She was quite a shy girl and her confidence came on leaps and bounds and I owe all of that to the girls at the nursery I know how much they built her up to make her come into her own!!

My child is at Hydratots for almost over a year now, and they are amazing! She loves so much to go there! She started on sunshine, then rainbow and now on butterfly, and we always feel so welcomed! Thank you so much for all the staff and management!

She eats a wide variety of healthy food and the communication between us as parents and staff is excellent.

Absolutely great Nursery.

My little one joined the nursery in January 2025 after we relocated to Sheffield. The management team was amazing helping securing him a place with the days we needed and the girls in the butterfly room have been absolutely fantastic settling him in and helping him feel at home here. Thank you so much.

Both my children have attended Hydra Tots and love it! The staff are brilliant and I have no issues or concerns leaving my children there. The indoor playframe is a great feature as they can still burn off lots of energy even when the weather is bad. Overall great nursery and I highly recommend.

My daughter is loving her time at hydra! I never have tears upon leaving her and I'm always greeted with big smiles upon picking her up. Her key worker has made my daughter feel so loved and welcomed and I feel safe and happy leaving her there. You can tell Hydra is family run and concentrates on the well-being of the children. I couldn't have picked a better nursery if I tried!

I feel that the nursery is a very safe place for my child.

The staff are all amazing- from the nursery workers to the office staff/ management, everyone really seems to care so much about the children/parents' wellbeing. I am really reassured knowing that my son attends this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of sending their child here. Thanks for all you do.

The nursery is an exceptional and nurturing place for my 2 children. The eldest has grown so much, both emotionally and in her learning experience. The staff are incredibly polite, dedicated, focused and always have the child’s best interests at heart. I recommend Hydratots as a great place for learning.

I can't praise this nursery enough and I am so grateful my little girl goes here (and soon to be my son.) The nursery have been fantastic at settling my little girl in who was nervous at first but they really worked with her at her pace and she loves to go now! I get brilliant handovers, the staff are great and you can tell everyone that works there truly enjoys what they do! I can't wait for my little boy to start as well.

My little girl has been going here since March 2023, it's an amazing place, my little girl had to move from her previous nursery as they were closing and one of the directors showed us around and is so lovely. My little one found it difficult at first but two members of staff were amazing with her and really can't thank them enough, they have brought her on so much I will be sad when my little one has to leave. It's one big family everyone is great and friendly, make you feel at ease, nothing is a problem they will help in any way they can.

I think Hydra Tots is an outstanding nursery that prides themselves in focusing on each individual child’s needs. The staff are very welcoming and informative regarding what kind of day my child has had and what he has been up to etc. They have also helped my child develop in ways that I didn’t think were even possible, he is so comfortable and happy here. I am so glad that we chose Hydra Tots. I can’t thank them enough, I have and will always recommend this nursery to others. It’s a lovely, happy and clean nursery.
