We have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery. Our eldest thrived there and now our youngest is also doing really well. At his previous nursery he would cry at every drop off, but at Micklefield nursery he happily goes in. The garden is brilliant, they have so many inventive activities and they really take the time to get to know each child and what makes them tick. Would absolutely recommend. The staff are all wonderful, kind, caring and very skilled, they are all focusing on careers in early years and teaching as opposed to some nurseries where you find the staff don't want to be in the sector long term and therefore aren't as invested. We will be so sad when our son leaves to go to school!

Belton House has provided an exceptional experience for our family. From registration onwards, the administrative team has been efficient and attentive, while the nursery itself is warm, caring, and welcoming.

What truly sets the nursery apart is its staff, who go above and beyond to get to know both the children and their parents, showing genuine care and thoughtfulness throughout.

Since joining Belton House, our daughter's confidence, learning, and development have flourished, and it has been wonderful to see her enthusiasm continue at home through the stories, games and creativity she shares with us. Parental involvement is encouraged naturally, allowing us to build lovely relationships with staff and gain a real insight into our daughter's daily life.

There is a real family feel within the nursery, reflected in the engaging activities, nurturing environment, and strong sense of community.

Choosing a nursery is a huge decision, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Belton House

Such a loving caring wonderful nursery. Our son loves going in every day. We feel extremely lucky to be part of Micklefield Belton House Nursery. The extracurricular activities during the school day are hugely beneficial to our son, such as playball and Spanish.

We have been so impressed with Micklefield Belton House Nursery. This was my son's first experience in a nursery setting and he has had the most wonderful start to his schooling here. He loves his days at nursery and walks in happily each morning without a fuss. Every member of staff shows genuine care and compassion for the children and this is evident from the relationships formed between the teachers and children. My son speaks fondly about his learning experiences, including his weekly French, Playball and music as well as baking. I enjoy the receiving the updates from the staff regarding his meals, toileting and his learning experiences and proud moments. If I ever have any questions or concerns the staff are prompt to respond via the app. I am confident that the education he is receiving will prepare him for the transition into his Reception year. I would highly recommend Belton House Nursery to others.

Our son attends Belton House Nursery, and we couldn't be happier. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm, nurturing environment for the children.
A standout feature is the access to Micklefield School's excellent PE and music facilities, which provide fantastic opportunities for physical and creative development. The weekly cooking class is another highlight, a fun, hands-on activity that our son absolutely loves.
The nursery app keeps us well-informed about his day-to-day activities, which is so reassuring. The parent group is also a wonderful source of support, helping families feel part of a close-knit community.
Belton House organises many well-thought-out trips and activities, providing enriching experiences beyond the classroom.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Belton House Nursery, it's a truly special place that fosters a love of learning, play, and friendship.

We couldn't be happier with Belton House Nursery. The staff are wonderful, kind, and warm, creating such a welcoming environment. They've been particularly supportive and attentive to my daughter, who was recently diagnosed with a chronic health condition. Their care and understanding have been exceptional, and it's clear they truly go above and beyond for every child. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic!
My daughter started here in September this year (2023). She is quite a clingy child and finds it hard to part from me. I have been so thrilled with the way she settled so quickly. It’s been amazing. She walks in happily in the mornings and I am always so excited to hear about what she has been doing through the app they use.
I am given plentiful information about what she’s eaten each day, toileting and how her day is going and can directly send messages to the staff members throughout the day - the communication is fantastic.
The provision she is exposed to is really wonderful with a brilliant indoor outdoor free flow experience. The environment is so homely and I wish I’d send my eldest child here!

Thank you Belton House, we are so happy and look forward to continuing our journey with you before joining the school’s Reception class in a few year's time!

Both of us, as parents, and our son think that Belton House is a wonderful preschool. My son has been going to the preschool since January 2022. During the early days we were a little unsure if it was the right setting for him, but some teacher changes have been made since he begun and it’s made a real impact. I feel like they really understand who he is, his interests, and what drives him now. This is hugely important to us. It’s a well-structured and more formal preschool setting than most, but this has only benefitted our son in learning structure and encouraging behaviours before his move to school.

We are delighted to have found this nursery for our daughter. It’s a pleasure to see her skip out of the house every morning, excited to go. The staff are fantastic and helped her to settle in in no time. The nursery also offers so many learning opportunities above and beyond what is expected, including playball, music, French and Spanish lessons, and benefits from the facilities of the local school. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Belton House to other parents, we couldn’t be happier.

We couldn’t be happier with Belton House Nursery for our daughter. It is an all-year-round nursery with opening hours of 7.30am-6pm, and is supportive of working parents.
Attached to Micklefield School, my daughter has access to all the main school facilities and there are so many opportunities for learning and development.

The space for the nursery is beautiful (inside and outside), the staff are fantastic - super supportive and fun, the food is excellent and my daughter just seems to be having the best time every day. Her development and confidence is coming on leaps and bounds. I would thoroughly recommend to any prospective family.

The staff are lovely and importantly for us, they are familiar faces who build relationships with the children. Our daughter is getting lots of opportunities to have fun and learn. Above all, she is happy and we are happy. Sincere thank you to the whole team.

A nursery where they bring out the best in your kids! Our second child has just started at the nursery, and within weeks transformed into a more confident and happy little person, just as our first child did when joining. The nursery have very caring staff, a wide variety of activities for the kids, and a good balance between quiet, formal, and free time. Also, a great transition to starting at the school as they get to use the facilities so it is just second nature when they join the ‘big school’ and the also do this with their friends.

We are so pleased with Belton House. Our child has been attending since September 2021 and is learning so much and is so happy there. The staff are excellent - professional, proactive, caring and warm with the children. Our child has developed so much since starting, he is getting so much positive stimulation and engagement at nursery both academically and socially. We are also impressed with the facilities - a nice big outdoor space, big, bright and tidy rooms with lots of activities available and geared towards learning. We would recommend Belton House without reservation.

My daughter has thrived at Belton House Nursery. The environment is welcoming and perfect for curious minds with so many interesting play areas and learning opportunities. The range of activities she gets involved in, including music, cookery, and French and Spanish lessons means no two days are the same and she is always learning something new. And the team at Belton House provide regular updates and photos several times a day via the app so we always know what she is doing. The food they serve is nutritional and varied so she gets to try new things and eats very healthily. The Head and Deputy Head, and the rest of the team are friendly and caring and my daughter loves them. The gentle focus on literacy and numeracy means my daughter is in a great place for starting school. We are so pleased we made the move to Belton House.

Our daughter has been attending Belton House for nearly 4 months now and she has never been happier or felt more secure at a nursery setting. The team of staff are amazing - all extremely well qualified, friendly and reassuring. As a team, I would say they are outstanding. Our daughter comes back from nursery each day with a big smile on her face, chatting about the various activities she has been partaking in with her group of friends. I would highly recommend this nursery and will be putting our youngest daughter on the waiting list.

We have noticed his development has come on in leaps and bounds and can’t praise the staff highly enough for what a warm and welcome atmosphere it is. We will definitely be sending our youngest son here when he is old enough, and our eldest will be going on to Micklefield next year.

We moved to Belton House from another nursery six months ago. Our experience has far surpassed our expectations. We knew that Belton House had great facilities and a well-designed curriculum but it is so much more than that. The culture and ethos of the nursery is nurturing and supportive - from teaching staff and others in the class. The teachers and nursery practitioners are clearly passionate, experienced, and great at what they do. We love that our daughter is stretched and encouraged, that she has varied and interesting days with the right balance of free play and structured lessons. Our daughter is so happy at Belton House and so are we.
