We've had such a positive experience with this nursery. The team are great at communicating and keeping us updated, they take an interest in my daughter's development and it puts our mind at ease. My daughter has made lovely friends and enjoys going in every day. Her dietary needs are always carefully
considered and is provided with balanced meals.

My daughter has been attending this nursery from 10 months old and is now 2.5. we cannot fault the nursery and all the staff at all they're amazing. they're always available to talk to and you're always met with friendly, kind faces. my daughter loves going into nursery and she has developed so much
since going here! staff are always supporting the important milestones such as potty training and doing lots of fun and educational activities. I will always recommend Marton Nursery to anyone asking we have never had any issues.

The nursery is amazing. The staff are unbelievable, they are so helpful and friendly. My daughter is currently going through to be assessed for ADD, ADHD and autism and the staff within martonside daycare have been well and truly helpful to get me in the right direction for the next step. My daughter
is beyond excited every morning to go to school.

Marton Childrens Day Nursery have been absolutely amazing since my little girl started there nearly a year ago, she learns so much, has fun and is always happy to go to nursery. The communication is great, updated with meals, sleep times and nappy changes which I think is important to know how your
child's day has went and gives me peace of mind. They send you photos, showing you what they get up to and always reply quickly if you need to get in touch. They have always been flexible, helpful and generally just overall an amazing nursery and I am so glad my daughter goes here.

My daughter started at marton day nursery in December last year and has settled in really well. She is a Velcro baby so not having me in sight was a bit upsetting for her but the staff have all been wonderful with her and have taken the time to reassure her and comfort her really well. She now goes
in without any problems and really enjoys her time there. The staff are all great and keep me informed throughout the day. It's also great that they have an app where they can let me know what she has eaten as she is a fussy eater. I wouldn't take her anywhere else now. I fully trust the staff from here and as a parent trust is really important when it comes to our children. I couldn't recommend them enough and have told my staff if they're looking for a nursery this is the one.

I was nervous sending my son to nursery when he first started in August 2024, the staff were brilliant with both me and him and he settled in really well and quickly. He has such a good relationship with the staff, he always comes home happy and smiling and telling me about all the fun stuff he has
done that day, his learning and skills have improved so much since starting nursery, they have supported him with appointments in the nursery from speech and language and kept me informed of the outcomes.

Started my little boy here when returning to work. He has had a great time in the baby room and now enjoying the older room. Staff are always lovely and give a great rundown of his day. Meals are varied and lots of updates of his day throughout the day on the app. Management are lovely and always helpful.
My son loves it here

My daughter is very nervous and anxious about nursery and leaving me.
However the staff at Marton are very enthusiastic with my daughter in the morning, engaging with her as soon as she enters, this is so overwhelming to watch and settles nerves of my own. My daughter's speech and language have dramatically
improved since attending and I can only thank the staff for their patience and love, I can also see the improvement in her attitude and behaviours to attending the setting. The staff communication with myself and my husband is excellent, always on hand to listen to any concerns regarding our daughter, I have recommended the nursery to others as it is a fantastic setting, I have 3 children my older two did not attend Marton however I wish they did and I truly think they missed an opportunity at a great start in life not attending Marton.

Since my child has started nursery, he has progressed by leaps and bounds with his learning and vocabulary. His confidence shines through. The way he gets excited to go to nursery puts my mind at ease that he is comfortable in his surroundings. And he loves all members of staff.

I cannot fault the nursery at all. Every member of staff I have met is kind, bubbly and easy to talk to. You can see the way they care for the children and keep families involved. They have supported me with my daughter's health issues and the ridiculous amounts of antibiotics she has been on. The nursery
is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and just amazing they have supported me when I have been stood crying over behaviour and arranged help which has made a massive difference. I will be absolutely gutted when my girl goes to school because I know if she is poorly they know her and they know how to manage her and have learnt her little quirks. Amazing team who I trust with my not-so-little baby!

Absolutely an amazing nursery with lovely staff! My daughter is always so excited to go. They always serve wonderful home cooked meals, giving my daughter a chance to try more types of food than she could at home.
Handovers are always jam packed with information regarding what my daughter has done
that day, as well as app updates.
Couldn't recommend more.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.948)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.948) out of 10 for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 37 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 37 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.948 for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (422 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 444 Ratings = 4.948
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is based on 37 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 97 number of registered child places is 19.4, which has been reached with 37 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
