Our two daughters, have attended Shooting Stars Nursery in Barbourne from the age of one, and we could not be more grateful for the care, kindness and support they have received. Our eldest is now four and preparing to leave for primary school in September. Shooting Stars has played such an important part in helping her grow into a confident, happy and caring little girl. Her reading, social skills, problem-solving and emotional understanding have all developed so much. As a family, we have been through house moves, bereavement, the birth of a new baby and lots of change. Throughout it all, the team have been incredibly supportive, consistent and understanding. The nursery has truly felt like a family away from family.
Our youngest has now moved into her next group, and we feel so reassured knowing she continues to be cared for in such a warm and nurturing environment. We feel very lucky to have found Shooting Stars and cannot recommend them highly enough.

My daughter has been attending Shooting Stars since 11 months old and has been thriving here. All of the staff are lovely and we get such a detailed handover every day as well as updates in the app. It's so comforting to see how happy she is every day at nursery and to hear about the activities she's been doing and the friends that she makes. We also have the reassurance of the cameras that we can log into throughout the day, which was a big deciding factor for us when choosing a nursery. You can tell that all of the staff truly care about the children and enjoy working here.

My son has attended Shooting Stars since April this year, and due to separation anxiety, I was a little worried about how he would settle in. As expected, both he and I found the transition quite tough. Although he still finds going in difficult at times, I feel completely at ease knowing he is with such kind, caring, and thoughtful staff. They comfort and support him when he's upset and have quickly learned what helps to reassure and cheer him up.
They continually encourage and challenge him, and it has been lovely to watch him come out of his shell. He would typically be very shy, but since attending Shooting Stars, we've seen his confidence grow so much.

My son started the nursery when he was 9 months old in the baby room, he is now starting his transition to the pre-toddlers room. From day one, the staff have been amazing with him, they know him inside out. They show a real care for him and you can just tell they adore him like one of their own - Not just the staff in baby room but managers, the chef, the staff who don't even work directly with him!! The handovers from the baby room staff are always detailed and honest. He loves coming to nursery every day!
Any minor issues raised have always been dealt with immediately.

Our twin daughters have attended Shooting Stars Nursery since they were 18 months old and are now leaving for school in August. They have both progressed so much during their time there, from learning to walk to becoming confident little girls. Most importantly, they've always loved going to nursery.
One of our daughters has SEN needs, and the support from the staff has been amazing. SENCO has been especially fantastic, helping us through the EHCP process quickly and smoothly. Without her guidance and support, we would have felt completely lost.
The staff go above and beyond for the children and families, and we'll always be thankful for everything they've done for our daughters. We highly recommend Shooting Stars to any parent looking for a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment for their children

I went to visit the nursery for my little one. The staff is amazing and friendly. Very good vibes and the atmosphere so familiar and relax.I received any information possible, during my visit. The place is very big and the garden too. They do a lot activities indoor and outdoor. Very happy to found this place.

If you are looking for a daycare that truly cares about child development, this is it. The facility has an excellent setup-clean, engaging, and well-organized. My son is 3 and has been flourishing here. It's been wonderful to watch him hit new milestones and grow more confident every day. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he's in such a supportive environment.

My daughter started in Sept 2025 in toddler room she was already communicating & doing really well but from that first day since starting the change in my daughter has been amazing from holding full sentences, social skills, more manners & more greatness has came from her.
All staff in toddler have been amazing with her the three days she is in nursery she always comes out with a happy face, happy mood & amazing feedback.
Amy, Melody & Jo thank you for working with her as now she taking the next step and going into preschool already before she 3.

My two children both attend Shooting Stars Kings Norton and they continue to develop and grow everyday. All staff genuinely have the greatest care and consideration for our children.
Our oldest is 2 and is in preschool and is well on her way to reading and beginning to attempt writing. Her language and confidence is brilliant and this is encouraged fully by the staff.
Our youngest is 1 and in the baby room. Their hand overs are thorough and honestly our baby is thriving and loving every moment!
Selina, Cara, Annie, Chloe, Nadia, Jo, Amy, Haleeka, Riffat are major shout outs for us. And Chef Violetta who works so hard to provide tasty, nutritious food that out kids love!

My baby has just started using Shooting Stars and I am so pleased we decided to send him here. Every single member of staff I've spoke to is kind friendly and knowledgeable. They're all so attentive and supportive. As a first time mum using a nursery for the first time, I didn't know everything needed and all the team helped me and my baby settle in well. My daughter is settling at Tettenall after moving from another nursery. The enrolment process is thorough and detailed. It is good that they want to get to know my daughter as much as possible before she first attended for her settle. Communication between myself and the manager and deputy was also highly effective with emails being responded to promptly. On her first settle all staff were welcoming and friendly toward both me and my daughter, this gave her the confidence to explore her surroundings which were extremely well resourced.There was a key focus on healthy eating that was obvious in the activities on offer (it was explained to me that this was a focus topic).
On her second settle my daughter literally dragged me up to the front door, I've never seen her so enthusiastic about going to nursery and it put me at ease completely! If this introduction to Shooting Stars is anything to go by I am so pleased to have chosen this nursery for my daughter. I know she will flourish here.

My child has been attending the nursery since July 2025 and has settled brilliantly into nursery. He has moved to the next room and is thriving in his development and built strong bonds with staff and peers in his room having also made a best friend!

My son has been finding it hard to settle, the staff at nursery have been amazing at helping him settle, he is now doing longer days and is starting to enjoy his day at nursery. The staff make you feel at ease and are very informative on how your child has been for the day. I love seeing how his week has been through pictures that are sent on the app staff to use to share information.
The nursery is big with a lovely outdoor space.

My daughter has been in baby room since September last year and all staff have been so caring towards my daughter making her happy and settled at nursery and attending to her needs it's lovely to see the bond they have all made with her. I am so happy and grateful for all the staff making her feel so welcome and I can see that she really enjoys coming to nursery :)

Moving my son to a new nursery in January was a decision we did not take lightly. Especially as he had been at his previous setting since he was only a few months old. However, it has turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made this year. The staff have been incredibly warm, welcoming, and supportive. But most importantly, my son absolutely loves it here. He loves it to the point he will randomly mention how much he likes nursery. Knowing he is happy and settled is the reassurance any parent needs when trusting others to take care of their child. I also really value the app, which allows me to check in on him during the day. The updates and observations are both reassuring and informative. I love being able to speak to him about his day and show him photos from his observations. Even the food gets a big thumbs up from him!
I can't recommend this nursery enough.

The team at Shooting Stars have been phenomenal. We were very nervous to drop our daughter off because she would be starting earlier than most however from the moment we had the settling in sessions we knew she would be in very capable hands. Shooting Stars have been so nurturing, caring and fundamental in our son's development and happiness. He has been there since he was 9 months old and as he nears the end of his journey at the nursery, we have nothing but praise for the staff who have worked with him and encouraged him to become the best version of himself. Every single staff member has the best interest of the children at heart and the happy, loving environment is a wonderful place for our son to have (literally)taken his first steps towards his independence. My little boy has started here this year and we honestly could not be happier with our choice of Nursery! As first time parents, finding a nursery right for you is not the easiest process. We both have intense careers too so it was really important that we found the right place to be worry free whilst at work!
The staff have been nothing but wonderful ! My little boy has been in the baby room for a few months now and he is thriving! The staff are so friendly, caring and helpful offering advice when needed. We have a lovely amount of updates which provide us with reassurance throughout the day! I was worried about sending my little boy for four days a week but in actual fact, it was the best thing we've done as he just absolutely loves it! I can't recommend the nursery enough and I am so thankful that we chose shooting stars as our nursery.
