Nursery on the Green, rated Outstanding by Ofsted (October 2018), offers care for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old. With a friendly and dedicated team, each child and their family are provided a welcoming setting where their happiness and safety are the top priority.

To help children settle in, the team offer a 'key person' system, where each child has a dedicated member of staff who will welcome them to the setting and monitor their progress and development throughout their time at the nursery. They also seek to work closely with families so they can get to know each child's interests and requirements through the people who know them best.

To promote learning and development, the team ensure children have daily routines and opportunities for self-help learning and life-skill development as well as structured and non-structured activities to encourage independence as well as imagination.

I am on my second child at nursery on the green and we have nothing to but positive things to say. Both of our girls have been so happy here. I love the range of activities done and the great range of food. The crafts are fab! I always recommend this nursery to any new parents in the area!

This is an outstanding nursery in the way they look after the children and the parents. It is such a nurturing environment. Our daughters language and behaviour has developed so wonderfully and she has turned into such a gentle, caring and fun loving kid through attending the nursery. We can't wait

My son is flourishing at Nursery on the Green. He loves the range of activities, learning and having run with his friends. He adores the staff and this has really helped his progress. Nursery has helped so much with development such as toilet training and dropping a nap, learning numbers and letters.
He loves the learning hub and now has a lovely little group of friends. We would highly recommend this nursery.

As parents we love Nursery on the Green! All the staff truly care about the children, they will always ensure they are happy! They have helped so much with our little girl in many and I feel go above and beyond what they should do especially in guiding us with potty training as first time parents. They
take a real interest in what the children like to do and incorporate it into their learning.
They put on events for the children around special occasions which I think is a great way for them to learn about different cultures etc and it gets them really excited. With our second child arriving I could feel more confident for them to also start at this nursery.

Nursery on the Green is a fabulous nursery and we feel so lucky that our twins get to attend. The staff go above and beyond to update us on their progress and really care about our kids. The building is beautiful and open plan meaning the babies can watch and learn from the older kids. They've also

Our daughter has attended Nursery on the Green since she was in the baby room and is now a pre-schooler. We are delighted with the progress that she has made since being there. She has developed strong relationships with all the adults. This is evident when she is always happy to go into the nursery
in the morning, no matter which adult is at the door.
Staff always have a range of activities available for the children, including theme days. Plenty of outdoor space as well as opportunities to go on local trips. Communication with the nursery is great with daily observations on the app as well as adults giving feedback at the end of the day when picking up. A great nursery!

My daughter has been attending Nursery on the Green since the baby room and is now thriving at 3 and a half years old. The care provided each and every day is beyond anything I could have ever wished for. My daughter comes home talking about how much she loves her time there, the staff and all her friends
which makes any parent feel at ease about being at work. The manager is always on hand to answer any questions and the support for parents from all staff is amazing! I will be very sad when my daughter leaves next year to go to school but I know she will leave well equipped for her next chapter.

My child loves going to nursery to be with his friends and take part in the many activities the nursery puts on. I’m happy he’s confident, safe and well cared for.
We’ve been using the nursery for 3 years and I’ll be continuing to send him there until school.
