Kids Planet North Wingfield

My little one absolutely loves nursery and all the staff seem to adore him. He always eats well and comes home so happy and full of stories to tell me. In a morning when he is clingy the staff are so good at settling him so we can part without upset. He has developed so much by being at Kids Planet I am really happy

My son has attended Kids planet since I returned to work after my maternity leave, he started in baby room, is currently in the toddler room and will be moving up to the pre school room soon. All the staff have always been wonderful with him, all the staff know all the childrens names too. I love to get the updates on the app about his day and to see pictures of him learning and enjoying himself. He has come on so much being at kids planet and has lots of friends who hopefully will follow each other up to infants/primary school etc. I honestly couldn't fault Kids Planet North Wingfield and would highly recommend them to anyone looking at applying for a place for their child/children.

My son attended Kids Planet starting in the baby room. He has absolutely thrived here. Every room is well resourced with everything they need to have fun and be safe. I always felt happy leaving my child with all of the staff as everyone is so friendly, honest and approachable. I have always been given thorough handovers and the classrooms look incredible! We receive regular photos throughout the day on the app to keep us updated. I can't thank the girls enough for everything they have done to help my child.

Our little girl started in September 2025 and initially, she found the transition from home to nursery tricky. The ladies in the baby room worked SO HARD to get to know her and get a relationship with her, and they did this pretty much immediately. She went from crying at drop offs and not drinking any milk or sleeping, to leaping into their arms and being very happy throughout the morning - now drinking milk and having great naps. They are very accommodating, they give great feedback on drop offs and pick ups and we absolutely love their posts on the family app. It's very clear that they all tried hard to get to know her and make sure she's happy and settled, and she really really is. Overall, we're so happy with the nursery, the staff, the environment and how hard the staff have worked in the baby room. It's so appreciated - thank you!

Knowing my daughter is in a nursery where the staff genuinely care about her wellbeing and development is amazing. We are kept up to date with the activities and development assessments on a regular basis and are supported with any milestones e.g. potty training.

Outside work is great, oldest loves sitting round the fire and taking part in outdoor activities with her friends. Overall im very glad my girls are here.

If I could give more stars I would! I highly recommend KP North Wingfield! When my first son started here he struggled with his speaking as he was a Covid child, I explained this to the staff and they helped him so much with his speaking. He absolutely loved coming here, he would run through tbe doors to the staff. Sadly he left to start school and he was really upset leaving as he had made great bonds with staff. Now my 2nd son attends and he started when he was 9 months old due to the new funded hours. We took him for an open day and from then he loved it! The staff are still absolutely incredible! The rooms are welcoming and exciting! With lots of different stations, from imaginary play to construction. The meals are also great! Lots of different meals, which my sons eats all of them! My son used to get a little upset when leaving him but within 5 minutes of me leaving he was smiling and playing. Even now when I go back with my eldest son they always make time to speak to him!

Could not be happier with this nursery. The staff are so nice and my son absolutely loves it here. I feel so at ease when they keep us updated throughout the day! Thank you for all the hard work you do!

Our little girl has been in the baby room here since 9 months old. We go to work knowing she is receiving the best care and attention. She loves the baby room and all of the staff there, we will be sad when she has to move rooms but know she will continue to thrive.

Our daughter has a milk allergy and the staff are so careful when catering for her. She has such wonderful healthy meals.

We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with a little one needing to find childcare on the return to work.

Outdoor play and trips out have always been a winner with my daughter and I'm happy they do these activities regularly.

I sent my eldest son to this nursery 4 years, he had nothing but the best experience. I was so pleased with the care and support from the girls that I have now sent my youngest son, he has been going for 10 months and he loves going. The girls in the baby room are incredible with him, they send constant updates and are amazing with him, he always has the best day and is very well cared for!

My little girl has been attending kids planet since she was 2 and she's loved every single day she's been. All the girls are amazing that work there and so caring. Willows come on so much with her speech and learning since she's been there. Sophie runs the nursery so well and the girls couldn't do enough for you or your child. The food options are always great giving them chance to try new meals, and they try and play outside as much as possible so the children always have plenty of fresh air. Willow is always coming home telling me stories about what they've been making, reading or playing through out the day, so they are getting to learn so much. Highly recommend

My son has been attending kids planet now for just over a year. He absolutely loves it and settled in really well. All the staff are so friendly and very attentive. There always doing lovely things from making pizza / having bonfires / trips to the park Reggie always comes home happy and enjoys his time at nursery. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful nursery. The staff are very attentive, patient and helpful. My son has a speech delay, his keyworker and all the staff in his room have been amazing at following the strategies suggested by our therapist and really taking an interest in his progress. They have even learnt a few words of cantonese to help with his recognition of significant family members! Nothing is too much trouble and they celebrate his successes as much as we do!

I have had two children attend kids planet north wingfield, and soon my third child will be starting in January, the kids plant staff are very attentive and so easy to get a long with, my children have absolutely loved the time they have spent at nursery, the support they have given my child who is currently still in nursery has been amazing and have been so helpful supporting me on things I can do at home to help my child as well. I have never had any issues and when it comes to home time my children never wants to leave. Would absolutely recommend this nursery to any parent. The activities and supplies/toys the nursery have for the children is amazing and really helps to bring out the children's character and they have so many different things to choose from to play with.

I visited four local nurseries before this one and as soon as I went in, I knew this was the one. I'd encourage anyone to send their child there with full peace of mind that they'll be safe, cared for, and helped to grow into the best version of themselves xxx

Both my children have attended this Nursery since January 2025 at ages 2 and 1. It has been amazing to see how much they have developed in the time! My 2 year old was pretty much non-verbal when he started and now can put together full sentences thanks to the help of the nursery staff!

The nursery is very clean and calming. Always have relaxing music playing in the background. They are very good with allergies and can accommodate to the children's allergy needs with different coloured mats at meal times and on the boards in the classrooms with what children have allergies in that day.

They make care plans with the parents to ensure all the children's needs to met and to help with the children developmentally.

There is clear communication from the nursery through the app, which is updated with pictures of what the children have been up to that day, mealtimes and what they've and also includes special days for the month ahead had, if they've had a nap or been toileted/changed.

My son has been attending since he was 9 months and is now 2 years 3 months. Since starting he has developed massively and this is all down to the hard work that all the staff put in. He loves each and everyday that he attends. He has made a lovely group of friends and really likes all the staff that look after him, he has recently joined the toddler room and has fitted in really well. He loves all the activities they offer him and loves everything about the nursery Thankyou :-)

My son absolutely loves going to nursery & his development has come on leaps and bounds since joining. His speech is incredible for his age and he is learning so much. He's recently moved into the pre-school room and is having so much fun learning & developing his skills further. All the staff at Kids Planet North Wingfield are caring, nurturing & loving towards all the children. We are very grateful for them & when my daughter is born she will also be attending

Our son has come on so much since being in the toddler room and his confidence has grown lots! The staff are fantastic and care so much. He really enjoys going and has always talks about the staff at home.
