Holyrood Warrington is one of several nurseries owned and operated by Thrive Childcare & Education. Located in Grappenhall, Warrington, the nursery prides itself on providing outstanding care for the children and families that use the setting.

The nursery consists of four well-proportioned rooms and provides care for children aged 3 months to 4 years and 11 months, based on their age and stage of development. The nursery also benefits from an outdoor learning space, which is available to all age groups.

Parent partnerships are a vital part of nursery life and this is promoted from the day you come to look at the nursery. The team works closely with parents to ensure that all of the children’s individual needs are catered for.

Caring and professional practitioners offer a wide range of learning activities tailored to each child’s interests, as well as linking learning to their experiences at home.

Children’s meals are made fresh on site each day ensuring a healthy balanced diet, all prepared in line with recommended nutrition and portion size guidelines.

The nursery is located in a residential area close to Warrington town centre and within easy access to the M56 and M6 motorways, providing routes to Manchester and Birmingham.

My two precious granddaughters attended Holyrood nursery in Warrington. The youngest leaving in August 2025. Their time spent at the nursery was a very happy one. Where they thrived, making many friends and building strong connections with the wonderful staff. I cannot praise the staff enough. They
are kind, caring, very knowledgeable about children's needs and the EYFS. Over the years I got to know several of the staff. They always welcomed me into the setting no matter what time I came or how busy they were, taking time to tell me about my granddaughter's day and what they had been doing. They should be very proud of the important job they do and the difference they make to children's development. I would like to thank them and wish them all the very best for the future.

We have had a wonderful experience at Holyrood Warrington. The facilities are excellent and spaces well equipped for all ages. My children especially loved the outside areas. All staff are very caring and approachable and obviously enjoy their jobs which is nice to see. The preschool nativity was such
a special moment. We moved from another local nursery, everyone was very helpful with the transition and it was the best decision for us. Highly recommend this nursery. Thank you to all staff.

We find staff so lovely and caring and would not want our children anywhere else. Wonderful facilities, Great communication and a lovely environment to be a part of.
10/10 in our opinion and we are lucky that Holyrood is close for us.

My daughter started her journey at Holyrood Nursery in November. The manager and the team have been fantastic from day one. Despite my daughter being a late starter they still found her a spot to play in the Nativity for Christmas which was beautiful to watch. Upon returning after the Christmas break,
my daughter was very ill, they did everything they could to support her and the situation, which I am most grateful for. I would like to give huge thanks to the manager and her team for providing such a warm welcome for my daughter.

My daughter started at Holyrood Nursery a month ago and she absolutely loves it! No matter what mood she is in, as soon as we get to the front door she has a big smile on her face and leans towards the door to go in. I enjoy the weekly pictures of her playing at nursery and completing the numerous activities
they do with her! The communication between staff and the parents is brilliant, they always let you know how they have been at the end of each day as well as let you know of any upcoming events they will be celebrating.

The nursery is absolutely amazing the staff are so friendly and wonderful with the children, The manager is fantastic she is extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help. I have two children in the nursery, one in preschool and one in the baby room. Both my children started at 4 months old and from the day they started I have felt the care they have received has been excellent. The staff are great and I know my children are being looked after well.

Both my boys have been attending Holyrood since they were 9 months old. My eldest is now in Preschool and my youngest is in toddler 2. All the staff in all rooms are fantastic and very friendly. They do great activities and promote diversity by celebrating/explaining different events. Both my kids seem
to prefer Jay's cooking over mine and eat a variety of meals! The boys play lots outside and really enjoy the sports sessions. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I have two children at the nursery (ages 8 months and 3 years) and my eldest started at 9 months old and has attended the nursery since then. My youngest has just started and has settled in amazingly. My eldest loves going to nursery, has always built fantastic relationships with the staff, and is very
happy there. The staff are lovely and provide fantastic learning and development opportunities for both of my boys. The variety in food is fantastic and I feel that they are allowed to eat a healthy and varied range of food. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been with the team at Holyrood Nursery for a while now and seems to have loved every minute. The staff in the baby room have been great at accommodating her and caring for her needs on a daily basis. They have kept myself and my partner updated on our daughter’s day with regular updates
via the app and our daily handovers.

The nursery has gone above and beyond to settle my son in. They have helped him regulate his emotions and supplied identical resources for home to support the continuity between home and setting. They have supported him in learning BSL as well as Makaton (which they already did) to support his younger
sister who is deaf, they have given him opportunities to tell his friends about the cochlear implants his sister will be receiving. Nothing is too much for them. The activities they plan are engaging, fun and educational. As a parent you are kept well informed of what is happening at the setting, the staff are welcoming and friendly and always ensure they take time to give you details of your child's day. The menu is fantastic and has a great variety for the children. My child runs in happily every day and is excited to go.

Since my little boy started, he has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are incredibly friendly and he is settling in so well. I can't speak highly enough of the nursery and will definitely be recommending it to others! We've not been here long but we already feel part of the family.

My little boy absolutely loves his time at preschool. Like my daughter before him he settled in nicely due to the staff making such an effort to get to know him well. They have new and exciting things prepared for the children every day and never miss an opportunity to celebrate an event and get all
the children involved. My son considers all of the staff his friends and I’m not always sure if he’s talking about someone his age or an adult when he talks about his day. His key worker has been absolutely wonderful and after our daughter attending previously it really feels like she’s part of the family. I couldn’t recommend the preschool/nursery any more.
