Lovely staff, my child loves attending, they do a lot of fun activities. My child especially enjoys the crafts, playing outside and the variety of food he eats there. The staff were also great with assisting with potty training. He has also learned his colours and is learning his numbers at the facility.

Little inspirations tonyrefail are a fantastic nursery, my son has attended for 2 years now and from day one the staff have been incredibly caring, supportive and attentive. The level of learning, communication and genuine care they provide is second to none. It's been wonderful to see how confident
and happy my little one is here!

My child has been attending Little inspirations Tonyrefail for nearly 10 months now and it's the best thing I did. All staff are very accommodating, friendly and approachable. My child has food allergies and they have been very inclusive with different foods and play. My child enjoys going in every
morning, knowing the daily routine which I find is key for a child. My child enjoys seeing the staff members welcome all the children in the mornings. My child knows where all the different toy sections are and I must say there is a huge variety of toys from construction, messy play, role play in the kitchen and with the dolls/prams, so many books which my child loves. I couldn't recommend this nursery more. They are fantastic.
The only slight criticism I have is that the garden area could use a little TLC. I completely understand it's winter time and children don't tend to play much outside with the rain at this point too. Overall, I think the setting is fantastic.

Since my child started in September she has loved every minute of it, the staff are so caring and kind towards her making her feel very welcome and special, she never has any complaints about being there and looks forward to going in each day, she has also made lots of new friendships which is lovely
to see. Little inspirations provide fantastic structure to their day and everything is always clean and tidy and the hygiene appears to be very well maintained as my child always wants to wash her hands at home.
The only criticism I have is that I had to ask the nursery to put a coat on my child when she goes outside particularly in winter months

Over the last year, we've seen such a huge growth in her confidence, communication, and independence. She comes home chatting about her friends, the fun activities she's done, and the wonderful staff who clearly care so much about the children. It's been so special watching her develop not just academically,
but socially and emotionally too.
The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. They keep us updated regularly, celebrate her achievements, and have always been supportive and approachable whenever we've had questions.
Thank you for creating such a nurturing, stimulating environment where our little girl has truly thrived. We're so grateful for the love, patience, and dedication you show every single day.

We now use the nursery for school holidays and have used for flying start. This is an excellent nursery, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and tidy, good communication. Plenty of educational areas through play for the children, very good outdoor space. Love the updates of my child on the

This goes from the time my child started in the setting. Right from the show around I feel so at ease and happy with everything my little one settled in straightaway and has grown in learning and confidence ever since. I love the family app as it shows pictures from f what my child has done and what
snack he eats I also love the fact my child just runs into the setting and always goes in and comes out smiling I can't praise little inspiration enough and all the staff especially my child's key worker he loves her

The care and support for the children and families at Tonyrefail is EXCEPTIONAL!

The amount of thought and care that is put into the childrens' days is beyond any expectation - our daughter always comes home excited to tell us about what she has done and how much she loved her day.

It's not easy

to work full time and have someone else care for your child, but the team at Tonyrefail have genuinely made this so much better for us as a family. It is almost an extension of our family; kindness, compassion, understanding and a genuine care for our daughter and all other children in the setting.

I have no words to express my genuine gratitude to Sophie, Rhian, Leah, Sarah, Lakshi, Kealey, Shannon and the whole team at the setting. Our daughter adores each and every member of staff, as do we.

We would not be able to have our careers or home life without the support of such an incredible setting.

I love how happy my granddaughter is at Little Inspirations, I have seen her do so much fun but educational things with the team. Who are amazing, they take such good care of the little ones that attend.
Gives such comfort to know your child is in safe hands and being well looked after.
I highly
recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place for their child.
They also have such a varied choice of foods all nutritious and healthy.

We've loved our time with Little Inspirations. The staff are so friendly and my little one fell in love with an assistant in her first room. She took a little time when progressing to the older room but is now really happy again. She's happy to go & always happy and smiling leaving too.
She enjoys
herself there & the food is nutritionally great with a good variety. Much better than other nurseries I've seen. I'm confident in their safeguarding approach & leaving her there each day. They always have great activities for the children to take part in too which I love and find really important. They're proactive in resourcing toys, furniture etc. to create a new environment for the children to play in which I also love.
There's not been much availability recently for extra days etc. but they've been great at accommodating for later in the year when there will be more availability again which has been great.
Really happy with the staff & the facilities and would definitely recommend.

My daughter goes two days a week, always positive feedback when my wife collects and good information on the app. Recent parents evening was very good and I believe the nursery is helping my daughter grow and develop. All staff are very friendly have seem some in the community and always make time to
speak. Both room leaders really make an effort on every interaction and you can see how much they enjoy working with my daughter. The return of the manager has also been massive for the setting in my opinion.

My little girl has been going here for about about a year now and really enjoys it. The nursery do a wide variety of tasks and learning for the children. The weekly projects are always really interesting and it's nice to receive updates and photos when they do these. The staff are all absolutely lovely
and a credit to the nursery. My only criticism is that the updates and photos are lacking and usually only one photo per week is received which is disappointing.
Reply from Neil Blockley, Commercial Director at Little Inspirations - TonyrefailThank you for your review and comments and how highly you rate the care your daughter receives. We do balance the amount of time staff spend taking photos and updates for parents on the tablet devices due to the amount of children we care for, we want to ensure that their time is mostly spent interacting, caring and undertaking activities directly with the childre, but we do appreciate that parents/carers value seeing their child in nursery also.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.787)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.787) out of 10 for Little Inspirations - Tonyrefail is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 20 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.812 for Little Inspirations - Tonyrefail is calculated as follows: ( (196 Excellents x 5) + (32 Goods x 4) + (6 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 234 Ratings = 4.812
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.975 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Inspirations - Tonyrefail is based on 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.975
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 50 number of registered child places is 10, which has been reached with 19 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
