Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.
The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.
Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.
Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.
The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

Issa thoroughly enjoys his time at Nursery Rhymes. He is happy to wave us goodbye at the door and excited to spend the day with his friends.
We got a real sense of a home away from home when we first visited and felt at ease so knew immediately this was definitely the nursery for us.
The staff have been outstanding from the baby room to the toddler room and now pre-school. The well thought-out daily activities are very impressive. Chef Iain's meals are delicious and as parents it's great to know that Issa has eaten so well at nursery.
Nursery Rhymes has played an integral role in the developmental milestones achieved by Issa and we are so grateful for the care and attention received.

Our daughter attends Nursery Rhymes Stoneygate, and it's been a great experience. The staff are warm, patient and clearly care about the children. She goes in happily most mornings, which says a lot.
We especially appreciate the daily updates on her meals, naps and activities. They make us feel connected even on busy workdays. There's a good mix of play, outdoor time and early learning, and we've seen real progress in her confidence and social skills since she started.

Choosing Nursery Rhymes Stoneygate has been one of the best decisions we've made. After a difficult experience elsewhere, we were anxious when our eldest started at one, but it quickly felt like a home away from home.
The staff are warm and approachable, and communication is excellent. Our eldest has always been happy there, and his confidence, speech, independence and social skills have flourished. The nursery goes beyond childcare, offering enriching outings, from park trips and bus rides to pantomimes, plus practical life skills and support with home routines.
Chef Ian deserves a mention too! He's a celebrity in our house, with our eldest regularly asking me to recreate his meals.
Chloe, Ella and Jasmine have been wonderful key workers, but the whole team knows and cares for our child. Our youngest is now settling in, and their attention to his allergies has been so reassuring.
We couldn't wish for a better start for our boys or recommend the nursery more highly!

The team are lovely-warm, caring and full of patience. Looking after little ones is a busy job, and we really appreciate the kindness and effort they put into it. As parents, knowing our children are in good hands means such a lot.

It's a really well-organised nursery with a lovely community feel, and the children benefit from a fantastic range of activities, plenty of outdoor play and well-balanced meals. The staff are brilliant at providing handovers and regular updates, so we always feel informed and involved in her day. It's been wonderful watching her grow and develop at Nursery Rhymes, and we're so grateful to the team for all they do.

The staff have been incredibly supportive throughout her journey, and it's been lovely to see how much she has grown in confidence and developed during her time there. She has recently transitioned from the baby room to the toddler room, and the team have made the move such a positive and smooth experience for her. It's reassuring to know she is in such caring, supportive hands, and she genuinely enjoys going to nursery.

Special shout out to Chloe Powell, what an exceptional young woman she is! She looked after both my girls and honestly she is amazing! The way she cares and always goes the extra mile...she has become a part of our family and is considered a big sister by my girls. All the carers here are amazing! We all want the best for our child, we all try to do our very best for them and choosing where they should go to nursery is an important step in their development. I and my wife are both very happy with leaving our daughter at Nursery Rhymes, the whole team there are exceptional people, the amount of care they provide is incredible and wonderful to see. As parents is hard to hand over your child yet through the day we have updates via an app, kept in touch with photos, nappy changes and what they have had to eat. Wow! Attention to detail and reassuring us Mums and Dads all is good. We are 4 weeks in and we have seen so much progress, learning is key and through fun, laughter our girl is doing great. We cannot recommend Nursery Rhymes enough, make an appointment and see for yourself. Many thanks Neil

Nursery Rhymes Stoneygate is a great nursery. It has an ethos that seems to filter from baby room all the way through toddlers to preschool. I've had both my boys attend this nursery at different ages and they work closely with you to make sure your little one is settled and has a routine that works with your family. I have had very understanding responses from them at each interaction and they have a great bunch of people working there. My 18 month old walks in so happily with each of his people, not just a key worker we love their extra activities they put on and have formed a lovely relationship with the nursery. The food is great too Ian! X

This is a beautifully maintained nursery with the best staff. They are all so lovely, friendly and caring, and you can tell they genuinely care about the children. I love things like they have a no shoe rule and high staff to child ratios. It really shows they make effort in all ways they can to make it a clean, homely environment for the kids. Our daughter has settled in really well and is always happy to go in, which gives us so much peace of mind. We get regular updates about her day and it's so nice seeing and hearing about all the things she's been getting up to and how she's been developing.
We're really grateful to all the staff for looking after her so well and always considering our concerns. It's lovely knowing she's somewhere she's safe, happy and well cared for. We would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents!

Our daughter attended Nursery Rhymes from just 6 months old until 4.5 years, spending nearly four wonderful years there. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing nursery or better staff. Every transition, from baby room to toddlers and then preschool, was handled with so much care and support. Nursery Rhymes truly feels like a family, which made leaving for school incredibly emotional. It genuinely felt like saying goodbye to part of our family. The transition to school has been brilliant, largely because of how well preschool prepared the children for the next stage of their adventure, building their confidence and excitement. Even now, she talks about Nursery Rhymes and how she can't wait to go back and see everyone. And one thing is certain, our food at home will never quite live up to Ian's!
We'll always be so grateful for everything Nursery Rhymes has done for our family.

Home away from home is how I can describe this nursery for my child. All 3 of my children have attended this nursery and my youngest is there currently. I couldn't be happier with the level of care my children have and are receiving here. They have great activities, learning material, amazing staff and a variety of healthy nutritious meals. I have complete peace of mind when my child is here and seeing the constant updates of what they have been up to during the day reassures me that they are learning, eating well and most importantly having fun.

My daughter has been going to Nursery Rhymes for almost a year now and she absolutely loves being there, she can't wait to jump out of our arms every morning. The staff are wonderful and build genuine relationships with all the babies and they provide plenty of updates and pictures to put parent's minds at ease. We were a little bit cautious sending our daughter at such a young age, but it has been an amazing experience for her and she has come on leaps and bounds.
