Kindred Odstock nursery is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Odstock is nestled in the village of Odstock in Salisbury. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years and is are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (with session times to suit your needs). The nursery has an impressive large outdoor space and innovative indoor environments.

They are passionate about loose parts play and follow a Reggio-inspired approach to learning and development. The staff have immense respect for the children and work hard to captivate and ignite their interests.

We were lucky enough to secure our daughter's spot at this nursery. From day dot they have been highly communicative, pragmatic, caring, and successful! Our kid is forming social bonds, she's sharing, she's learning, she's exploring. It's wonderful to see.

Our son has attended kindred odstock since October 2024. I love the connection with the app from the nursery to us as parents to see what our son has been up to that day/week and the fact you can see what he has eaten during that day/week also.


The staff are truly amazing and so welcoming. From

the minute we walked around the nursery and seeing what the nursery has to offer our son we knew as parents it was the one.


The confidence, care and constant support to help our son grow is amazing. We know that our son is safe and secure and the nursery have the children's best interest at all times.

I'm so glad we chose Kindred Odstock. Their people really set them apart.


Something I notice whenever I go and pick up my son is that the staff are, without fail, on the floor with the children, playing and interacting with them. I've never once seen a member of staff 'hanging around'. I don't know

where they all get the energy from, but they're so animated with the children from the start of the day until the very end.


When my son first joined Kindred Odstock, I really appreciated how they accommodated my wish to settle him in gradually. Rather than having a rigid number of settle sessions, they went at my child's pace (and my pace, as a nervous first time mum). One time my child was really upset at drop off, which in turn made me upset. They showed such kindness and understanding, taking the time to sit with the both of us until we felt better. I could have felt embarrassed but they showed such kindness and understanding. I really appreciated that.

Our son has been attending Kindred Odstock baby room since October 2024, from the moment we attended the open day we knew this was the nursery for us to have our son attend!

The difference in the confidence, sharing and gentleness towards others he is showing is incredible, he has learnt so much
in a short period of time and for this we are truly grateful to the staff for the work they do to help him learn and grow!


The staff are all welcoming, we love the use of the app to provide updates and show off what our son has been achieving. Our son looks forward to ringing the doorbell every morning to see what awaits him behind the door for the day,
with different activities inside and outside the baby room, it's lovely to see how much they have to offer.


With our son being a big lover of food, the variety of foods the nursery has to offer it's great to see!

My son has recently joined kindred from another nursery and the difference in him is unbelievable in such a short time. It's such a supportive nursery that really takes the time to understand each child. When we have asked for extra support for him they have actioned this immediately and nothing has

Are daughter has been attending nursery 2 days a week in the baby room since September 2024. She loves arriving to see the girls (staff) and is always eager to take off her coat and see what activities the day has in store. Out daughter loves playing inside and out and it's lovely to see her doing both
with nursery, exploring outside in her all in one overalls in the snow and ice as well as in the sunshine exploring the garden. She always seems to have a fulfilling variety of food which always sounds lovely, they have always stuck by our dietary requirements and willingly change them when we instruct them to do so. Are daughter never wants to leave at the end of the day always wanting to continue playing with her friends and to staff.

Our son has been attending kindred odstock since early 2024. From the first settling session we were put at ease after feeling that it was a home from home setting. Which our son would benefit from. The staff are amazing and so caring to the children. Our son's personality has flourished in the past

Our son has attended Kindred from the baby room and he is now due to move from Toddlers up to Preschool. We have felt very comfortable from the beginning with the care he receives, he is so well cared for and he absolutely thrives. They are always so interested in his likes/dislikes and current interests
and he learns something new every day. I cannot fault the nursery at all, I'm so pleased we picked this one.

Lovely nursery with such a wonderful group of members of staff. They are super sweet and amazing with the children. My toddler absolutely loves the nursery and the activities etc, at times she doesn't want to go home. Staff are great esp. with my toddler's needs and allergies.

Our son has been at Kindred Odstock for nearly a year now, watching him grow and develop has been a real delight. The staff have gone above and beyond to support and settle him helping him adapt to our unique family scenario with his dad working away for weeks at a time. Seeing him create friendships
with others in his class and work through toddler boundaries has been well-supported by the staff. Regular updates through the app allow us as parents to feel assured he is in good care whilst also updating us on what he has been learning. I would highly recommend Kindred Odstock if you are considering a nursery, the staff are beyond friendly and they provide an environment for your child to thrive.

My eldest daughter started Kindred Odstock Day Nursery and Pre-School when she was 11 months old in babies class, then toddlers and is now in pre-school. I find all staff very supportive to her needs. They have supported her to develop her ability to manage her emotions whilst continuing to encourage
her creativity and energetic approach to daily activities. She loves the staff and environment. The staff will contact me to keep me updated on her progress or concerns.
We did not hesitate to register my son for the nursery before he was born. He started at 9 months and after support from all staff, he has grown to really enjoy the nursery environment. Our son is very different to our daughter and the staff treat them as individuals recognising their needs. They keep the same key worker for siblings which has really helped us, as parents, feel safe and help provide good communication during our second babies transition to nursery.

Over the past six years, both of our children have attended Kindred Odstock Day Nursery and Pre-School and the standard of care has consistently been exceptional. The staff are truly outstanding! They are caring, warm and possess a deep understanding of each individual child. They care about our children’s
interests and development and their commitment to practicing respectful care is evident, whilst they also excel in nurturing self-belief and independence in the children. The environment, both indoors and outdoors, is predominantly child-led, providing them with the freedom to explore their imaginations while also offering structured activities. Our daughter particularly enjoys the giant sandpit, the loose parts room, as well as engaging in activities like rugby and forest school. I like that the meals are nutritious and freshly prepared at the nursery and that there is an app to keep us updated on photos, payments, meals etc. Our children have had an enriching time at nursery and are well-prepared for school.

Such a fantastic nursery. Both of our boys have attended and although each very different in personality, they instantly settled and made friends with both staff and other children. The enrichment activities are great and they do so much more at nursery than we could probably provide at home.

Kindred Odstock is a great nursery setting. They’ve been amazing with my daughter who has special needs and they are supporting her in every way they can. They support her sensory needs and interests so she can develop to her best potential. They make necessary adjustments to accommodate her needs which
we are grateful for. The staff are lovely, kind, patient, understanding and experienced. They communicate well with us (parents) via the app where they update us with the achievement and development of our daughter which is great. Fantastic and supportive nursery that really took the time to help settle my little girl. They accommodate her vegan diet fantastically, and the menu looks lovely, and my girl seems to love her meals.

It has been a pleasure to send our son (now three) to Kindred Odstock for the last couple of years. He has really enjoyed his time there and it's been great seeing him progress and constantly grow in confidence with his own abilities and his relationships. He started in babies and is now in the pre-school
room, where they are exploring ways to build on his interests to extend his learning. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I love how much safe outside space there is and how the children are encouraged to take part in extra activities such as 'Rugby Practice' - a firm favourite! We are due a second child in May and have already signed him up to start in 2025. We look forward to our children continuing their journey with Kindred over the coming years and think it has been a great start in the heart of the community we live in.

My little girl attends Kindred Odstock and I cannot fault the place. All the staff are so lovely and you can see how much they make an impact on the children. My little girl is always excited to go into the school and never says bye. Especially when they were gearing up for Christmas and learning all

I worked alongside the then manager to set up and develop the nursery and with the embedding of our ethos and practice, which we are still so passionate about today.
I began as the baby room leader and then I stepped up into the position of Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave. I maintained that position and have since been promoted to Nursery Manager.
I feel really passionate about respectful care in young children and strive to create strong relationships between adults and children. In March 2019 I got the chance to visit Budapest where I took part in a week’s course to understand more about respectful care and how important freedom of movement and relationships are for young children to develop and to feel safe and secure within their environment.

My career in childcare started in 2018 when I was an apprentice working towards my Level 3 in Childcare. After completing this qualification, I wanted to try a new and bigger setting, so I moved to a nursery and had the opportunity to step into the deputy manager and SENCO role to cover maternity leave. During this time, I studied for my Level 4 and Level 5 Foundation degree.


My journey at Kindred Odstock started in February 2025, where I became the deputy manager and SENCO.


I am dedicated at supporting children to achieve their full potential. I champion SEN and want to ensure that both children and parents receive the correct outside support.
