Day Nurseries Owned by The Nursery Family

My daughter has attended since she was 1 years old, she is now 4 and will be going to school this year. I cannot recommend The Purbrook Day Nursery enough. I have never once felt uneasy since my daughter started there. They have even supported us tremendously through difficult circumstances we have faced at home also. Every single staff member is so wonderful and kind and I will be very sad to say goodbye to them when my daughter goes to school.

My son started at the nursery in February, and the whole process has been so smooth. He's settled really well and the staff are so kind and caring, he's thriving! We are so happy with our choice of nursery.

My daughter has attended since she was 10 months old and is now about to leave to start school. Our experience at Purbrook has been amazing since day 1. All the staff are genuinely so lovely and clearly love what they do. I've never had any concerns about the care given to my daughter. She has loved nursery and will miss it there a lot (so will I). She has grown and developed so well here and loves the variety of activities they get to do including all the time they spend in the outdoor areas. Support with school readiness has been great and they have a dedicated class room area for pre-schoolers. Overall, I would definitely recommend Purbrook nursery to anyone!

My experience of dropping off and collecting my Granddaughter from this playschool has always been. The staff always welcomes in my Granddaughter with her name and a smile. My Granddaughter has been attending this playschool since September 25. And she has continued to thrive. She always go in happily and come out the same. Which ever staff member brings her out to me, always tells me how she has been what she has done. Also let's me know what she has eaten. I would totally recommend this playschool. They really work with the children to bring them on in every level. If ever you need to speak to them about anything. They always deal with it in a professional manner. This shows that they have excellent staff right from the Management to the newest staff member. I feel that my Granddaughter is in safe hands when I drop her off at the playschool. You couldn't wish for a better start for your child/grandchild.

I love the child-led approach and how much time the children spend outdoors exploring and learning. My toddler has been attending since January and absolutely loves it. He is always happy to go in and comes home excited to tell us about his day.

Brilliant nursery, my little girl always goes in happy and comes away having a lovely fun filled day. All staff are great and always happy to tell you what your child has been up to that day. Food is always great and love that it is all home cooked on the premises.

Nursery is absolutely lovely all the staff are amazing, my daughter loves it there, she always has an Amazing time she is in, I would recommend it to anyone. It's a very local to ever we live aswell so not to far to go in the morning

It's easy to overlook just how good this nursery is, but their professional curiosity and commitment to going beyond simply meeting needs really sets them apart!

We looked at several nurseries in the area of West Sussex and this one was the only one that felt quite warm and homely as well as being able to get out into the garden areas. The staff are amazing and you can tell how passionate they are about the young ones. Our little one started at 9 months as I went back to work , and he took a small amount of time to settle , but I was reassured at every moment , kept in the loop with everything. I feel very comfortable with all the nursery staff including the nursery chef who is incredibly friendly. Really couldn't fault this nursery team.

My son 19 months old has attended the Lower Beeding nursery for 9 months now and is thriving, he's always so happy when he arrives in the mornings! His speech has really developed and he's grown strong bonds with the staff members in the baby snug room which is lovely to see.

He has gone from not settling very well to absolutely loving it in a very short space of time so thank you to all.

My daughter has been going to Southwater Nursery (toddler room) since September 2025 and she absolutely loves it. It took a little time for her to settle in but the staff have been so patient and caring and I am so pleased she enjoys it so much. The staff in the toddler room are always so friendly & give us updates when we pick her up. I would highly recommend Southwater Day Nursery 5 star.

I sent my son to Shoreham Day Nursery since he was 9 months old and he's now just over 2. When sending him at first, we were very supported and had some useful settle in sessions. The staff got to know my son really well and he was so happy there.

Now in the toddler room and he is still thriving. Naturally with a group of toddlers there are sometimes learning experiences and behaviours that arise. The staff have worked collaboratively with us to ensure my son is happy and comfortable.

My daughter has attended Shoreham Day Nursery since January and is absolutely loving it ! Staff are lovely and her speech has come along so well since joining! Can't wait to see her thrive even more !

My son has been at Southwater Preschool for just over two years and I can confidently say there has been a huge improvement in his development. A large part of this is due to his outstanding key worker who took the time and patience to understand our son and his needs. The management and whole team are very proactive in relation to SEND awareness and have been absolutely fantastic and supportive in the whole process of our son being diagnosed with autism. Our son loves going to preschool and the brilliant and attentive staff have made it a safe place for him. Our son is able to thrive in the environment set for him we have absolute trust in every single member of staff that works with him.

From the moment we got introduced to the baby room team we knew that our daughter would be in nurturing hands. Lower Beeding Nursery had been wonderful. At the end of each day we get a thorough feedback on how her day was, whether she ate, napped etc. My daughter is now in the toddler room and the care continues. They have supported us with our daughter's potty training which has been a huge success. We couldn't recommend the nursery enough, lovely team and great facilities for the children.

We're so happy with our little boy's nursery! The staff are really friendly and caring, and it's such a warm, welcoming place.

Our son absolutely loves going in every day, which says it all. It's been lovely to see how much he's grown in confidence and how much he enjoys all the fun activities they do.

We also had our daughter there at the same time, before she started reception, and it was so nice having them both together. She had a great experience too, which made choosing this nursery again an easy decision for us.

It gives us real peace of mind knowing they're in such good hands. We'd definitely recommend it to any parents looking for a great nursery

My Son started at this nursery just after his first birthday, he settled in really quickly, the staff are amazing and it really is home away from home for him. The breakfasts, lunch and dinners are brilliant and varied. They get up to lots of different activities, including playing outside in the garden. Couldn't recommend this nursery and the staff enough.

My daughter has been going here since September and loves it. I really feel that the staff see her as an individual and really care about all the children.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is great. I love that she gets outside regularly and gets a chance to interact with some of the older children every now and then.

I absolutely love this nursery. Everyone is so friendly and caring. My daughter adores everyone who cares for her, which for me, says it all! My son also attended this nursery and runs back in to say hello regularly! Highly recommend!
