Blackbrook Nursery School provides childcare and early learning for children aged two to five years old.

The nursery has excellent indoor spaces which are age-appropriately designed, giving children the best opportunities to grow and develop.

The children start in the Early Learner Room and move into the Reception room around the age of three.

Physical play is an important part of development and children benefit from music and movement sessions and trips out into the local community. The nursery has an outdoor play area, giving the children ample opportunity to explore the world around them.

My little boy has been coming here since April 2024 and has always enjoyed coming to the nursery.
He is now in the reception room and loves it just as much, all the staff are amazing, really attentive to all of the children and provide amazing care and learning.
They really do go above and beyond
for all of the children in the nursery, the cook is also amazing who cooks amazing home cooked meals which my son also loves! It always smells delicious on pick up!
I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
I'm currently pregnant and when the time is near my unborn will hopefully attend this nursery as well!
Thank you to all the staff at Blackbrook, you guys are amazing and when my little one leaves to move on to big school we will definitely miss you! X

I would recommend this nursery to anybody! I'm just gutted it took us a while to find Blackbrook as we had a not so great experience somewhere else, however, our little boy has absolutely thrived since being at Blackbrook. The staff are brilliant with him and can pin point at what he is excelling in
and areas he can improve, they are great at supporting him, ready to start school in September, he will be so sad to go but it is because of the nursery and staff that he is so confident and ready to go to school! They have a scheduled day to prepare the older children for what a school day looks like, embedding lessons in the day and things such as school readiness (writing/recognising their name tags without a photo, getting socks and shoes on ect). I can go to work leaving my child at nursery and feel 100% comfortable that he is happy and well looked after. The staff treat him as if he were one of their own and genuinely love and care for all the children. We couldn't ask for more.

My daughter started at this nursery in February 2025, and I only have positive things to say!
The staff are so friendly, kind and supportive and you can see they all love their jobs! They put so much time and effort into the children in their care and it really shows. Watching my daughter develop her
skills over these past few weeks has been lovely, she has come on leaps and bounds since starting and I can't thank the staff enough.

My daughter has been attending Blackbrook Nursery School for 2 months, and our experience has been wonderful. The staff is caring and attentive, creating a warm and nurturing environment. She has learned so much, from social skills to early academics, and she loves going every day. I truly appreciate

My daughter has come to Blackbrook Nursery School since October 2024. The staff are fantastic with her, they're always on hand if we ever need advice/guidance for anything and nothing seems too much trouble for the staff either. It's a lovely nursery.

Very helpful and listen to any problems you have, very patient with you too and handover is lovely. My little girl loves it there she's made so many friends and learnt a lot while she's been there. Definitely the perfect choice to send your child to.

Fantastic staff and nursery.
My son started in January. Having only ever been around myself and his older siblings, I was so nervous as was he.
The staff were absolutely amazing and he settled quickly and adores everything and everyone there, coming out telling me ''this is a good nursery, Mummy''.
Wouldn't
recommend anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing nursery! My little boy has struggled with attachment issues with being a covid baby and at first, I thought I would never be able to get him to stay in the nursery without crying all day, but he’s made a special bond with the team and he now has amazing days in and I couldn’t be more
grateful to them for how supportive and how much time they’ve taken into making my boy settle into his new environments! His speech has come on incredibly, and learning new things everyday with the range of amazing activities that the nursery has to offer, from different activities each week! I absolutely love this nursery for everything they have done for my boy!

After my daughter having the worst experience at a different nursery, I was hesitant to leave my daughter in anyone else's care, I had heard amazing reviews of Evolution Childcare, Blackbrook Nursery School so I took the plunge and asked to look around. I was blown away straight away with how the nursery
is run, staff members and children are so welcoming and friendly, we felt so at ease straight away and my daughter didn't want to leave. I instantly signed her up and we went through the process of induction days to settle my daughter in, there were a few tears but the staff soon settled my daughter and even stood at the window with her so she could wave at me and her dad. Fast forward to now and my daughter gets so excited to go to nursery, she has settled in so well and even though there are no more tears, staff still pick her up so she can wave at the window. We're always welcomed with a good morning and a smile, staff are amazing and have put our fears to rest over our daughter being in a nursery again.

Both of my children have attended this nursery from 2021. Staff are brilliant and withheld a brilliant standard. Excellent management and very easy to talk to when my child is sick or if there are any issues.

My wife and I have a 3-year-old son who has attended this nursery for the past year.
Our son has been in nursery from a very young age as we are both working parents.
Previously they were at a different local nursery but we were not pleased with; safeguarding, child development, cleanliness and staffing
issues.
Since transferring our child to this nursery, his mental and physical development has been brilliant.
The staff are attentive and work with each child individually to create a mutual bond and understanding of character.
The staff regularly update us with what is happening in nursery and provide photos of our son enjoying the activities via the app.
I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough, I am happy that I have found an established nursery with a great reputation that continues to grow.

Amazing nursery and staff, they do their very best to support my child as well as myself too, they always go above and beyond. I couldn’t wish for a better nursery for my child and her development, I wish she could stay there through all her young years, through primary school as they make her very

My child has been coming to this nursery since August 2023. Since starting Blackbrook my child’s personality, development and speech have come on immensely. He has made a great relationship with his teachers and made some friends too. Blackbrook go above and beyond and I recommend this nursery to anybody
who’s looking for a reliable, flexible and safe place for their child to be in.

I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for my son to attend. The staff are amazing and very helpful with both children and parents. The amount of flexibility they can offer is astounding especially when you change jobs meaning nursery hours need to decrease or increase, super helpful where possible.
My son loves attending nursery everyday and has shown personal growth due to the caring nature of the team they have working at the nursery. He is so confident within himself and with other children. He is more than ready to move on to primary school in September and I have the lovely staff to thank. Always fun and Entertaining activities for the children and a fantastic garden area for outdoor play.

My little boy has just started at Blackbrook. He acts like he's been there for months! He loves all the staff (he is a little ladies' man). The staff are very supportive, knowledgeable and provide great learning experiences for the children. He enjoys the meals provided by the chef too. Recommend Evolution
to everyone it's a great nursery. Can't wait to see what the next 2 years will bring!

My little boy started here just 4 months ago and has made massive progress in development since. The staff go above and beyond for all the children, thinking outside the box for different activities to do with them. So I have 2 children at Blackbrook, my daughter moved last year and my son started a couple of weeks ago, they absolutely love the nursery, they’ve learnt so so much whilst being there. My son is deaf and they are incredibly Makaton friendly with him as we teach him and I love that the nursery also
teaches Makaton to the other children too. I know I’m leaving my children in a safe, clean and happy environment which obviously puts your mind at ease a lot, the staff are amazing with the children, they're extremely friendly and help you with any issue, any concern and any problems you have, you know you can talk to them and they’ll help as much as possible. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, which I have recommended it a lot to people and I forever will! One of the best nursery’s in Warrington.

I have worked for Evolution Childcare since 2007, firstly working at the Stables mostly working between two rooms, Reception and Early Learners and I progressed to the Reception Room Manager.

I received my B-Tech National Diploma in Early Years in 2006 at college and started at the Stables a year later. I have received extensive in-house training and have gained certificates in training courses that have supported me to progress in my personal development.

In addition, whilst at the Stables, I had been the Stables Events and Equal Opportunities officer. This means I took control of organising events each month for the children, parents and staff, documenting these events and ensuring the children are aware of differences and cultures.

In 2017 I was promoted to 3rd In Charge which developed my knowledge of the operations of the nursery and gave me an opportunity to work alongside the Stables manager during training exercises. In 2019 I was promoted to assistant Manager at the stables.

In January 2020 I moved over to Blackbrook as the assistant manager and continued to work with my manager and the manager at Kalgarth gaining valuable training and knowledge. In September 2020 I was promoted to Nursery Manager at Blackbrook.

I have really been enjoying my time at Blackbrook, it has been great to work with a variety of different people from various backgrounds. I have supported families and children through lots of different experiences. I really do love my job as the Nursery Manager at Blackbrook, working alongside an amazing team of practitioners and all our families and children.
