Footsteps Day Nursery Llanbradach

My son had a wonderful time. Although he was only there for around four months, he grew in confidence so much during that short period. At the beginning, he would get upset and miss me, but very quickly he was happy to go each day.

He often came home singing nursery rhymes and was always cheerful after his morning. It has been a fantastic stepping stone between being at home and starting "big school."

The staff were absolutely amazing with him. He will really miss them and the friends he made. (Have to mention as well, they helped us in reducing his two comfort toys down to one then to zero!)

Thank you all so much for having him and taking such good care. We'll miss you all!

We have nothing but amazing, positive feedback to give about the Nursery, staff and the overall experience we've had with Footsteps. Our daughter has had the best time while in their care and comes home happy to tell us about her day every time. Our little girl would get upset when being left when she started and as a mother seeing the care the staff gave her spending time to just comfort her and cwtch her in the way a parent would shows the compassion each member of staff have treating the children in their care like their own children really made us feel at ease. We cannot thank the staff enough for all they do!

My Daughter attended Footsteps since June 2024, just before she turned 2. Every member of staff, in both rooms that my daughter attended have been fab! I cannot fault anything with Footsteps and I highly recommend this nursery if you are thinking of sending your children here. My daughter is shy, and needs lots of reassurance and each TA that my daughter was with, always ensured that she was always reassured and always seen too and always comforted. I loved the app for updates! I was able to see what she had eaten and photos uploaded if their activities during the week! If there was any queries they were always a message away and I never felt like a bother. Each member of staff was approachable, friendly and polite. I will be using Footsteps when my baby number 2 arrives and I go back to work. Thank you all for being so amazing! Teaching my daughter new skills and helping her be more confident and learning everyday when she was at footsteps.

Footsteps Nursery has been an incredible part of our lives for the past two and a half years. From day one, the staff were warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they do. Our child has flourished in every way - emotionally, socially, and academically - thanks to the nurturing and engaging environment they create. The team tailors learning to each child, and the daily updates and photos kept us connected every step of the way. It's clear how much love and care goes into everything they do. We're so grateful for the strong foundation they've given our child and couldn't recommend Footsteps more highly!

My son has been going to nursery since he was 6 months old and now he is 2 years old. The staff are amazing, and welcoming and always put the children first. My son loves going to the nursery and loves the variety of messy plays, activities and all the new equipment/ toys in the room. He thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery, the majority of the time he runs in and says bye to me which is amazing and so reassuring. On collection, they always give a handover of what the child got up to that day and how he's been even though you can see everything on the app for you to access yourself as well as regular photos. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone needing childcare. You will not be disappointed. There is a large variety of meals offered so he doesn't have the same thing each week. I am very happy with this nursery and 100% chose the right one.

Our daughter attended Footsteps from January 2019 to August 2021, and after such a positive experience, we had no hesitation in choosing Footsteps for our son, who attended from October 2022 to January 2025. The staff are truly outstanding and a real asset to the nursery. Their genuine love and care for the children made it much easier as parents to feel confident and reassured about leaving our children in their care. Since the new owners took over, they've introduced several improvements, including updates to the nursery's decor and outdoor area, as well as implementing the app. The app has been a brilliant, easy to use and provides daily updates on our son's activities, meals, and photos, which we always look forward to seeing. We would highly recommend Footsteps to any parent!

When I first came to Footsteps for a visit, I knew I'd chosen the right place. Since my child started it has exceeded my expectations. The girls are so kind, helpful and thorough. Really love the app too and most important of all my child loves being there!

The girls at footsteps are brilliant. My daughter started in January and it was a massive change for her; the way they care for all the children and make them feel so comfortable is brilliant. My daughter absolutely loves going and we are absolutely gutted that she will be leaving this month. I couldn't have wished for a better bunch of girls too look after my child, nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they are just amazing at what they do.

My daughter has been in Footsteps Day Nursery since September 2024 and as someone who was extremely nervous to put her child in nursery, I couldn't have asked for a better nursery with better staff. My daughter is absolutely thriving and gets so excited to go to nursery. The staff are wonderful and have helped us with any issues we have, my daughter is obsessed with the girls who work there and you can tell they all love the children they work with. Wouldn't dream of putting her or any future children in a different nursery.

Amazing staff. My grandson is always happy to go to nursery. The activities supplied are always so engaging for the children. Nothing is ever too much for them. He is well cared for and all his needs are met. Amazing nursery.

Everyone at Footsteps have been amazing. Our son came to them so shy, had maybe 10 words at the age of 2 and a half and he's absolutely blossomed while there. The girls there can't do enough for you and always keep you updated with what's happening in the day. I can't recommend them enough.

Amazing nursery, amazing staff, staff are always hands on with the children, always lots of different activities. Staff are always polite and welcoming, couldn't recommend a better nursery.

This nursery is a wonderful place. The staff are always warm, friendly and welcoming. My grandson absolutely loves going to nursery. He has so much fun and enjoys all the activities set by the nursery. The care and nurture at the setting is second to none.

My son has been going to Footsteps Day Nursery since he was 18 months old, but even at that age I noticed he was developmentally delayed, so I was hesitant to place him into a daycare but choosing Footsteps was the best decision I made. My son is now 4 and has been diagnosed with autism but the ladies at Footsteps are marvellous with him! His social skills amaze me and it's all thanks to the ladies caring for him and the children are all so kind and patient too! I'd also like to mention the manager who does the scheduling in the office as she's on the ball with everything and even when my son was transitioning to nursery at his school, the nursery made a daunting process so easy for me in regards to paperwork and support. It is such a weight off my mind knowing my boy will skip into that daycare and is so well looked after by such an amazing team!

Always caring for the little ones, the staff always have a smile for the children and give cuddles and understanding when needed. They've been a huge help and support for us. Have used them for many years.

Choosing a nursery for our first child was a daunting experience but we couldn't have chosen a better nursery. The staff there are so lovely and always smiling when our little boy arrives. For the first few weeks, he was a little nervous but they made him so welcome he now knocks on the door and walks in without even looking back he's so excited! Every day we get updates on the app about his day from what food he eats, nappy changes and photos from the day. It always gives us a smile seeing how much fun he's having and helps us to plan his evening meal knowing what he's had through the day.

Since joining nursery he has developed so quickly and his social skills have come on so well being able to play with other kids on a regular basis. We were so pleased with the nursery we recommended it to a friend whose little boy is around the same age and now they are best buds!
