Shooting Stars Nurseries at Hinckley

We have been so pleased with our son's time at Shooting Stars Hinckley. He first joined when he was around 15 months old and has just left to go to school. Mel and her team are fantastic and the nursery always feels like a lovely environment to walk into in the mornings. There were a few times when my son needed some extra 'TLC' after holidays / illness etc. and the staff would always be extra caring, patient and supportive with him. Special mention to Jo H who he has built such a lovely relationship with during his time in the preschool room. The team were always good at offering up a helpful idea or solution if he was ever struggling - like his very own decorated box to bring something in each day, which really helped him turn a corner. The nursery is always clean, tidy and I must mention the food as this always gets rave reviews from both of my children too!

Our daughter joined at just 11 months old and has spent nearly 4 happy years here, now leaving to start Reception. It truly became her second home-she's grown, learned, and blossomed in the warmest, most caring environment. We've loved seeing her thrive with the amazing forest school sessions, getting outdoors and exploring nature; she absolutely loved Diddy rugby, building confidence and having so much fun; and we've always been so impressed by the delicious, nutritious meals provided-she was always so well fed and looked after. Every single member of staff has loved, nurtured and guided her, making us feel completely at ease every single day. Thank you for giving her the best possible start in life!

Since our son started in the baby room in August 2022 our family have been so grateful for the care and attention shown towards him as he has gone through his nursery journey. Each room has fully embraced his interests and included them in day to day activities. His love for reading has been a strong focus and really helped on days where drop offs were a little challenging and he could bring a book from home to read with his friends. The daily updates and handovers have provided a nice insight to what he has been up to and many happy memories made with woodykins and didi rugby that he has enjoyed telling us about. The nursery camera is a great touch aswell for insights to the day and reassurance. We will certainly miss the shooting stars family as they have been a constant support over the last 3 years!

We have had the most amazing experience with Shooting Stars settling in our first son to nursery - from their carefully planned settling in sessions, warm empathy towards me when I've been wobbly!, to the brilliant facilities and activities across the baby room and garden, the new foods he's tried every day and most importantly the beyond fantastic key workers who care for him like he's their own. He comes out smiling at the end of every day and has developed so much already after just a couple of months. Thank you so much Shooting Stars team for helping our transition with such professionalism, experience and care throughout.

My daughter has been attending Shooting Stars since 11 months old and has been thriving here. All of the staff are lovely and we get such a detailed handover every day as well as updates in the app. It's so comforting to see how happy she is every day at nursery and to hear about the activities she's been doing and the friends that she makes. We also have the reassurance of the cameras that we can log into throughout the day, which was a big deciding factor for us when choosing a nursery. You can tell that all of the staff truly care about the children and enjoy working here.

Our twin daughters have attended Shooting Stars Nursery since they were 18 months old and are now leaving for school in August. They have both progressed so much during their time there, from learning to walk to becoming confident little girls. Most importantly, they've always loved going to nursery.

One of our daughters has SEN needs, and the support from the staff has been amazing. SENCO has been especially fantastic, helping us through the EHCP process quickly and smoothly. Without her guidance and support, we would have felt completely lost.

The staff go above and beyond for the children and families, and we'll always be thankful for everything they've done for our daughters. We highly recommend Shooting Stars to any parent looking for a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment for their children

We absolutely love this nurser our daughter is so happy there, and it's clear she is very well cared for. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely attentive. She is learning so much and developing strong early learning skills, which has been wonderful to see. The whole environment feels warm, welcoming, and nurturing. Her progress since starting has been truly remarkable, and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

The nursery's strong Ofsted rating is well deserved and clearly reflected in everything they do. We'd highly recommend it to any parent.

The girls at the Nursery in Hinckley Baby Room since my little girl joined have been nothing but personable, caring and considerate for her needs. It makes me feel at ease when I drop her off and they're there to greet her. At pick up they seem excited to tell me about my little girls day, showing they genuinely care and remember the little details about her day. They've made our experience so much more enjoyable and they deserve the recognition!

Picking a nursery is a difficult decision but this one gets five Shooting Stars! The staff genuinely care about the children. It was the best decision we made!

Our first experiences of the nursery since our child started in Sep 24 have all been excellent. We have been impressed by the friendliness of all the staff and our baby's development has been amazing so far. He loves going to nursery and spending time there. We are also impressed by the transparency of the daily updates provided on the app and the ability to check on our child via nursery cam. Overall, we are very pleased and hoping for the excellent service to continue.

Shooting Stars at Hinckley are exceptional. Their manner, dedication, support and facilities embody everything you could ever wish for in a childcare provider - and more. They are the fourth nursery I've experienced and by far the highest standard. My child cannot wait to attend, having formed strong bonds with all the staff and being given opportunities to develop in a fun and engaging way. Whether it's messy play, song time, outdoor exploration or meal times, he loves every minute. The staff relationships with parents is also outstanding, always greeting with a smile, personalising interactions and showing that nothing is ever too much trouble. I 100% recommend Shooting Stars.

We had our first stay-and-play where we were able to stay and talk to all the practitioners which also put our minds at ease. I told them all about my worries and concerns to which they listened and reassured me. With my daughter, I was concerned about how the other children and about the environment she would be in. I explained my concerns and on my second visit, it was clear that all my concerns had been listened to and they had put fantastic plans into place. The equipment and activities they have for both of my children are fantastic. Would recommend it to everyone.
