Danielle and the girls have been amazing in my children's nursery transitions. We made the decision to move my son September last year from another nursery franchise and we haven't looked back, we also moved our daughter earlier than expected when they opened their toddlers room. I can't thank the team
at blackbrook enough for the incredible care and kindness they've shown both of my children. They have gone above and beyond to make sure they are happy, safe, and supported every single day. They make sure you are updated every month on what the children will be up too and it's always jam packed with something for all to enjoy. Especially for my little boy the girls have been amazing with his potty training and supporting him through any of his day to day struggles. You can really see that they really do care for your children and you can feel at ease leaving them. I will always recommend blackbrook to anyone. Best decision we've made for our little ones. I wish we found them earlier! x

My son has attended Blackbrook nursery for around 18 months and since day 1 he has absolutely loved coming! The nursery staff are amazing with the children! They always have fantastic activities going on and encouraging children to learn and play together in a lovely environment keeping everyone entertained
and engaged in their development on a daily basis, I'm always in awe of the constant visual changes in the rooms too. The children are always well catered for and I often want to come for lunch myself because it smells delightful everytime I collect my child from nursery. Overall fantastic nursery

We are so happy with how our little girl has come along after starting here after being at another nursery , her confidence and speach has come on so well we see a complete change, she looks forward to going nursey when it's her days in and she even says (yay nursery day) she runs through the doors,the

My grandson and I always receive a warm welcome and he settles in quickly. The staff keep us informed on what they have all been doing that day and how well he has eaten. Having been forced into a change of nursery due to Matilda's closing unexpectedly, we decided on Blackbrook for a number of reasons and everything from initial communications with Danielle to Matilda's transition has been wonderfully straight forward, clear and has exceeded expectations every step of
the way. Matilda is thriving with the support of the staff there and even myself and my wife feel more 'part of the family' than we ever did at her previous nursery. To feel like you are walking into a family members house every time you drop off or pick up your child is testament to the kind of warm, supportive environment that is created by all who work at Blackbrook. I can't thank the team at blackbrook enough for the incredible care and kindness they've shown my little boy. My little boy has been coming here since April 2024 and has always enjoyed coming to the nursery.
He is now in the reception room and loves it just as much, all the staff are amazing, really attentive to all of the children and provide amazing care and learning.
They really do go above and beyond
for all of the children in the nursery, the cook is also amazing who cooks amazing home cooked meals which my son also loves! It always smells delicious on pick up!
I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
I'm currently pregnant and when the time is near my unborn will hopefully attend this nursery as well!
Thank you to all the staff at Blackbrook, you guys are amazing and when my little one leaves to move on to big school we will definitely miss you! X

I would recommend this nursery to anybody! I'm just gutted it took us a while to find Blackbrook as we had a not so great experience somewhere else, however, our little boy has absolutely thrived since being at Blackbrook. The staff are brilliant with him and can pin point at what he is excelling in
and areas he can improve, they are great at supporting him, ready to start school in September, he will be so sad to go but it is because of the nursery and staff that he is so confident and ready to go to school! They have a scheduled day to prepare the older children for what a school day looks like, embedding lessons in the day and things such as school readiness (writing/recognising their name tags without a photo, getting socks and shoes on ect). I can go to work leaving my child at nursery and feel 100% comfortable that he is happy and well looked after. The staff treat him as if he were one of their own and genuinely love and care for all the children. We couldn't ask for more.

My daughter started at this nursery in February 2025, and I only have positive things to say!
The staff are so friendly, kind and supportive and you can see they all love their jobs! They put so much time and effort into the children in their care and it really shows. Watching my daughter develop her

Fantastic staff and nursery.
My son started in January. Having only ever been around myself and his older siblings, I was so nervous as was he.
The staff were absolutely amazing and he settled quickly and adores everything and everyone there, coming out telling me ''this is a good nursery, Mummy''.
Wouldn't

Absolutely amazing nursery! My little boy has struggled with attachment issues with being a covid baby and at first, I thought I would never be able to get him to stay in the nursery without crying all day, but he’s made a special bond with the team and he now has amazing days in and I couldn’t be more
grateful to them for how supportive and how much time they’ve taken into making my boy settle into his new environments! His speech has come on incredibly, and learning new things everyday with the range of amazing activities that the nursery has to offer, from different activities each week! I absolutely love this nursery for everything they have done for my boy!

After my daughter having the worst experience at a different nursery, I was hesitant to leave my daughter in anyone else's care, I had heard amazing reviews of Evolution Childcare, Blackbrook Nursery School so I took the plunge and asked to look around. I was blown away straight away with how the nursery
is run, staff members and children are so welcoming and friendly, we felt so at ease straight away and my daughter didn't want to leave. I instantly signed her up and we went through the process of induction days to settle my daughter in, there were a few tears but the staff soon settled my daughter and even stood at the window with her so she could wave at me and her dad. Fast forward to now and my daughter gets so excited to go to nursery, she has settled in so well and even though there are no more tears, staff still pick her up so she can wave at the window. We're always welcomed with a good morning and a smile, staff are amazing and have put our fears to rest over our daughter being in a nursery again.

My wife and I have a 3-year-old son who has attended this nursery for the past year.
Our son has been in nursery from a very young age as we are both working parents.
Previously they were at a different local nursery but we were not pleased with; safeguarding, child development, cleanliness and staffing
issues.
Since transferring our child to this nursery, his mental and physical development has been brilliant.
The staff are attentive and work with each child individually to create a mutual bond and understanding of character.
The staff regularly update us with what is happening in nursery and provide photos of our son enjoying the activities via the app.
I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough, I am happy that I have found an established nursery with a great reputation that continues to grow.

Danielle

Danielle Mason

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2007

I have been employed by Evolution Childcare since 2007, beginning my career at the Stables site, where I worked across both the Reception and Early Learners rooms. In 2015, I was promoted to Room Manager in Early Learners and later moved into the Reception Room as Room Manager.


Throughout my career, I have completed extensive in-house training and gained a range of certificates that have supported my professional and personal development. Alongside my core role, I also held the position of Stables Events and Equal Opportunities Officer. In this role, I was responsible for planning and organising monthly events for children, parents, and staff, documenting these events, and promoting awareness of diversity, culture, and inclusion within the setting.


In 2017, I was promoted to Third in Charge, which further developed my understanding of nursery operations and provided opportunities to work closely alongside the Manager, including supporting training exercises. I was then promoted to Assistant Manager in 2019, where I worked with a range of managers and gained valuable leadership and operational experience.


In September 2020, I was promoted to Nursery Manager at Blackbrook. I thoroughly enjoy my role and take great pride in the positive impact we make on the children in our care and their families. Most recently, we have opened our under-twos provision, and I am excited to watch it continue to grow and thrive.
