We have been so pleased with our son's time at Shooting Stars Hinckley. He first joined when he was around 15 months old and has just left to go to school. Mel and her team are fantastic and the nursery always feels like a lovely environment to walk into in the mornings. There were a few times when my son needed some extra 'TLC' after holidays / illness etc. and the staff would always be extra caring, patient and supportive with him. Special mention to Jo H who he has built such a lovely relationship with during his time in the preschool room. The team were always good at offering up a helpful idea or solution if he was ever struggling - like his very own decorated box to bring something in each day, which really helped him turn a corner. The nursery is always clean, tidy and I must mention the food as this always gets rave reviews from both of my children too!

I genuinely couldn't recommend Shooting Stars enough

Our daughter joined at just 11 months old and has spent nearly 4 happy years here, now leaving to start Reception. It truly became her second home-she's grown, learned, and blossomed in the warmest, most caring environment. We've loved seeing her thrive with the amazing forest school sessions, getting outdoors and exploring nature; she absolutely loved Diddy rugby, building confidence and having so much fun; and we've always been so impressed by the delicious, nutritious meals provided-she was always so well fed and looked after. Every single member of staff has loved, nurtured and guided her, making us feel completely at ease every single day. Thank you for giving her the best possible start in life!

Our daughter has been with Shooting Stars for nearly 4 years (since 7 months old) and she has just started primary school yesterday. We cannot recommend Shooting Stars enough! They have been exceptional and consistently provided a high standard of care and a service where children are clearly at the heart of everything. We appreciate every single member of staff and management for their kindness, support and empathy. Shooting Stars have been our village for years and we are very thankful! I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone looking for their littles to develop in a caring and nurturing environment. Thank you!

My little boy has recently had his final day at Shooting Stars and whilst we are so proud of how far he has come at nursery and know he is ready for his next chapter of school we feel so emotional that he is leaving the most wonderful nursery with equally as amazing staff. The managers welcome the children knowing all their names showing how invested they are. The pre school teachers have honestly been the best and are a credit to the nursery! I couldn't recommend Shooting Stars enough. It is a huge responsibility to choose somewhere to send your children but I have never doubted the care, kindness and teaching that my little one has received during his time here. Thank you, Shooting Stars; you will be missed for sure!

Since our son started in the baby room in August 2022 our family have been so grateful for the care and attention shown towards him as he has gone through his nursery journey. Each room has fully embraced his interests and included them in day to day activities. His love for reading has been a strong focus and really helped on days where drop offs were a little challenging and he could bring a book from home to read with his friends. The daily updates and handovers have provided a nice insight to what he has been up to and many happy memories made with woodykins and didi rugby that he has enjoyed telling us about. The nursery camera is a great touch aswell for insights to the day and reassurance. We will certainly miss the shooting stars family as they have been a constant support over the last 3 years!

My daughter started in September 25 in the baby room. She took longer than most to settle but throughout this time the staff were very helpful to ease this transition. There was lots of communication and advice to help us get settled in and the baby room team were fantastic and clearly really care for all the children. A testament to them is how happy I could see she was at pick up and drop off before she then transitioned to the pre toddler room. It's a big decision choosing where to send your child where you can trust they will be taken care of and I'm so glad we chose shooting stars! My daughter absolutely loves nursery and will even ask about it on weekends. She walks in happy and doesn't even look back. When we go in all the staff know her name and say hello and the atmosphere feels so friendly. She has continued to thrive in the pretoddler room thanks to all the staff there too! She loves the food too which always sounds yummy!

We have had the most amazing experience with Shooting Stars settling in our first son to nursery - from their carefully planned settling in sessions, warm empathy towards me when I've been wobbly!, to the brilliant facilities and activities across the baby room and garden, the new foods he's tried every day and most importantly the beyond fantastic key workers who care for him like he's their own. He comes out smiling at the end of every day and has developed so much already after just a couple of months. Thank you so much Shooting Stars team for helping our transition with such professionalism, experience and care throughout.

I cannot speak highly enough of Shooting Stars Nursery. The staff are fantastic, caring and helpful. Our son has come on massively with his confidence and language since starting. Abbie and Amy in particular work so well with him and we are grateful to have such dedicated staff work with him.

My daughter has been attending Shooting Stars since 11 months old and has been thriving here. All of the staff are lovely and we get such a detailed handover every day as well as updates in the app. It's so comforting to see how happy she is every day at nursery and to hear about the activities she's been doing and the friends that she makes. We also have the reassurance of the cameras that we can log into throughout the day, which was a big deciding factor for us when choosing a nursery. You can tell that all of the staff truly care about the children and enjoy working here.

They continually encourage and challenge him, and it has been lovely to watch him come out of his shell. He would typically be very shy, but since attending Shooting Stars, we've seen his confidence grow so much.

Any minor issues raised have always been dealt with immediately.

Our twin daughters have attended Shooting Stars Nursery since they were 18 months old and are now leaving for school in August. They have both progressed so much during their time there, from learning to walk to becoming confident little girls. Most importantly, they've always loved going to nursery.

One of our daughters has SEN needs, and the support from the staff has been amazing. SENCO has been especially fantastic, helping us through the EHCP process quickly and smoothly. Without her guidance and support, we would have felt completely lost.

The staff go above and beyond for the children and families, and we'll always be thankful for everything they've done for our daughters. We highly recommend Shooting Stars to any parent looking for a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment for their children

I went to visit the nursery for my little one. The staff is amazing and friendly. Very good vibes and the atmosphere so familiar and relax.I received any information possible, during my visit. The place is very big and the garden too. They do a lot activities indoor and outdoor. Very happy to found this place.

If you are looking for a daycare that truly cares about child development, this is it. The facility has an excellent setup-clean, engaging, and well-organized. My son is 3 and has been flourishing here. It's been wonderful to watch him hit new milestones and grow more confident every day. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he's in such a supportive environment.

My daughter started in Sept 2025 in toddler room she was already communicating & doing really well but from that first day since starting the change in my daughter has been amazing from holding full sentences, social skills, more manners & more greatness has came from her.

All staff in toddler have been amazing with her the three days she is in nursery she always comes out with a happy face, happy mood & amazing feedback.

My two children both attend Shooting Stars Kings Norton and they continue to develop and grow everyday. All staff genuinely have the greatest care and consideration for our children.

Our oldest is 2 and is in preschool and is well on her way to reading and beginning to attempt writing. Her language and confidence is brilliant and this is encouraged fully by the staff.

Our youngest is 1 and in the baby room. Their hand overs are thorough and honestly our baby is thriving and loving every moment!

Selina, Cara, Annie, Chloe, Nadia, Jo, Amy, Haleeka, Riffat are major shout outs for us. And Chef Violetta who works so hard to provide tasty, nutritious food that out kids love!

My baby has just started using Shooting Stars and I am so pleased we decided to send him here. Every single member of staff I've spoke to is kind friendly and knowledgeable. They're all so attentive and supportive. As a first time mum using a nursery for the first time, I didn't know everything needed and all the team helped me and my baby settle in well. Would recommend!
