Kindred Odstock Nursery and Pre-School

Not overcrowded.

My little boy started in toddlers in January&has absolutely thrived. The staff are great at meeting his needs&special interests-he loves balls! He's settled so well&now goes in with no tears, which makes a huge difference to the start our day! We couldn't be happier with the setting, special thanks to Darren&Victoria

My son enjoys his time in nursery and has gained so much confidence, his social skills and speech have improved massively and he enjoys all the planned activities. The staff are friendly and approachable and are now like our extended family. My other children enjoy pick ups as they are greeted warmly by all the staff and make sure they all have lots of cuddles before they leave. Jess and Chloe always go the extra mile for us and adapt to our circumstances. They also give practical and moral support to us as a family when needed.

My son has been at Kindred Odstock for 5 months or so now and he loves it! The staff are excellent and you can tell he really likes them and all the fun things they get up to. I love how much outside play he gets as well as the various things they get up to inside...

I feel he has come on leaps and bounds with everything, speech, walking, confidence, social skills have all improved massively whilst at Kindred.

We've had such a lovely experience at Kindred Odstock Nursery. I've had two children attend over the years one is now 10 and it really means a lot that some of the same familiar staff are still there. That kind of consistency says so much about the nursery and the caring environment they create. The countryside setting is beautiful and peaceful, and for me, working at the local district hospital, the location is just perfect. The hours are also incredibly helpful, with early drop-offs from 7:30am and pick-ups until 6pm, which makes busy days much easier to manage. The staff are warm, kind, and clearly love what they do. I honestly wouldn't consider anywhere else for my 3 year old.

I can say with 100% confidence that Kindred Odstock Nursery is a fantastic childcare setting! I have had two children at this nursery, and both have been taken care of extremely well by the wonderful team there. They truly care about the children's welfare, and offer them loads of fantastic opportunities such as rugby & music lessons throughout the week - and I'm always so impressed by the activities the (very motivated and inspiring) team have ready for the children every day! The management team are fantastic and really approachable and flexible - as are all of the key workers. There is a real family vibe at the nursery, which I love! I really rate this nursery and would recommend them to anyone as an exceptional childcare setting in Salisbury!

Myself and my partner have nothing but good things to say about Kindred Odstock Nursery. My little boy has been attending for the last 2 years and has loved every minute. Always rushing to come in to greet the staff with a big smile on his face and excitement! The staff are always so engaging and enthusiastic towards the children as well as being so kind, warm and welcoming. The nursery itself is cosy, lived in and clean! We couldn't recommend Kindred Odstock enough for all there love, support and help towards our little boy on his journey towards school.

They have a nice diverse menu and my son is often trying food he probably would turn his nose up at home.

The staff are inviting and fantastic with the children, swift to communicate changes with parents and answer any of my questions quickly.

I very much recommend this nursery.

The staff at the nursery are amazing and have really helped build my daughter's confidence and skills.The management team are also always really helpful with any administrative queries. We are really happy we ended up choosing Kindred Odstock.

We were lucky enough to secure our daughter's spot at this nursery. From day dot they have been highly communicative, pragmatic, caring, and successful! Our kid is forming social bonds, she's sharing, she's learning, she's exploring. It's wonderful to see.

Our son has attended kindred odstock since October 2024. I love the connection with the app from the nursery to us as parents to see what our son has been up to that day/week and the fact you can see what he has eaten during that day/week also.

The staff are truly amazing and so welcoming. From the minute we walked around the nursery and seeing what the nursery has to offer our son we knew as parents it was the one.

The confidence, care and constant support to help our son grow is amazing. We know that our son is safe and secure and the nursery have the children's best interest at all times.

Something I notice whenever I go and pick up my son is that the staff are, without fail, on the floor with the children, playing and interacting with them. I've never once seen a member of staff 'hanging around'. I don't know where they all get the energy from, but they're so animated with the children from the start of the day until the very end.

When my son first joined Kindred Odstock, I really appreciated how they accommodated my wish to settle him in gradually. Rather than having a rigid number of settle sessions, they went at my child's pace (and my pace, as a nervous first time mum). One time my child was really upset at drop off, which in turn made me upset. They showed such kindness and understanding, taking the time to sit with the both of us until we felt better. I could have felt embarrassed but they showed such kindness and understanding. I really appreciated that.

The difference in the confidence, sharing and gentleness towards others he is showing is incredible, he has learnt so much in a short period of time and for this we are truly grateful to the staff for the work they do to help him learn and grow!

My son has recently joined kindred from another nursery and the difference in him is unbelievable in such a short time. It's such a supportive nursery that really takes the time to understand each child. When we have asked for extra support for him they have actioned this immediately and nothing has been too much. The staff absolutely make this nursery and everyone I have met have been amazing and lovely you can tell the kids really enjoy themselves there. I would recommend kindred odstock to everyone

Are daughter has been attending nursery 2 days a week in the baby room since September 2024. She loves arriving to see the girls (staff) and is always eager to take off her coat and see what activities the day has in store. Out daughter loves playing inside and out and it's lovely to see her doing both with nursery, exploring outside in her all in one overalls in the snow and ice as well as in the sunshine exploring the garden. She always seems to have a fulfilling variety of food which always sounds lovely, they have always stuck by our dietary requirements and willingly change them when we instruct them to do so. Are daughter never wants to leave at the end of the day always wanting to continue playing with her friends and to staff.

My little boy transferred to Kindred Odstock from another setting, which had traumatised him. From the outset, the staff here were understanding, caring and accommodating, going above and beyond to transition him gently into their care. He is now 6 months into life at nursery and he absolutely loves it here.

Our son has been attending kindred odstock since early 2024. From the first settling session we were put at ease after feeling that it was a home from home setting. Which our son would benefit from. The staff are amazing and so caring to the children. Our son's personality has flourished in the past year and his speech is coming on amazingly. All thanks to kindred odstock. I couldn't fault it at all.

Lovely nursery with such a wonderful group of members of staff. They are super sweet and amazing with the children. My toddler absolutely loves the nursery and the activities etc, at times she doesn't want to go home. Staff are great esp. with my toddler's needs and allergies.

Our son has attended Kindred from the baby room and he is now due to move from Toddlers up to Preschool. We have felt very comfortable from the beginning with the care he receives, he is so well cared for and he absolutely thrives. They are always so interested in his likes/dislikes and current interests and he learns something new every day. I cannot fault the nursery at all, I'm so pleased we picked this one.
